When Dina tells her sister's story to Ellie in Seattle, she tells Ellie something like "she always has an emergency backpack if something happens." In the part where Dina and JJ are seen sleeping, we can see Dina's backpack hanging on the wall, which means that she is still afraid.
the amount of details in this game will never cease to amaze me. the amount of thought put into that. naughty dog still put that detail in the game, even knowing that not too many people might make the connection
Dina is trouble. Mark my words... Ellie will go looking for her in the third game and she'll be lezzed up polygamy style with two chicks after birthing yet another child to some other poor clueless bloke. Everybody sees a boundless love story; I see a pain the ass.
In the last scene of TLOU2, when Joel says "I'd like that" to Ellie, she responds "Okay" with the same music background as when Ellie says "Okay" in the last scene of TLOU1. She says it the same way also
It's cool that there are shortcuts in the Nora chase, but I really don't know why they let you use them if they just had to turn Nora into the Flash to compensate
Doesn't seem like they were actually intended to be shortcuts. Navigating the level using them is something you'd only figure out on subsequent playthroughs so it's probably just an oversight. Having NPCs teleport like that is pretty typical in any chase sequence in a game.
@@TherapyGel It wasn't an oversight. If it was, Nora wouldn't be programmed to speed up if you catch up to her early. They clearly suspected players would use the shortcuts
4:30 Those same windchimes can be seen at Joel's house in Austin. We see them ath the porch briefly as Tommy, Joel, and Sarah leave the house. I am guessing Tommy brought it with him along with Sarah's photo because it prob had some sentimental value. That windchime has had one hell of a trip
When you first get dropped off at the WLF base you can overhear two NPCs talk about a boat. Those two NPCs were voiced by the people who voiced Clementine and Kenny from the The Walking Dead games.
One of my fav things is in the museum when you get to the painting that says liars under the firefly logo, Joel reaches out to Ellie covering the letter S so it just says Liar to Joel
in the first mission we have with abby, in the scene where we're in the back of the car talking to Mel and Manny driving the car out of the stadium we notice that the speedometer moves with the speed! I don't know if this detail has already been highlighted, but I think it's something so small and easy to go unnoticed that it deserves to be highlighted
One thing I noticed, but I don't know if it's just something in my head, is that in Abby's opening scene, when she wakes up in the Baldwin's cabin, she sees Owen at the window, and as she gets up she looks in the direction where Mel is sleeping. This shows that she wanted to make sure that Mel didn't see their interaction, which is actually quite intimate even after everything that happened. She even wipes a mess on his shirt, a form of affectionate touch. This look she takes to make sure Mel is asleep I found a very interesting detail and how everything was thought out.
More details : 1) You can break mirrors, and the reflection will change according to the way you break it. 2) The code the WLF soldier writes with his blood during Tommy's interrogation at the Serevena Hotel seen upside down spells ''Joel".
Ellie's backpack actually squishes a bit when you squeeze under or through something! it's really noticable when you have to crawl under the rubble to enter the hotel in the flashback, also when you squeeze through the area where you get attacked by the bloater. I'm probably the only one who just now noticed 😅, but I just thought it was such a cool detail that it actually squishes instead of clipping through it.
Another hidden detail in Jackson when playing as Ellie when her n Jessie go to meet Maria in the diner/bar there’s a group sitting down on the right talking about how Maria knew about the horde roaming around Jackson and wanted to keep it quiet
No matter if you love or hate this game, it was gorgeously crafted with so many details you can go back and find. Like how Ellie has Sam’s toy with her nicnacks in her home.
This is why naughty dog is up there with Rockstar and the detail that they put in their games. What I am scared for is whatever naughty dog's next game is going to be because when this game released 70% of the staff at naughty dog quit. That is a big reason I think why the multiplayer was taking so long and ended up getting canceled
At 4:02 you can see a rabbit on the right side. Im not sure about this, but as i remember clearly, after joel got heavenly injured in the stomach in part 1, we played as ellie. In her first cutscene she killed a rabbit with an arrow after joel was "gone". In this scene we see a living rabbit after joel is gone for real. Joel survived back then but the rabbit died, but here it is the opposite.
I don’t think that first one is that she took his mirror, she could just have any mirror. I actually think Joel took DOWN his mirror because he was too ashamed to look at himself after Ellie found out the truth. This is reflected at the very end of the game when Ellie goes back to the farmhouse. When you go to look in the mirror, she keeps her head down. She now feels that same shame Joel once felt because of her actions prior to that point.
@@tommywhitt7394 exactly, it’s like, that’s just a normal mirror?? 😂😂😂 I would understand if the mirror had his initials carved in or something but nope just a normal mirror
Technically abby stretches and rubs her shoulder before the fall. If you just sit around doing nothing while following Owen, she will do it but yes, I get what you are saying, it happens so early in the game that idk if the devs thought to take the animation out prior to the fall, let alone did they probably think players wouldn't follow Owen immediately.
@@theeasybreezy6493 I fucking love this game, I just block out others who don’t like it. It’s all based on opinion, and this is one of my favorite games I have ever played.
Damn, Ellie’s one of the toughest characters I’ve ever seen in video games. I mean sure, there’s Abby, but Ellie traveled miles WITH a stab wound and manages to have enough energy to beat Abby in a straight fight. Now I know Abby was completely fatigued, but Ellie pushed through more physical pain than Abby, that’s a notable feat and a dope one at that! God, I love the Last Of Us games so much
Ellie became a monster though. I did not want to play her anymore. In contrast, initially i did not want to play Abbey at all. This swing of feelings that the game caused is also a part of the great work they put into it. A gamer experience.
Ngl lev is pretty tough too. He was hunted by his people and had to watch his sisters arm get cut off then his own mother tried killing him so he had to kill his mom then lev watched yara die and then when he and abby gets caught hr suffers the whole time. All by him not even being what..13 mabye?
@@atrot30001 if that’s what you took from the game then you got the opposite intention. It wasn’t meant to “sway your opinion” or to think “the person you thought was good is bad, the person you thought was bad is good”. So what you are considering to be a masterpiece is getting the opposite what the writers wanted.
I just finished another play-through (Platinum!) and realized that you can see the 'bridge' in the background of Seattle long before you ever meet Lev. There are also a few times when Dina foreshadows being pregnant (nausea she plays off as being from the smell of the dead, or saying 'we' instead of 'I' at the WLF gate) that I didn't catch on my first play through.
Small one I never seen talked about but when Ellie and Dina are out on patrol at the beginning of the game right before they enter the room with spores if you hop into Photo mode and look at Ellies gas mask it’s cracked all over and doesn’t look like it’ll work. While Dina’s only has a few scratches from wear and tear.
I actually really liked Abby, a lot, and this little detail is really cute. Like she is so strong, trained well, and dedicated (muscles like that take years of hard work and proper diet). I’m also scared of heights and you can’t just exposure therapy your way out of it all willy nilly.
@KEN REEVE In my opinion people that didn't 'accept' TLOU 2's story where getting it all wrong.. what I mean by that is that many people considered Joel to be some kind of hero in the game. when in fact the man was just another survivor ( one who also did a lot of shit to other people ). so when Abby appeared and did what she did those people all lost their minds over a 'hero' that never existed... I loved TLOU 2. and i'm sure RD2 will be impressive aswell.
@KEN REEVE Yes he was. but just because he was a protagonist doesn't excuse him from his actions, he's not special and neither are Ellie, Dina, Tommy, Abby, Owen or anyone else.. when he died I was extremely shocked of course but I also understood why and/or the probable whys of that. Ellie's sexual orientation didn't make any difference to me, nor it affected the plot in any way.. we are in 2021 and if you're still 'offended' by what some people do with their private time that's your problem.. Again. if you wanted Joel to be a shining golden hero you've been experiencing this game wrong. TLOU is about the ugliness. a decayed world and the horrifying choices and consequences a person in a world like that sometimes is presented with.
When Mel hears about Manny's wild night with the weather girl Jenn, Manny tells her that she was called up as well by Isaac to the FOB to discuss weather patterns. When Abby & Manny makes it to confront Isaac about Owen, he tells them of his plan to wage a full-on attack on the Scars while using a storm to disguise it.. 😳
Another cool detail that i have noticed and it made the world even more immersive is that because its at a time when the society have collapse and its not running water anymore, you can see in every occupied house the improvised plumbing and running water at the faucet. For example in Joel and Ellies houses in Jackson you can see a barrel hang in the celling and with pipes that connect the sink, the toilet and the bath tub, very realistic and technical accurate made. Another detail, that i think its been cover on some videos on you tube is that if you go in the water the stuff from characters backpack will get wet and you can see this when you pick them in your hand. This game is pure art !
when ellie and dina are in the dome in the downtown chapter dina mentions her and her sister used to eat apples with honey and dina says shes craving them. obviously she could just be wanting to eat them but given she was pregnant at the time, it could have been one of her pregnancy cravings. if you listen closely to the dialogue throughout seattle day 1, there are many hints that point towards dina's pregnancy
I'm gonna definitely use the shortcuts in the Nora sequence :D When showing the execution from the trailer, it would've been nice to see a trailer comparison, because I had no idea what you were talking about. (I avoided watching any trailers) I wonder if Ellie's healing hand is a mistake or was made on purpose. Sure, she's immune, but shouldn't the bite still be visible?
I didn't want to show that part from the trailer because the trailer got age restricted. It looked a little more graphic in the trailer than it does in the final version so I didn't want to risk it. About Ellie's hand, I agree. I'm surprised there's no scar.
I haven’t played the game in ages, but wasn’t the time between Ellie getting bit and her going back to the farm taking place a good few weeks in between? A bite as small as that would’ve healed pretty quick.
@@altus2447 even if she heals quickly a bite from an infected doesn’t heal the same as any other wound, in the first game you can see that the scar on her arm has like some blisters around it and the scar look pretty bad even though she was biten three weeks ago when it’s revealed she is infected
@@manuelamaya6464 my guess is that with the first bite, she had some fungal growth that was quickly stopped by whatever makes her immune. The second time, her body doesnt have to adjust because it already knows how to fight off the infection. Or they couldve simply wanted all the visual emphasis on her fingers, lol, but I feel like that would be difficult to overlook.

I thought having the load that bullet in after doing an upgrade or during times where you’d do a flashback and set out on the next day and have to load it back in was an amazing touch. (Forgot to finish this)
another detail when in jackson and youre walking to the bar with jesse, theres a group of people talking about ellie and dina and the party, they say, “shh, shes coming over.” if you walk over to them
Man it's videos about small details like this that remind me why I love the Last of Us universe. The music, the character depth, the spores, the action, the locations and scenery. It's all so well done!
Let's just say Naughty Dog did a phenomenal job on details. No game is perfect, but man this one is pretty immersive! They nailed it. It's a linear game, but imagine this type of detail and gameplay in a more open world game. Truly amazing i have to give them respect and credit because every little detail means something
Not only the wind things, when visiting Joel's house you can see that he do wood carvings now, specially one of a cowboy, in the farm, Ellie has that same carving, so she got to his house after the Abby encounter
The Abby arm thing is not true. When you play one of her memories that takes 4 months prior to the events of Jackson (when she visits Owen during Christmas), she was doing the arm thing already since then.

The Last Of Us Part II was loved, appreciated and seen as a unique masterpiece by so many people... The Last Of Us Part II won the game of the year at the PlayStation Awards, with maybe 3 million more “user votes”! The Last Of Us Part II received 196 official critic awards, 65 official user vote awards, and a total of 261 official awards at the award ceremonies! It was the piece that won the most game of the year awards in history. So The Last Of Us Part II is GOAT!! Also, The Last Of Us Part II has extremely excellent and unique gameplay... The Last Of Us Part II is the best masterpiece in animation, level design, artificial intelligence design, melee, firearm use, particle designs, atmosphere design and game development... The Last Of Us Part II’s AI really does feel like a human, and it randomly and “naturally” wanders and explores every area it is in. They inspect everywhere: all the voids that can be penetrated, nooks and crannies, underwater, grass, inside the buildings, the whole environment... Their reactions differ according to the interactions in the environment, and the communication and interaction of the enemies with each other is also great! Npc dialogues = When an npc human or an npc dog dies, other npc people lament for dead npc human or dead npc dog, shout with anger, go crazy, swear to take revenge on the person who killed their loved one and are filled with negative emotions. That's why npc people act like real people and make them feel like real people... Looking at the post-apocalyptic dystopia design and the notes in this world, it is clear that there is always someone taking revenge on someone, always full of negative emotions... This is a personal, deep, psychological and special journey... The Last Of Us Part II turns its own post-apocalyptic universe into a powerful dystopia. It doesn't just tell a story. It processes the people in a mind-blowing way and places them in a dystopian universe with an enormous fiction. It connects the characters in it to the dystopian universe that it has created in relation to each other with thematic and emotional bonds. It explains in a magnificent way why this universe exists, the people in it, what is going on in this universe. Especially The Last Of Us Part II does this very well... And there is no other work in the industry that can do this with narrative techniques. The Last Of Us Part II is a work that has perspectives on the philosophy of utilitarianism, secular humanism, the meta-ethical branch of ethical philosophy, political philosophy at certain points (describing state destruction and criticizing the essence of the state, paralleling some of the thoughts of Thomas Hobbes) and moral relativism. The Last Of Us Part II deals with Thomas Hobbes' understanding of "homo homoni lupus" or "man is a wolf to man" very well... It also has a structure that tells the story of statism and the state order. Because the state is the only official authority that provides real justice. The state is a structure that puts people in order, rises above moral relativism and establishes a fundamental system of criticism and judgment in a smart and correct manner, which no one can object to. As in the novel 1984, the state can use this power for manipulation... And if the state collapses, the only law is the laws of nature, the strong one (he/she) provides his/her own subjective justice and the ethics of this is debatable, because since man is a thinking being, the strong one (he/she) will use tolerance and weakness to provide his/her own ideology and his/her own justice. Philosopher Karl Popper also says this. Here people live with the survival instinct inherited from our ancestors in the destroyed order because the laws of nature are cruel and this survival instinct is really at its peak. Under normal circumstances (today's order), a good, angelic person can be an angel with bloody hands and a broken wing in this universe (the post-apocalyptic dystopia of The Last Of Us)... This universe shows how different people can be in different orders, people can practice behaviors that seem distant from them but can be close at the same time... So people are neither black nor white, they are gray, they are angels with bloody hands... This is a tremendous dystopian post-apocalyptic universe. It is the design and expression of the apocalyptic universe... A different dystopian narrative, presenting different and original perspectives, presenting good and evil and all opposite concepts in gray without distinction makes The Last Of Us Part II a great "masterpiece" on the subject of "narrative". ... You definitely should read Paul Bloom's book Against Empathy! Empathy is a relative concept, and if someone doesn't understand the philosophy of empathy, that person shouldn't talk about it. The Last Of Us Part II is easy on empathy, so The Last Of Us Part II doesn't force empathy. This is already impossible... Empathy is unique to the person. The Last Of Us Part II deals with the concept of empathy very well... And The Last Of Us Part II cares about the main characters and the side characters around the main characters and handles them really well... So The Last Of Us Part II has extremely well-written characters. Other side characters serve meaningful and deep points in the story. You feel like they all have a purpose in the "narrative" of The Last Of Us Part II... The Last Of Us Part II characters render very well in gray tones and embed the concept of moral relativism very well into the characters... Every character (especially the main characters) is like a real person. The feelings and thoughts of the characters are presented in a realistic way and the character is definitely catchy and impressive, as each one feels like they are real-world people. Abby has been tortured by rattlers and has lost her majesty and become pathetic. Abby barely has the strength to stay afloat. Ellie unravels it, but they are stunned because now Abby has been tortured worse than death. Then blood gets involved, Ellie's own blood from PTSD reminds her of "Joel's death" and then she can't let Abby go and they fight. Later, the breaking of Ellie's fingers symbolizes guitar, the blood spilling into the water symbolizes Joel, life and human and Ellie's torture by strangling the defenseless and exhausted Abby symbolizes Joel's death. And an epiphany (Go to search) ensues. Later, she remembers a very meaningful "memory" she had with Joel, and this memory begins with Joel playing the guitar. This memory is the “moment” when she decides to forgive Joel, and this moment is the memory of the conscientious relief that comes from forgiving despite everything that has happened, the effort to start a new life with a clean slate despite everything that happens. In this way, she chooses to get rid of his feelings by "hesitating". Ellie wasn't there for revenge anyway, she was actually there to bring herself closer to Joel. Ellie went to find Abby to make up for her inability to save Joel. She had long since given up on revenge, she. Months had passed and Ellie had completely changed... As she said in the farm scenes... Ellie had not fully forgiven Joel. That's why Ellie was so angry with Abby. Ellie was angry with Abby for taking away her chance to forgive Joel. Ellie was so angry at Abby for killing Joel while they were on a bad break. And Ellie went to find Abby to fully forgive Joel. Ellie was there to make up for her inability to save Joel. In fact, Ellie was mostly angry with herself because she thought she had betrayed Joel. Ellie fought with Abby because she was so angry with herself and therefore to suppress the feeling of regret on herself, and for the reasons I explained in the finale, she realized that forgiveness is actually the medicine for revenge and anger... The relationship between Abby and Lev is very deep... Abby would not have been with Owen without Yara and Lev. Although Abby has fulfilled her desire for revenge, she still carries a guilt that makes her feel heavy, unhappy and depressed. Abby sees Yara's arm being smashed by the Seraphites, coldly and unhesitatingly, being struck again and again with the hammer. Later, he is saved from drowning by hanging, thanks to the direction of Yara and Lev's cutting the rope at the last moment. If Abby hadn't met Lev and Yara at that moment, she would have been dead, hanged and pierced. Lev and Yara are still children. And Yara needs protection and treatment. Abby helped Yara move forward, carrying Yara in her arms. Abby carried Yara in her arms for a long time. Because Abby wanted to help those two kids. When Abby left them and went to Owen, she looked from Owen's point of view, so she realized that things fought for were not always what they seemed. Even after Abby had been with Owen (because sex is a real heartfelt emotion and it does dominate), she was still overwhelmed by the pangs of conscience. And Abby saw the two kids she wanted to help and later abandoned, died by hanging in her nightmare. And Abby was holding her neck when she woke up in a sweat. Because Abby had never been hanged before, and if it weren't for Yara and Lev, Abby would've been standing outside forever hanging and disemboweled, not next to Owen. And Abby still owed those two kids the favor. And Abby listened to the voice of her conscience... Because Abby had caused such devastating events that she was trying to prove to herself that she had a good feeling somewhere inside and that she was a good person. That's why Abby couldn't forget Yara and Lev as she tried to prove she was a good person, choosing to listen to her own conscience and thus truly help them. And it was indeed a great finale. There is also a biblical reference and moth reference. In the Bible, water symbolizes new life, rebirth, and purification from sins. The Last Of Us Part II is truly an "emotional roller coaster" masterpiece...
3:28 you can see owens tracks but one thing i noticed in my multiple playthroughs and this video is you can also see tire tracks.. Maybe the WLF's drove to the place they are camping in? But i don't see a car in the garage
@@jennitrahan4903 but it's not there when abby and owen walk through, no? It's not a big detail but i noticed and found it odd.. wow that detail of Abby shoulder hurting throughout the game is like the weight of the guilt on her shoulders for killing Joel.. and that shoulder ache is a constant reminder..i also love the detail of how Abby first wakes up, because of her repeating nightmare, which ellie later goes through as well, that constant mental reminder to find some fulfillment, but mistakenly in the path for revenge.. and for abby that nightmare never stopped until she saved Yara and Lev.. and then for Ellie too until she saves Abby who mirrors Joel throughout the game, almost as if by saving Abby it feels like she also saved Joel.. amazing details.. idc what anyone says about this game.. its a masterpiece in my opinion..

@@Owen-sx4jj No, i don’t like how he was killed, it’s not that I have a problem with him being killed, *I just don’t like the way it was done* and I find it funny when people think I and Others hate the game just because of Joel dying. They tried So desperately to Make me FEEL for Abby. I felt nothing, as a matter of fact when I found out it was Tommy who killed manny I was filled with joy. The Dog thing is a poor manipulative attempt at trying to make me feel ANY sort of attachment to her character, at some points I deliberately let her die to see what the next animation would be… Not to mention the *Abby Good, Ellie Bad* philosophy. It’s terrible. And THE PACING throughout the story is TERRIBLE. Flashbacks within flashbacks WITHIN Flashbacks. It’s a poorly written story That THEY KNOW was going to be received badly but they instead lied and that brings us to here. They lied to us through marketing material and NEIL lied to OUR FACES saying “This will have Infinite replay value” or something along those lines when I and many people haven’t played it for over 9 months. and I preordered it and played the game as soon as it came out. I was beyond disappointed. And Sony altered the trailers to make it seem as if Jeol was involved seriously in the plot and it led players to believe that he existed and appeared in timelines he categorically didn’t appear in, and the trailers never ONCE mentioned The infamous Second playable character and led players to believe through an abundance of marketing material that the story we would get would be akin to the first truly beloved game. @@Zoxxies I don’t think they wanted you to like Abby, just to understand that she’s just like the rest of them, not some evil monster who killed Joel because fuck him, y’know? I feel like the whole dog thing didn’t want to make me like her, because in the end, just to make them feel human, because I still didn’t like abby anyways. But I could still understand where each character was coming from and their motives. Many other trailers for different games have also lied, like metal gear solid, which many people will regard as fantastic. This isn’t really a counter argument, because you can have your own opinion about metal gear solid, but I don’t think the game lying to you in trailers really change much, for me at least. And I can agree the pacing was shit. I feel like it should have been changed to where it goes between Ellie and Abby more often. Day 1 with Ellie, day 1 with Abby, day 2 with Ellie, day 2 with abby, etc, so maybe people won’t get dropped off with the adrenaline rushing through just to be forced to play abby. Maybe have the dreams separate them, idk. But I still liked the story anyways, because the pacing wasn’t so sufferable to the point where I could get interested in the story anymore, because personally the whole time I felt involved.
I always thought about the clicker bitting Ellie´s hand and then Abby chewing 2 fingers of the same hand, well Ellie is immune but what if the cordyceps is in her body and Abby got infected by doing that? I mean is not even a theory but makes you think
I have never thought at that, its interesting, but i think its not possible for Ellie to infect anyone, she even states this in a part of the game. Also the lore tell us that the only way to get infected is if the cordyceps virus comes in direct contact with a persons blood. To be honest it would be a very interesting theory.
that would be beautiful and would make me like this story better, expecially the ending. ellie loses EVERYTHInG and abby gets a second chance at life. wtf
@@cupboardmp3563 the loss of the fingers sets them SO far apart from me... i'm a musician so that hits me differently i guess. she forever lost the link through playing guitar to joel's memory. that's insanely painful. and abby didnt choose anything more wisely. her good ending was literally decided by ellie (her coming back and freeing her+ sparing her in the end). Even before that we see how scarred psycologically ellie is from what she went through. Abby doesnt have a care in the world. Let's not forget that she is the one that started the revenge cycle.
@@cupboardmp3563Both of them earned their second chance. As for the epilogue, you can interpret it as either Ellie came directly from California or from Jackson. You can have your own interpretation but my take is she got back with Dina or would be soon after.
I could've sworn in one of your videos there was a moment where you showed Ellie putting her bootd and how it kinda merged into her foot while the camera was foucused on her upper body most likely to save time during animation, I wanted to show a friend that cool little game design tidbit, but i couldn't find the specific video, if you don't mind could you tell me which video that was?

@@CHEESEpuff69, as the other guy enthusiastically pointed out, it could be rationalized that her immune system already has an acquired defense when the second bite happened. When she's first bitten, her immune system is able to prevent the cordyceps from taking over like it usually does, but as it was her first inoculation her immune system would've taken longer to mount a defense and the infection would've had more time to do some damage to the surrounding tissues. Or, ya know, the developers just forgot to include it.

It's cool that there are shortcuts in the Nora chase, but I really don't know why they let you use them if they just had to turn Nora into the Flash to compensate
I'd like to believe that they did it intentionally for humor 🥲😂
I Lost two bullets shooting at her. In the second that I didnt miss at all I understood that I had to chase her 😓
Doesn't seem like they were actually intended to be shortcuts. Navigating the level using them is something you'd only figure out on subsequent playthroughs so it's probably just an oversight. Having NPCs teleport like that is pretty typical in any chase sequence in a game.
Her surname is Allen. As in Nora Allen, the daughter of The Flash =).
@@TherapyGel It wasn't an oversight. If it was, Nora wouldn't be programmed to speed up if you catch up to her early. They clearly suspected players would use the shortcuts

Good catch. That's what I love about Abby honestly all her small interactions and facial expressions. She's say a lot by doing so little.

Yep. My thought exactly. I mean, why would she take his mirror anyway. Him not being able to look into his own eyes makes more sense.

@KEN REEVE Fair. that's also a remarkable game! it's on my 'to be played' list. :D
Guys, metal gear saga exist.

Honestly, this comment could be perfectly a college essay
@@EnaroGenaroX i might use it as a college essay
ellie shielding herself from the branches is the most adorable thing i have ever seen today
3:28 you can see owens tracks but one thing i noticed in my multiple playthroughs and this video is you can also see tire tracks.. Maybe the WLF's drove to the place they are camping in? But i don't see a car in the garage
Actually when Joel and Tommy go back there with Abby they put their horses in the garage where their vehicle is parked. 😊
@@jennitrahan4903 but it's not there when abby and owen walk through, no? It's not a big detail but i noticed and found it odd.. First that a car can even make it there although i suspect the jackson community worked to clear some of the roads, i never once saw a vehicle out of the jackson compound so i don't understand why they'd work to clear roads but mainly that the vehicle was just missing at a time when all of the WLF team is sleeping so where is that effin car/truck lol.. it'd have to be big to fit all of them and their gear too. in any other game i'd write it off as a mistake but Neil and his teams are pretty thorough with story based consistency. I never spot glaringly obvious mistakes in last of us games
1:51 you can spot Nora becoming Speedy Gonzalez for a bit.
Don't think youve included that sometimes when the girls are upgrading their weapons, when they put back a clip or round into a gun it can hit off the side or they don't get it in the first time

1:52 nora going light speed
The details absurd in this game lol. JUst noticed the bullet workbench thing yesterday. Also just picked up on how when you zoom in with the left trigger to look at stuff.. Ellie squints. I know that something people have already found but still.. I never noticed. Its just super cool to me when you see the detail like that.
wow that detail of Abby shoulder hurting throughout the game is like the weight of the guilt on her shoulders for killing Joel.. and that shoulder ache is a constant reminder..i also love the detail of how Abby first wakes up, because of her repeating nightmare, which ellie later goes through as well, that constant mental reminder to find some fulfillment, but mistakenly in the path for revenge.. and for abby that nightmare never stopped until she saved Yara and Lev.. and then for Ellie too until she saves Abby who mirrors Joel throughout the game, almost as if by saving Abby it feels like she also saved Joel.. amazing details.. idc what anyone says about this game.. its a masterpiece in my opinion..
Ellie’s interacting with the wind chimes is such a nice touch. Really cool detail.
01:52 nora turns into nora allen here wtf is that running speed HAHAHAH
The shortcuts are like a blunt pencil: Pointless
Ellie that's all I got lol
People probably didn't get the ellie joke
ahh i love these videos, so relaxing
On 4:30 those wind chimes where also on Joel's house in the first game when he was with his daughter when they left that night when Tommy came after them
This game is... is perfect
Story is terrible everything else is, yes
Yes, is a masterpiece
@@Zoxxies because Joel died?
@@Owen-sx4jj No, i don’t like how he was killed, it’s not that I have a problem with him being killed, *I just don’t like the way it was done* and I find it funny when people think I and Others hate the game just because of Joel dying.
They tried So desperately to Make me FEEL for Abby. I felt nothing, as a matter of fact when I found out it was Tommy who killed manny I was filled with joy.
The Dog thing is a poor manipulative attempt at trying to make me feel ANY sort of attachment to her character, at some points I deliberately let her die to see what the next animation would be…
Not to mention the *Abby Good, Ellie Bad* philosophy.
This was another lie. And that was intentional.
This game is an absolute mess that doesn’t deserve even half the praise it gets. Gameplay, Details, SFX and Graphics wise, it deserves all the praise but everything else… no.
The Last of Us II is a true disappointment.
@@Zoxxies I don’t think they wanted you to like Abby, just to understand that she’s just like the rest of them, not some evil monster who killed Joel because fuck him, y’know? She’s just like Ellie in the fact that they are just survivors who wanted revenge.
2 that I saw this week is that standing water will have moving tadpoles in it and at one point you go into the bar from the opening of Uncharted 3.

1:53 - Sonic, is that you?
2:58 I thought she was gonna chop off his head xd
Another detail is you can see levs shark toy when you are in abby’s boat in santa barbara
To be honest it would be a very interesting theory.
that would be beautiful and would make me like this story better, expecially the ending. ellie loses EVERYTHInG and abby gets a second chance at life. wtf
@@filippomusenga6274abby lost everything too, she just started her second chance more wisely than ellie by not leaving her only companion for revenge
If it is the former, I can’t imagine her just ditching all her weapons after the encounter. Plus she left the house straight after purposefully.

I LOVE THIS GAME!
The people behind it are clearly some of the most caring and detail oriented developers in the business.
I have wanted to make a video like this myself because i feel like there are a lot of people that miss it and then are VERY vocal about it.
Which isn't fair imo.
I kinda really hurts to see this level of craftsmanship be so harshly unappreciated by people that can't be bothered to care.
I dunno, it kinda feels like people don't look at this game for what it actually is. It's a work of absolut art not just a traditional game.
I have never seen a game like this before. It's INCREDIBLE!

I mean Ellie is immune so it makes sense why her hand healed
Yeah but the other bite mark on her arm hasn't healed at all.
@@CHEESEpuff69 that wasn't a minor bite also it was the first encounter with the infection!
@@XnonTheGod uh, ok. Calm down.
As a relatively new and older gamer, the only thing I didn’t like about TLOU2 is that other games just leave me empty. If you’d told me I’d shed a tear over a video game, I’d have said you’re mad…. How wrong was I. Amazing game and thanks for the upload.
