19:45 Overheating is a greater issue in space than in an atmosphere due to there being no surrounding matter for the heat to diffuse into. Basically the only way for the heat to go anywhere is for it to radiate out into the vacuum which happens very slowly. Therefore, heat builds up a lot quicker.

Imagine doing a Nerd Challenge on this the same way he did one with Besiege. Build one rocket, keep on improving it, but you're not allowed to keep the rocket in space if it goes wrong, you can't delete parts (unless they're mistakes) and you aren't allowed to let the cockpit explode.

Dan, a nice tip for pointing in the right direction for burns is to use the SAS (T key). There is a little set of dots to the left of the nav ball and you can set it to point in the direction of any of those markers on your nav ball (even as they move). Edit: Ah, he figured it out.

I always get pleasantly surprised by the post-credits scenes when I've watched a video countless times and don't realise that there is one. I really need to keep a better eye out for them!
There's a cool trick you can use when you keep running out of power. You can put batteries into cold storage by turning them off manually. This should allow them to keep a charge indefinitely. Or... at least until you need to use them, you'll still need some way to recharge them during the mission as you continue draining them. Some engines can recharge while you burn (since they include some kind of converter) but usually it's best to just slap some solar panels somewhere on your ship.
and now to graduate to interplanetary motherships. multiple atmospheric and lander probes, a couple manned landers, kethane miners, orbital refueling stations, and science facility all in one package!
