ya know there is a really fun tank idea where you use restoring sipon, spirit guardian, bone armor, pains refuge cp point, iron clad, enduring resolve, the armor and resistance for having an ice staff point, and biting aura as well as than playing a dark elf vampire stage 3 using encratis, leki's focus, and ironblood to have RIDICULOUS dmg mitigation especially as people start to kill you especially since you dont just get the bonus 20% aoe dmg reduction but also with enduring resolve nad making sure to use the bone armor ability with all necro passives, you actually also get 21% dot dmg reduction and of course when you block with a ice staff or shield you get that sweet cool like 74% single target dmg mit and on top of all of that you get 34% dmg mit from your buffs and the 50% from your armor and if people hit you with too many negative effects you can recover whatever extra % dmg they will make ya take by 20% or get ya to low health you get upwards of 30% meaning if they max out both than you get a bonus 50% dmg mit so even if they caused you to take 30% or even 40% more dmg, you flat out will hardly notice the like 10% dmg mit they took from your still leaving you at like 95% dmg mit........
Absolutely fantastic video but I was wondering can the inferno and Ice destruction staff proc minor vulnerability or is it just the Lightning staff can
Hey! Great question, minor vulnerability is a chance negative effect that comes with shock damage, now granted you could use another form of staff and place on it a Shock Glyph but the other staffs are not suited for a healer. Fire will proc the Burning status effect which does extra over time damage - Best for DDs Ice staff will proc Chilled and then Minor Brittle allowing for extra Critical damage - Best suited for Tanks or Magicka Wardens (Especially after recent updates) The reason why a healer typically uses a Lightning staff is due to the Minor Vulnerability but also the concussed statues effect which comes with lightning staff, allowing for allies to receive more resources on a heavy attack. Hey, thanks for the great question! So in all honesty, overland/zone content is super easy... even healing skills will defeat mobs super quickly. You will struggle with things like world bosses perhaps, just may take some time. If I was you, just to make your life a little easier, just equip the odd damage skill on your bar and keep it there whilst doing the overland/zone content. Dont forget about stam scythe. Allows group/raid to run exploiter since you can keep AoE off balance on cooldown. Amazing for trash packs and even better for boss burst
Hey, thanks for the comment! As much as this is a good idea, running a lightning staff will also apply off balance, which will obviously effect exploiter, plus it depends on the group your with, I run with a Magicka Sorcerer, who primarily uses lightning, so both of us combined should have enemies off balance 100% of the time! I have two worries with running the Scythe for a healer 1. It means the healer has to get up close and personal with the adds and bosses, putting you in immediate danger... 2. @@connorwiseman3685use the ritual stone instead, it increases healing effectiveness by 8%, 13% if you have the divines trait on your armor. And you can still level the skills by using them on yourself. You could queue for random dungeons or go to alikr desert and find a group that's running dolmens. Either will level your character and skills pretty fast.
Hey! So I would always recommend just exploring zones and completing quests. You will level up pretty quickly by doing so. I just realized I can’t use winters respite since I’m missing one more piece. Which would be smart to remove? The mythic or the helm to get the whole bonus?
Hey there! So if your following the build you should have 5/5 Winter's respite on the back bar because it's a back bar set. Winter's Respite procs with a ground AOE which is why Wall Of Elements and Boneyard are on the backbar because both will proc Winters Respite and they both have the same timer as the set. They matter a great deal! Perhaps I should of mentioned.... sorry (noted for next build video 😂) A good rule is any skill line you get an active from, get all the passives. Double check others though, a good example is The Undaunted skill line, even if you don't get any actives from that line, you should always get the passives, as they help resources massively! It is just a case of reading the passives and seeing if they will actually work for you!
Hey, so that depends on what sort of content you want to do. If your wanting to do overland/zone content it will do the job just fine. You may struggle with World bosses but apart from that, no issues. If your thinking of dungeons solo then this build won't help at all. It may help you to look into solo builds rather then healer builds!
Hey, good question. So I use a Breton for this build as it helps with Magicka sustain but you can absolutely use a High Elf, you may struggle with Magicka but High Elf has a boost to spell damage which in turn boosts your healing done like it does your damage. Try it out and give it a go! Let me know if it works!
The video is very well put together but I see some common pitfalls that new/unexperienced healers make when it comes to skill selection and usage. Overall, it's a decent build but usually for higher tier/vet content you would want to be more specialized when it comes to sets and buffs provided to the team
Hey there! I appreciate the compliment on the video! I completely agree with you in regards to changing things up with skills or sets depending on type of content or group. That is why I have the skills and sets I do because it works really well for my little friend group of three 😅 To be completely honest, in the nine years I have played ESO I have never really had a healer as my main character. I had found that this specific combinations of skills and sets worked really well not just for me but my group. At the end of the day, that's how ESO works, Most importantly is to use what works for you because if you don't enjoy it then what is the point of playing it and also make sure what you are using actually benefits the role your playing within your team. I can say that this build did get me and my team through Veteran Kyne's Aegis which was a blast! But seriously, thank you for the feedback, it is very much appreciated and I totally agree with you!
Hey! The Necromancer class came out with Elsweyr, so in order to use it you have to either own Elsweyr or buy the Necromancer class from the crown store.
Hey, sorry I am not best suited toward Warden, probably my least played class. If you search it up I'm sure something will come up, perhaps from Alcast or Deltia's gaming?
It's not rocket science, and the fun lies in discovery. Build what works for you, and see how it works in dungeons. Replace spells that fall short of your intended needs and try again. You'll end up with a good build in no time.
No harm in trying? I would recommend wearing some heavy armour though. If not then you'll be destroyed in seconds as you will be targeted as the group healer.
Hey! You will need to make a few adjustments in order to use this build in PVP, starting with using some heavy armour. Winter's Respite won't do much in PVP either so you'll need a replacement set.

Double check others though, a good example is The Undaunted skill line, even if you don't get any actives from that line, you should always get the passives, as they help resources massively!
It is just a case of reading the passives and seeing if they will actually work for you!
Does it work after the nirv
I'm new to ESO. How do you play this build solo? Can you do any damage?
Hey, so that depends on what sort of content you want to do.
If your wanting to do overland/zone content it will do the job just fine. You may struggle with World bosses but apart from that, no issues.
If your thinking of dungeons solo then this build won't help at all.
It may help you to look into solo builds rather then healer builds!
Is this a high Elf build? Sorry if you said it in the video I didn't catch it
Hey, good question.
So I use a Breton for this build as it helps with Magicka sustain but you can absolutely use a High Elf, you may struggle with Magicka but High Elf has a boost to spell damage which in turn boosts your healing done like it does your damage.
Try it out and give it a go! Let me know if it works!
Can this work for pvp?
The video is very well put together but I see some common pitfalls that new/unexperienced healers make when it comes to skill selection and usage. Overall, it's a decent build but usually for higher tier/vet content you would want to be more specialized when it comes to sets and buffs provided to the team
Hey there!
I appreciate the compliment on the video!
I completely agree with you in regards to changing things up with skills or sets depending on type of content or group.
That is why I have the skills and sets I do because it works really well for my little friend group of three 😅
To be completely honest, in the nine years I have played ESO I have never really had a healer as my main character.
It's saying I have to buy it witch is it
Hey!
The Necromancer class came out with Elsweyr, so in order to use it you have to either own Elsweyr or buy the Necromancer class from the crown store.
I can't find a good warden healer guide other then battlegrounds can anyone lead me to a guide
@@DrunkenRhinoceros dungeons are way different then pvp ...dungeons are easy pvp feels like I can't heal
Can this be used in PVP?
No harm in trying?
I would recommend wearing some heavy armour though.
If not then you'll be destroyed in seconds as you will be targeted as the group healer.
@@outoffcoffee will do thank you!
its work on pvp?
Hey!
You will need to make a few adjustments in order to use this build in PVP, starting with using some heavy armour.
Winter's Respite won't do much in PVP either so you'll need a replacement set.
@@outoffcoffee ow ok :D so heavy arrmor is the best on pvp i didnt know that :D im too fresh
@@maciejdziubek9695 Well it isn't best, however as a healer you will be targeted by everyone!
So you will need that extra bit of protection. 😁
@@outoffcoffee are you recommend something for pvp ? :) i really like healing , i died too fast i dont know which set shoul i use . I really like winter respite effect , i wish i can leave that and just add some heavy arrmor but dont know which one .
@@maciejdziubek9695 Okay, so if you personally want to use Winter's Respite then I would recommend wearing Mark of Pariah heavy armour set on the body, should make you a little harder to kill!
This seems like a very lacking build. What I mean is, the damaging spells built in aren't much and I feel like as a healer, I need to be doing more.
I really likes this one besides deaden pain. Takes all the dead bodies away on the ground for other abilities you might want to use them for.
Thanks for comment!
Yeah, feel free to change it up to make it more enjoyable for you! I'm glad you like the bulk of it though. 😁
@@outoffcoffee just wanted to say I’ve been using your build with a few modifications like the deaden pain and olorimes since I already had it golded out. Works fantastic! Been able to pull some fun and easy vet trials
