- Update 2.2 modified the level editor to work in a way where the level's height is determined by the highest block in the level. This means that there is theoretically no height limit as long as you keep building the level higher and higher, so today I tried to build the tallest level ever!

3:03 that happens because the speed it rotates at is determined by the move time and the Move X/Y. So Rob either had to make it instantly move, make the move animation last forever or hard code so it moves at a set speed (he chose the first option clearly)

12:02 for scaling up the glow just use the warp tool and click the lock icon to lock the dimensions of the object so that it scales like the 2.1 scale tool with no size limits

For the scale thing, in the editor options, there's an option that changes the scale to be 0.25 - 4.00 instead of the default options. I use it all the time.

I would love to see someone make a really tall level but you descent instead of ascend. There was a level with some sort of fall death height limit, no clue how they did it tho. Would love to see someone use this to make a Made In Abyss level or something, so much potential with 2.2!

you can randomize delays in spawn triggers with the "+-" slider. It just changes how varied the delay is, as in "plus or minus ___ seconds"

-1 speed is for infinite time, if you use aim mode/follow mode and dynamic mode with either of them then it will last until you use a stop trigger on it. aim mode points to another group and follow mode copies the rotations of another group

just so you know slider limit still works on the second scale (the one where you can scale x and y seperatley, it’s just more work

For scale hack you have to use the thingy that lets you morph objects, with the lock turned on so it doesnt deform diagonally
5:25 you can use that +- slider to change the range of time for the delay.
You should do one that the spikes spin around and try to fight you and you have to touch these things that shoot at it

You should make a Dorabaebasic style level.
Tip put a rotate rigger down with the effect lines on then copy and paste it and use the small arrows to move the second rotate trigger to the right place then select both pause the game then press create loop pls like

I don’t know if I’m the crazy one here but normally to rotate stuff in platformer I set it to 360 degrees for (eg) three seconds and then set it to loop every three seconds

The end should be a randomize thing where one button sends you to the begining but you get access to coins but one sends you to the level complete screen that way its a longer playtest 😉
