One thing that's a bit unbelievable about this scene is that the guy was able to sit on his ass after taking a full shotgun blast to it seconds before.
true, but there's a lot that is tactically amiss here. the soldato wouldn't be standing on either side of McCall without having broken his knees and elbows first. But it makes for a revenge movie.
Everybody is gangsta until McCall enters the scene.
Denzel is in the top 5 of movie actors working today. I have seen the first 2 Equalizer films and looking forward to seeing the 3rd. Denzel is so damn believable as the man who takes revenge and stands up with the good people.
Sadly , equaliser 3 doesn't live up to the hype . A poor ending .

Im beginning to think that McCall actually enjoys playing with his prey before executing them.
I'm sure he enjoys playing with them, it seems like a bit of sadism is showing through.
People with that set of skills are actually calm in the chaos. Dude is at his chillest state when he turning off someone else’s light lol
probably what he really feels a need to apologize for. his late wife might have understood simple termination as a necessary job to perform for his country, but toying with his enemy could seem psychopathic.
When you realise he is much more violent and sadistic than John Wick

Robert McCall is SO BAD ASS, that in the above scene The man on his left has a 6-shooter pointed at him, when the 9-seconds goes into effect the man on his left 6-shooter shoots 10-rounds, A SIX SHOOTER SHOOTS 10-Rounds, NOW THAT IS ONE BAD ASS Equalizer !!... Edward Woodward was good, BUT Denzel Is the Man, he plays the part..

Grandpa knew that he'd either rejoin his grandson in the Rover or that the boy would eliminate whoever caused the killing. He didn't have to tell him what to do. He only told him to stay in yhe car and he did. McCall told him to stay in the car but he didn't.
