I must have watched this scene over 50 times or it seems like that anyway. It's just written and acted out so very well. You catch the arrogance of the Mafia and McCall's zero tolerance for that arrogance. Just brilliant, just brilliant and extremely entertaining. Thank you.

I agree, the Italian actor is very talented, im surprised its overlooked...you would really believe hes the character...not to mention the way he acted being in pain when mcall pressed the nerve, to me that Italian actor stole the show in this scene

The last thing he looked at was straight into McCalls eyes until his soul left this earth, this is cinematography at its absolute finest, up there with the “your not afraid of me are you” scene in “Dead Man’s Shoes”

it's that last part where McCall stares him down after he dies. All I can think of is that I heard the human brain is still functioning a while after death. Man - I know it's just Hollywood - but man.

This scene is awesome, but there's one small mistake: He didn't calculate the time needed and didn't beep his watch ;-)
I believe that him using the guys watch against him still represents his use of his watch in other scenes

This makes sense: he is a serial killer who has military experience. That's why the third one presents him as a horror movie character, while the first two were just action packed. He mentioned on the first movie “promised someone not to return this life”.

Love john wick and actually seen both these movies when they came out in 2014 but i think EQ3 had a better ending that JW4. I felt the ending to the equalizer gave Denzels character a great ending and send off… JW in the other hand felt like a cliffhanger or doubt that he was really gone.. i seen they confirmed a 5th installment so lets hope they go out with a bang and finish the story before it turns into a F&F series

We're Native American from the Cherokee Nation east of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma. We were
strong boys but he would pluck one his thick head hairs and put an end of it in each hand and pull it taught across the bridge of our noses. If you tried to get stubborn and bully your way through sitting up it would cut you across the nose and it never broke and you couldn't push hard as it made it hurt worse. So, John Wick had his "f'n pencil" and my dad had his indestructible f'n Superman hair.
