After an unexpected Kundalini awakening last year, which has been an amazing rollercoaster mix of bliss and healing since then, the Kundalini has inspired me to do many new things. In an intense impulse I signed up for a Kundalini Yoga instructor course... despite never having ever done a yoga class, and being a guy (didn't realize guys can do yoga too). In preparation for the course starting in a couple months I've been doing Kundalini Yoga on TH-cam, and of the various instructors I really like your essence. For me, you are the Goldilocks instructor... not to fast, not too slow, not too intense, not too wimpy... you're juuuuuuuuust right. The instructions and timing you give for the inner focuses allows for the inner experience to bloom nicely. Thank you for sharing your videos with the world!
I just completed this practice for the first time. I am going to be integrating it into my weekly practice. I love the invitation to bathe in our own energy. To create it , feel it and then surrender into it. Fantastic and so centering, uplifting and grounding. It is like a multi=vitamin. ❤️
I love you Brett! You really are so genuine and awesome! Thank you for all of the free videos. Thank you for your wisdom, you are truly in service to the people in my eyes
This was my first experience with Kundalini and it was wonderful! I first discovered you for your migraine video (I've had a migraine all day everyday for 3 years) and I have enjoyed learning more about yoga with you since! Thank you!
Holding the shoulder blades in that position gave my labrum surgery a good stretch! And of course, the metaphysical energy redistribution was appreciated and agreeable.
loving this type of yoga which is new for me, very energising which is perfect with the humidity and heat of the summer can still keep fit!! many thanks you are a very good instructor!!!
This became deeply spiritual for me. I came to the practice with the intention of non-judgment and was able to hold that intention throughout the whole practice. I will visit this again. Namaste!
I have tried to finish this practice previously and had trouble getting through all of the postures. I was not able to sit on my ankles last time and not able to complete the posture of turning my head side to side as I have had issues with vertigo for several years now intermittently. I just realized after being able to finish this practice completely today that I have not had any vertigo for quite a while. I am wondering if yoga is helping to alleviate problem as well as many others I have had. This time it was just as challenging however I have been practicing some of your other kundalini classes and I somehow now can relax and really hone into the meditation of it all. I feel totally relaxed and open as well and did not get the least bit dizzy when I moved my head side to side this time. I really want to purchase the 40 day Kundalini class you have in the future when I can afford it. Yoga is totally healing in so many ways. I practice at least 6 times a week with your classes if not 7. I am so thankful I found your class back in January of this year and listened to my Yogi daughter. Namaste!!!
This is such an incredible share!!! I love hearing how your practice has progressed since you first came to the channel, it really is an honor to be part of your journey
So beautiful and deeply inspirational...in an intangible way. Thank you again Brett. You can't imagine how grateful I am to you for all your yoga/meditation videos, the Kundalini yoga/meditation series are particularly eye-opening to me.
I sit Indian style for some of these because of a knee problem. I can’t sit with mi legs under me, my knee would come out of joint. First time for me. I just got my reiki master certification and my instructor told me to do this. So hi, here I am. 😄
I love this so much. Thank you for sharing and putting the time and effort in for us all to benefit from this wonderful kriya. I absolutely have a good productive day after each morning that I do this. You are wonderful. Jo Nottingham England x
Hi Brett,I say you do Yoga very good and instruct very well,I don’t know to much about it,but I enjoyed watching your video, and I say your really good at it,and I would say it”s very therapeutic for the whole body, mind, and you, thank you, love Denny😘🙏
Personally I find it useful to do the amount that feels comfortable. I followed along for 15 minutes and felt content with my efforts. Just saying in case there are people who push themselves to get through the whole 45 minutes. Slow and steady wins the race. You're trying to build a habit, which will naturally make you able to endure longer over time. Don't think you need to run a marathon as a beginner of any new skill. Besides, ain't nobody got time for that. (:
Thank you so much for this🙏, have been trying to find a morning ritual that's not as taxing as Vinyasa but still gives me the same energy and Well-being kick, this is amazing 👍❤️🙏
I attend weekly kundalini sessions at my local yoga studio once a week but was looking for something to follow at home between classes and this was great. I feel so calm and energised after this. I enjoy listening to you describe the benefits of each pose as well. I would have liked some soft kundalini inspired music in the background but maybe some people prefer to practice in silence. I have subscribed! Sat Nam 💜
It was rather difficult to hear due to the volume of the video, but the effort was worth it. Breathing like this really calmed me down and the mental chatter eventually faded. The final meditation was incredible. I started to see all these colors and I got carried away with it. It felt like Dali was painting Dumbo's drunk dream all over again. :)
I've been doing yoga for over 3 years now but surprisingly this is my first time trying a Kundalini practice. I did enjoy it a lot though I will be coming back to your channel to try some different ones. I usually do vinyasa or yin yoga for back pain and to keep me centered but I found this type of practice to work just as good if not better in some aspects. The first sat nam exercise really felt amazing on my spine and hips my whole charaka system really felt a huge opening up from it which I don't get from the other 2 types of yoga. A energizing practice but also it helped clam my mind and really slow things down that need to be slowed down. Thanks for sharing this awesome practice with us looking forward to trying more of your kundalini practices in the future!
Hi Brett, thank you for this offering. I enjoy your kundalini classes. I have a question about the part of this kriya. When we are in easy seated pose, holding our shins, and rocking the spine between convex and concave shapes, you cue us to engage mula Banda in the concave (or “seated cat” arch) position. Should we be releasing the mula bandha when we shift into the convex (or “seated cow”) shape? Or should be be holding that bandha for the whole time? Thank you! Jai Bhagwan. 🙏
Another very powerful one. I had phlegm coming up a lot of the time, and I noticed that my quadraceps were really burning during frog. Thank you for this Brett. Namaste.

Good Day Brett, Awesome video i really felt relaxed, energised and radiant at the end of the practise however i was struggling to hear you the whole time and this broke my concentration. A wise suggestion maybe to invest in a clip on mic. I also had troubling doing the Sat Kriya, even though i was supported on cushion in child's pose, this kriya put immense unbearable pressure on my ankles. What can I do to ease the pressure off my ankles?
Sorry, audio gets weird on here sometimes... You can roll up a blanket or towel to place on the floor under the ankles to help you here, or use two rolled up wash clothes when on a cushion. Hope this helps, thank you for practicing with me!
Hi Brett! you know the moving posture around 25 min where we go up and down of a kind of yogi squat, well i get afraid for my knees because they tend to feel weak and i hear one of them cracking a lot. Hi Brett! I have one question, is it normal that I would get dizzy in each of the breathing exercises. I thought maybe I was doing it too fast but I slowed down and it was the same. Thanks for the practice. :)
Yes, getting dizzy is normal when trying these breathing techniques for the first time, sometimes even the first few times. Hopefully this improves for you with practice. See you on the mat!!!
Thank you it felt great but my legs felt so numb, especially at the end of the first practice, is this normal? It is my second ever Kundalini practice, thank you
