Flooding in Williamsport

Water overtakes Reach Road near the 2000 block on Friday morning. A flood warning is in effect for Lycoming County until noon today. We also visited Grafius Run as a worker from the city tries to keep the creek clear from debris to prevent more flooding.

I live up reach Road during the 72 flood, l remember that intersection, even though the beltway wasn’t open yet had water shooting out of manhole covers there water was deep like the video shows

The underground drainage systems may have been clogged due to garbage or the manhole covers may have been covered by leaves and some other things, reducing the drainage quickly leading to flooding.😢😢😢
