The small town of Trout Run was torn in two by historic flooding thanks to over 6" of heavy rain produced by what was once Tropical Storm Debby! The town, named after the run (creek) that splits it down the middle, was damaged by a wall of water full of logs, trees, cabins and vehicles! The Trout Run fire department was damaged and it is unclear if the building will be usable. At the present time, the kitchen and back side of the building is heavily damaged but the trucks and most of the gear were safe. Dozens of homes were damaged and several sustained foundation damage that likely will mean demolition.
Water has receded but the clean-up is just beginning!

I heard about it collapsing on my scanner.I was pretty suprised it was so bad , but we had an abundance of water . Sad to see Fire Station 16 wiped out
Sad situation . I used to lean on the bridge @ 1:26 while hitchhiking home from college on the weekends . This one time ....maybe I shouldn't tell that story 😆

So much flooding but after the water recedes thick mud is left behind…oh what a royal mess! 🥵😱😢
The bridge caused all of the damage which is very common. They restrict the flow of water and become nothing more than beaver dams of debris.

@@ethanrbutler The water is a crafty veteran that can find its way around any defense. The bridge is simply a newcomer that doesn't understand the rules of the game.
