A significant flash flood devastated the Westfield, Pennsylvania area today. The entire town was under water, with multiple water rescues ongoing earlier this afternoon. Damage from the flood is widespread and can be seen across the area. Some homes are still under water, with residents evacuated. Tioga county is now under a declaration of disaster. The heavy rainfall was associated with the remains of once hurricane Debby.
This all hurts to see. I don't dare come off my hill to see the damage. So many people lost their homes, my daughter was one of them. The whole valley was under water, many towns and many homes are flood damaged.
Terrible news and heartbreaking loss 😢😢. Praying 😊

Used to visit my grandparents and aunt here in the summertime. So sad to see. Our prayers go out to all.

Most folks have basements in these areas! Washers/dryers, furnaces n hot water heaters will need replaced…big expense for many who will struggle to do so!! 🥵😱😢

I've seen worse I am 1955 Leaf New England had a big flood
