    If you set mouse precision to 1 on Windows, you can set the DPI to 25,600 on the mouse, for an effective DPI of 1600. This gives you the same 360º distance as a flat 1600 with Windows mouse precision at 6, while taking advantage of the maximum resolution your mouse allows. That's what people using those high DPI settings are actually doing.

      @@TheRageAcademy The only issue you'll find is that plenty of games, especially old ones or consoles ports, don't support DPIs above 2000 or so. But if you play modern, properly designed games, it's a pleasure to play at the maximum resolution your mouse is capable of delivering.

    When turning on bluetooth pairing mode by pressing mouse 4&5 button and the scroll wheel, the manual says that the scroll wheel and the razer logo both light up, but in my mouse only the razer logo lights up. Is it tge case with you as well?

    I have just only got the mouse 2 weeks ago and it is my first gaming mouse and it changed my way of gaming forever at first when I try change the dpi ( which is 2000 btw) at first I struggle to handle the sensitivity but after a while it became second nature to me and It made me even more better at shooting games. I also like the wheel , I usually use the wheel as a quick slider and help me to pick the gun I wanted very quickly and i can have a little fun while waiting at a lobby or something. overall best mouse I ever used.

    @Kr_ysis 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    For the razer software part you can use multiple devices for there uh synaps software its nice when you have multiple devices but for just a mouse, bro made me think about it why you need a software for a mouse but yea its nice either way :)

      Be able to customize is nice, I just wish they did it in a better way. At this point, many months after this review. I’ve had synapse repeatedly update my mouse while I’m gaming even though I have auto-updates off…. I talk a bit about that in the Deathadder video. I really hope the market moves to a webUI with onboard memory being the standard soon

    Too bad you didn't showed the RGB lighting in the dark. I really wanna see if it the same like wired Basilisk V3 or it's different as that's one of the key factors in my opinion before buying. Also, that sound is so crisp. I also have the SM7B but can't get that type of sound. That’s lame about the scroll wheel. I think a lot of these manufacturers should be providing after market parts to purchase for user repair. The software is absolute dog shit. I’ve disabled auto-updates multiple times and they always reenable. So the mouse will stop working when it decides to update. Usually I end up using it without software. It sucks it doesn’t have on-board memory though for custom profiles.
      I haven’t experienced the battery issues though. Mine is just about a year old and still going strong. It displays the battery percentage in the software for me too. I really like the shape, feel and the uniform scroll wheel on the mouse. I wish it was a bit lighter and had writable memory but it what it is

      @@TheRageAcademy on my old Cougar 700m the elastic on the scroll wheel stretched after almost 6 years... On the new Basilisk V3 Pro it stretched in just 6 months... Regarding the autonomy of Balisilk = at a polling frequency of 2000 MHz it is not enough for 12 hours (my working day 12 hours 2/2 days) - so I had to set it to 500 MHz (for 12 hours at 500 MHz - it eats up from about 100% to 30-35%% charge).. No, I didn’t buy a new mouse, in my country salaries are small (in on average about $500 per month), I get a little more, but I can’t change branded mice so often, so I’ll try to cut the rubber on the scroll wheel, cut off the excess and glue it back with superglue. I ordered professional glue from the online store and am waiting for delivery. I tried to find a spare scroll wheel on Chinese sites, but it is only available for older Razer models...regarding ergonomics = I would like a larger size and a little heavier + it would be desirable if there were wings for the fingers on both sides like on the old Razer Ouroboros.. Initially I wanted to buy an asus spatha, but in its patterns on the left wing dirt collects a lot and is difficult get it out of there..+ I have 2 stray cats and a dog at home, a lot of hair, I was afraid that their hair might get between the side buttons, there are a lot of gaps, that’s why I bought a basilisk... Once upon a time I had a Razer Lachesis 5600 and it served for almost 4 years, I hoped that the basilisk would work the same and not fall apart for at least 5 years...I bought it in the official online store razer on March 17, 2023 as a gift to myself for my birthday, which is on March 18th (white version) mouse v3 pro + dock pro station + delivery cost me about $285
