Are the Bilstein shocks worth the price? I have an 03 Tahoe with 200K and I'm wondering if I should buy the cheap no name brands or pay more and get KYBs or even Bilsteins. I'm not doing any offroading or towing, just regular commuting. Thoughts? Thanks

It's honestly hard to say. When I installed them, my body mounts were shot, and I didn't realize it for a while. By the time I got around to replacing them, the shocks were worn out. The best shocks I've had for this truck, by far, were the Rancho 5000s, but it looks like they're no longer available for the platform. The Bilsteins aren't horrible, but I wouldn't recommend spending the money on them if you don't plan on taking the truck off road.
