    You’re so on-point. I’m a serial procrastinator who then gets totally overwhelmed by housework, so I do a room a day ie Monday - kitchen; Tuesday - bedroom; Wednesday - lounge etc and then slot ‘tasks’ like food shopping when I’m going out anyway (this saves petrol). You are such a good example!! x

    Great list of suggestions! I’m the person you described - great at planning, fabulous at creating Todo lists, but they seem to only get larger and never smaller. So thank you for ideas to try! I like the last bonus one - I realized I’ve occasionally done that but not with deliberate intention.

    Love these types of videos. It's easy to plan and write down what you need to get done. But executing them is the hard part.

    I appreciate how you apply GTD to your planner - when I read the book (years ago), it seems it applied to paper (which I have a lot of as well). But I struggle to understand how a reference list would work.

    • @MomYePlans
      @MomYePlans  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Thanks so much! ❤️ I agree the reference list part it doesn’t touch on well. For me I just keep a separate area in my planner for reference stuff and more recently have been doing it online since it’s just easier that way!

    Bonus I learned about the 5 min rule earlier this year (in a video about decluttering) and it really does work. It has helped me soo much to just get started. Generally once you begin you go past the 5 minutes. But, It is nice to know that if you want to you can stop.

    Wait … with GTD why do you put things on inbox and then put on categorized list. Can’t you just put task on specific list as it comes into your head? Seems redundant to me.
    Also, a computer category seems outdated. Who does things when they are sitting in front of their computer other than work? I do those types of tasks (banking, email, ordering from Amazon) on my phone anytime. maybe just rename computer time to … digital time ….?

    • @MomYePlans
      @MomYePlans  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yes and yes for both comments! You can do whatever works for you! For GTD I use the inbox when I’m just brainstorming and don’t want to think about breaking out tasks to detailed next actions etc so I leave it in inbox but do what works for you. Same with categories for next actions, there’s no rules, do what works for you!
