Great video. Would love more content on this as yes it is very lucrative and lots of opportunities. Workflow and efficiency is where I struggle in managing the team. We get the job done but are not efficient
For equipment, you forgot flat mops to clean the walls, safety glasses for all the dang dust that flies around, knee pads because of the paint left on the floor, goo gone for the left over adhesive left behind, and diluted vinegar to dissolve all the sheet rock left behind 😢
@@krall3168 that's for sure. I have a love/ hate relationship with post con cleaning exactly for that reason! I love the locations it takes me to and I love new challenges!
@@javiermedina6144 I agree! They're interesting because they're typically a new space you've never seen before. Also, they tend to make me look for new equipment to make the job easier. Just curious, for your insurance what do you tell them you need coverage for? I had to stop using post construction cleaning because no one would insure me. I have to use after construction cleaning now for a quote.
I’ve added post construction due to an old friend who is a builder and has been giving me some business. They seem to have their contractors clean up pretty darn good actually but it’s still so much work! Question for anyone: how are you pricing the job? Currently, I’ve been doing $50/man hour. So, they make great money but I usually need 2 days to get them done when it’s just myself and my husband. I want to hire more help and try and get more of these through other builders but want to know the most accurate way to price them for the future.
I'm a newcomer, and would love to get more insight on post construction cleaning. It's a cleaning service I'm very interested in but definitely on a budget.
I love post construction cleanings and we do A LOT of it. But the biggest challenge we face is keeping our post construction team busy because once you finish a job you’re going to need another. Do you use contractors for this, do you have fixed employees or do you use your office cleaning team to do it?
Great video!
We’d love to hear more about paint removal on floors without damaging them. 😊
This 100% lol!!
Thanks again for your time and knowledge .
Great information .
Much appreciated .
