      That is an excellent suggestion! We will add it to our list. In the meantime, we recommend watching this video where Greg shares some great information about the Pro Team backpack vacuum. He also shares some important tips on how to vacuum a space. th-cam.com/video/vk4SlLFuRwM/w-d-xo.html

  • @ce3547
    @ce3547 2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    I take my micro cloth that's on a stick and go along the baseboards as well. I also either sweep or vaccum the floors before washing them. I'm wondering though how much time do you alot for a 10 room office including washing the floor? I need to know if I'm spending too much time. Do you wash their windows as well?

      After watching your videos and looking up other cleaning services on my area, I realized that I am doing a deep clean up rather than a basic one therefore I havent been allowing enough time or money.

    I know there are daily/weekly cleaning duties that workers will perform, but when it comes to those extra "monthly cleaning" duties like high-dusting and wall-cleaning, do those days just end up being longer cleaning nights? And do you inform the client about the need for those extra-long cleaning nights? And do you have any add on fees for cleaning for a client if they have a company lunch or party and requires extra hours for cleaning? I'm just trying to understand how that works out if they're bid/contract is a flat price...

    • @OctoCleanMedia
      @OctoCleanMedia  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi, Ali! Each of our bids comes with a service schedule that determines what tasks will be performed and those monthly tasks you mentioned are part of that, meaning they are factored into the bid and that is explained to our customers. If there is a special event happening, we make sure that the space looks its best as that is on us, but any additional clean-up after or before that doesn't fall under our scope of work would be an additional charge. It comes down to setting a fair and accurate price from the start so you don't have to charge more for every little thing you know will come up in the future. Here is a link to our service schedules: info.octoclean.com/service-schedule-download

    • @OctoCleanMedia

      Mainly if there were a spill or a customer requested it, but as you can see, there is a lot of furniture that would need to be moved/worked around.

    If you're a solo cleaner do you do the whole office trash, whole office wipe dust, then whole office vacuum. Or do you do everything room by room

    • @OctoCleanMedia
      @OctoCleanMedia  10 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Hi, Micaela! Based on our system, you would do all your starter tasks room by room until you hit every room of the facility. That is trash removal, dusting, wiping surfaces, and interior glass. We recommend doing the bathrooms together, this is sanitor. You'd then finish with all the vacuuming for the facility, checking back on your work as you go to ensure you didn't miss anything. This is called closer. For a step by step look, plus video demos, check out our training cards! shop.octoclean.com/products/team-cleaning-training-cards

      Good catch! In that particular instance, the paper in question wasn't a document, it was a laminated poster for decoration. We avoid touching any documents that may contain sensitive information.

    If it was a company I worked for, the first one would never let Candy Floss do it, it would ask me to clean the dust from the sockets, it would ask me to clean the metal legs of the glass table, it would ask me to clean the back of the computer, it would ask me to clean under the chair and it would ask me to wipe the box, other than what you did.

    Karcher Backpack Vacuums are very poor.
    The best when it comes to backpack Vacs without a doubt is Pro Team. And in a very distant 2nd place would be Nacecare.

    Feather duster is not ideal… expensive and none washable

    • @OctoCleanMedia
      @OctoCleanMedia  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Feather dusters last for years and can be washed. Microfiber dusters work really well too. You'll see us using them in other videos. Those are machine washable and can be used for circumstances where there is more dust like an account that you are just taking on or areas that are dusted on a weekly/monthly basis.
