Excellent, and super fun. Thanks so much for sharing your 1st Acro mode flight. I also have to start flying in Manual mode. To have your batteries last well beyond 100 charging cycles, recommended to land mostly above 20%.
Awesome, please post more!!
I just flew my Avata 2 in manual for the first time the other day. So much fun. Happy flying!
That's awesome! Definitely a lot of fun!
Nice flight 👍🏼👏
Thanks!
The Avata 2 is way more tame than most of the racers and freestyle quads that you pick in simulators.
If I can learn a 105mph Nazghul in a sim I'm hoping I'll be more than prepared for the Avata 2.
Nice Vid
Thanks!
I'm nervous, My sticks come in tomorrow and I need to practice in manual mode. My first 2 flights in Sport mode were already really fun on the Avata 2.
Practice in a sim first or you WILL crash it!
The Avata 2 FPV3 controller works with DRL sim and TrypFPV. I've tried them both with this controller. They are both well under $20 each. DRL is often under $10.
Many people don't understand what they are signing up for with manual mode. Especially coming from DJI products. Please practice in a sim, and get DJI Care
What drone did you use to practice in liftoff ? Is there a way to get Avata 2 drone in liftoff ?
no, just freestyle/racing drones
wow i remember my first flip my heart was like wantinf to go out now i can fly inside children parks with ease 😅
What simulator did you use please
FPV Skydive and CurryKitten. I like Currykitten better.
Nice share. The grading is a bit too heavy
Thanks! Yeah I did go kind of strong on this one lol
Hi, it’s not the best place with trees to learn 😉
What about VLOS? How can you see through the goggles?
Yeah…VLOS… I think much better they cancel this hobby seeing these questions who should not be answered.
@@cipri198zero what do you mean? Legally speaking, you need a spotter when flying with goggles. Also, you need an A1/A3 licence as it is over 250g.
@@foxxo-dev No such thing as a drone licence. I think you mean operators identification as part of the registration process. A1/A3 does not apply in the US as it is an open categorisation used in the European Union and you can fly without a spotter under certain authorisations such as in sterile areas if a member of a national club. It's best not to judge what other people do until you have all the facts in hand and the authority to question. Neither of which you have.
@@silverfox74 Well, the drone is above 250g still, which means you need the Part 107 licence in america.
@@foxxo-dev And? Do you have evidence to prove he has not obtained a part 107 certificate? Again, it is NOT a licence and stop assuming! Not that it has anything to do with you...
Hey is there anyway you can point me in the direction of a video or if you can make a video on how to initiate set up the DJI simulator for the Avata 2. I found videos of people talking how to use it but nobody no one can tell me how to install it on my PC so I can use it with the goggles I have the avada too and goggles 3 with controller 3.
there is no simulator included. you have to download a simulator of your choice.
They discontinued support for the DJI sim. I used FPV Skydive and CurryKitten, and Curry Kitten was much better.
@@flyingfilmmaker okay now I know why I couldn't get it to work so does your choice of simulator allow you to use the DJI goggles 3 and controller 3? or do you use the monitor on your PC?
@@flyingfilmmakerI use DRL from Steam, not sure if I did the right choice using this simulator… not sure which one is best for fpv begginers ( I do fly other drones so for me probably something more advanced would be better to skip the boring part ). DRL is boring asf on first few training missions and I dont have yet the controller - its on the way - and I do not recommend using PS5/Xbox controller, its a bad ideea!
