Sir these are western narratives that vitamin B12 source is very limited in vegetarians. 3 months back my B12 was dangerously low because of H Pylori infection and heavy menstrual bleeding. Doctor had told me to take injections but I decided to take through food. All Harvard and other American research paper say dairy products have 3 times the vitamin B 12 than meat. My diet included milk, yogurt, paneer, butter , ate loads of ghee which has four types of vitamins and equal proportion of omega 3 and omega 6 , also helps in obsorption of nutrients, cuts bad fat or cholesterol ,leafy vegetables ( folate or B complex), all nuts cashews, raisins, almonds, figs, pistachios, khajoor, pumpkin seeds, melon seeds, flax seeds, sesame seeds, chia seeds, sunflower seeds, hemp all rich in B 12. I used to soak in hot milk, then make a milk shake adding banana or apple. All root or fiber rich vegetables also known as Prebiotic or complex carbohydrates beet root, sweet potato, taro root, yam, purple yam, pumpkin, white pumpkin, raw jackfruit, raw banana all are rich in B 12. I used to make curry from it each day, probiotic like rice gruel or barley gruel also rich in B12. I used to make gruel in 1:6 ratio ferment it for 3 days then drink that water . which has millions of good microorganisms required by gut. All whole grains are rich in B 12 I used to make millet idli or dosa or ate millet kanji or millet Ambali. Ate dry fruit Ladoo, methi Ladoo, amaranth Ladoo, buckwheat Ladoo, water chestnut or singoda Ladoo. Added 2 tbsp of vasana kanthoda powder, it has 32 types of vitamins or herbs Drank grape juice ,pomegranate juice . Ate all types of fruits. I was in this diet for 2 months. When doctor did blood test to check my vitamin B12 deficiency, all three tests were normal. Hope this helps, Thank you

For vegetarians all legumes, lentils sprouts are rich in protein. Urad dal has 25% protein equal to meat for vegetarians. Do not give too much importance to protein. Our body doesn’t need so much of protein. Poly unsaturated fat ( ghee or healthy fat) and fiber is a must in our diet .

If it is caused by bacterial infection eat kantola or spine gourd it will kill any intestinal worms. I was infected with H Pyori, I ate this it killed all of them. I cancelled my endoscopy and didn’t take any antibiotics. Also try tindoora. According to Ayurveda tindoora also kills intestinal worms. I haven’t tried this. Eat lot of probiotic like buttermilk, rice gruel, barley gruel. Prebiotic or fiber rich vegetables on which good bacteria feeds on. This will keep your gut healthy. For vegetarians all legumes, lentils sprouts are rich in protein. Urad dal has 25% protein equal to meat for vegetarians. Do not give too much importance to protein. Our body doesn’t need so much of protein. Poly unsaturated fat ( ghee or healthy fat) and fiber is a must in our diet .

Plant proteins are not easily absorbed by our bodies due to presence of antinutrients like Oxalic acids, Phytic Acids, Lectins etc in plants.

I am suffering from Intestinal Collitis . Treatment has been going on since a year but a little improvement . Please tell me about some home remedies.
If it is caused by bacterial infection eat kantola or spine gourd it will kill any intestinal worms. I was infected with H Pyori, I ate this it killed all of them. I cancelled my endoscopy and didn’t take any antibiotics. Also try tindoora. According to Ayurveda tindoora also kills intestinal worms. I haven’t tried this. Eat lot of probiotic like buttermilk, rice gruel, barley gruel. Prebiotic or fiber rich vegetables on which good bacteria feeds on. This will keep your gut healthy. Do not take antibiotics it will take away your immunity or B 12. Go for herbal Ayurvedic treatment. Hope this helps.
