- Day 2 of our German auto odyssey! Vin’s gotta drive 7 hours away from the awesome Motorworld Hotel to check on a BMW E30 316i wagon he has his eye on, but Scotto got hit with the Carcaine BAD and needs to chase the holy grail of headlights: a pair Votex dual rounds. Will this grand detour throw off everyone’s budget when rare Volkswagens pop up? And when will we have time for SNACKS?

@FCP Euro Just got an awesome new Odyssey battery for my 2008 BMW 328xi 6MT and now that goes on the list which includes water pump, thermostat, wiper blades, brake rotors, brake pads, blower motor, alternator, idler pully, serpentine belt, coils, plugs, cabin air filter, air filter, and a bunch of other consumables that I will never have to buy ever again! I never return my oil cuz that just seems messy but appreciate the option lol. HUGE THANK YOU FCP Euro!!!! Also, you guys are like 45 minutes from my house so everything I order shows up the next day. In the words of Scotto "that seems like a horrible business model" but in reality it's what makes it literally the BEST COMPANY EVER!!!
Same, when it gets here let the public know how much lol I have the s52 ready to go in... will look good next to my e36 techno violet m3

After the test drive when Vin said he bought it the German guy in the background said „das war einfach“ which means „that was easy“ 😄 he probably fell in love too quick!

As a former e30 owner, I've always loved these cars. That's a really nice one too. So far so good with these pics. Can't wait to see what Ron chose.

A friend of mine sadly crashed his E30 wagon , had the exact same color... 😭 I didn't know it was that rare.
I always looked up to Vin and loved his cars and what he does to them. As an E30 Touring owner I am very glad to see my favorite dude from Hoonigan buy the car I own too! ✌️🚗

I’m a massive fan of e30 touring and that is incredibly rare especially with that interior, please keep this original as you can

I love how Scotto buys based on something being interesting and neat. Then Vin is all serious and expects a perfect used car for cheap. And, it’s Vin that ended up with a high mileage 911 that was nearly junk.
He got burned to shit on that Porsche no wonder he is more picky now .

Those MK2 golf are great, had one just like that and i miss it alot!
I still got one the starter died in it I left it sit for two years got bored put another starter in it fired it up and have been daily in it for months now without an issue and without an oil change

I've had three E30 Tourings in my life, they've got amazing lines. This design edition was a steal!
Had a talk with Vin like a year ago and showed him pictures of the daytona violet design edition touring i imported from germany when he was interested in buying my z3m coupe. I guess the idea of a touring stuck in his mind this whole time lmfao.

This bro-trip is incredible! its nice to see my favorite yanks on YT get down and dirty with the euro madness, as someone who has hooned through Deutschland myself on my hayabusa at 150mph+ their driving etiquette is on point. The Germans as people are some of the nicest people ever and have a real love for all things automotive and the beer and food is top notch. Cant wait for the next episode! (also the german prison joke on the previous episode had me rolling lol) big up Vin for buying an estate, good man
German food looks so good , it is legit just pork and goodness and i want some so bad , despite being american my family mostly eat chicken cuz its the healthiest MEAT around

That E30 touring is such a beauty, with that purple color, that bmw wheels, that interior. Can't get any better for an E30!
fun fact: "Leberkäse" means "Liver Cheese". I know, don't think about it too hard, there's usually neither cheese nor liver in it. Hot dog meat or spam is probably the closest equivalent, it's just a big loaf of very finely ground meat, baked and sliced fairly thick, I usually eat it pan fried with some parsley béchamel and potatoes. 👍

E30 wagon.. in Techno Violet?! You jammy gits! I had a 325i Touring in white for several years before having to sell up.
That said, now rocking a E46 330i Touring with KW's and a ton of other work done now. Once you go touring. it's hard not to stop.
No idea what a Jammy Git is, but we're calling Suppy that from now on.
@@TheHoonigans Basically someone who's got some unusual luck all of the time, Techno Violet is super rare to find even in E36 form.
Still, if you're planning on swapping the engine out, do a M52 / M54 stroker! Bolt in, and easily 260bhp with decent torque. Just had my 330i's engine rebuilt and it's proving quite the spicy customer.
"Sometimes it's not about the cars you buy, but the cars you don't." There's been a 911 I passed on a little over a year ago that I think about daily. Every single day I regret passing it up. Not any 911, but that one.

I had one of the.last E30 touring in the UK same a 316i lux L323PSL ...they.made them until 94 two years after the E36 loved that car..despite being underpowered you could drive it at full chat everywhere and not worry about leaving the road backwards 👍👍👍😁😁😁

I'm from germany and I'm looking forward to buy an e30 touring, I looked them up on craigslist for like the past six months and I swear I saw that car and thought damn that's a nice one but only 1.6 and know I see it again in your video. That's funny, congrats to the nice car!

I saw this video and started looking. I found a violet '94 316i touring design edition with 44k miles. I bought it off an old lady and shipped it back to Chicago. Arrives in three days. Thanks for pushing me to get a e30 touring, and for getting one in the best color!

A friend of mine had one of the last E30 320 touring wagon. In the fabulous Daytona Violett as well.
But with a special exterior. Nowdays you would call it a M-package. But once it was special for only a bunch of E30s.
And this car was amazing. We all loved it so much!

I live like 40 minutes from FCP so everything I buy for my 328 shows up the next day. Literally the best company ever. I also have a an old Jeep Cherokee that I put nothing but Chinese crap parts on but my BMW only gets OE from FCP because you only have to buy something once and done. Like, I'm going to get some free new wiper blades for my BMW next week cuz mine are 2 years old now. It's amazing how much free consumables you can get as long as you plan on keeping the car for a long time.

I've got a E30 316 wagon, too. At the moment my 78 yaer old mom is driving it till she gets her new car and she loves it. It's in this FADING AWAY 1993 red and will be probably for sale soon, but I'm not sure, it fits good to my E30 convertible and my other car...E30s drive and look simply great! Congrats guys! Absolutly f...n love this series!

Food and beer is awesome in Germany. I have done 3 motorcycle tours in There. Last trip i did with my H-D Nightster. About 2700+ km trip and had zero issues.

"History of sausage:" You might can maybe air cure meat and possibly preserve it for later without refrigeration. Or, it's winter and you can hang it in the barn with no problems. Either way, from China to modern UK, sausages are a great way to utilize salt, fat, and small scraps of meat in an economical way that turns out to actually be a delicious staple of the medieval to modern poor. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.

that tee scotto is wearing with the flags is sick!!!!! make it easier for us in the uk to get merch! i got stung with a nice tax from a daily transmission tee which ended up being £38. i got a nice license plate holder though so kinda worth it! not that it fits any uk cars haha
that e30 is gorgeous! i have only seen one e30 wagon in original daytona violet in norway, and regular base models without the sport seats and colour go for about 8k here. maan wish i had this one and not my black one!!!
