Kenyatta, Ruto campaign in Kisumu

President Uhuru Kenyatta and his deputy William Ruto today took Jubilee party campaigns to a mixed reception in opposition leader Raila Odinga’s political bedrock of Nyanza. The DP particularly found the tours of Kisumu and Homa Bay counties hostile after sections of the crowds heckled him.
The climax of the presidency visit was the re-opening of the East African Breweries production plant in Kisumu.
