President Kenyatta's Speech

Immediately after he was sworn in, President Uhuru Kenyatta delivered his inaugural speech which outlined his presidency's short, medium and long-term agenda. Apart from extending an olive branch his rivals in the just concluded president race, President Kenyatta assured Kenyans that within the first 100 days of his tenure the government will abolish maternity fees in all public health facilities.
