President Uhuru Kenyatta takes re-election campaign to Eastern region

President Uhuru Kenyatta now wants the county government of Meru and the Nyambene Miraa Association to allow for the implementation of a taskforce report that seeks to market Miraa as well develop the sector as a whole.
Speaking while on a campaign trail in Meru County, the head of state maintained that the report provided an elaborate strategy of enhancing Miraa production besides uplifting the standards of living for the farmers there.
