    FAQs??
    -How many squares do I need for a baby blanket?
    This can vary, it really can be however big or small you like, but i generally do 4x4 or 5x5.
    This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
    -How many chains shall I do for a *single/double/etc' blanket?
    Again, this can vary. I would suggest that you do your chain and lay it down agains the bed you are wanting it for. It should be the same width. You should then ad a few more to make it a little wider.
    This blog post might be useful: bit.ly/1UIobie
    -How much yarn do I need?
    Unfortunately, I will not be able to answer individuals questions about how much yarn you would used do to multiple factors affecting it. Such as, your tension, the size of hook and the yarn being used.
    -What equipment do you use?
    Camera: amzn.to/2jkNDl2
    Tripod: amzn.to/2w4ReK8

    This is a lovely simple stitch but varying the colours gives such an effective result. A lovely break between more complicated stitches.

    hey Bella, your tutorials are so easy and helpful :) I'm making a baby blanket with this pattern. I wanted to know if we have to start from the second loop each time or is it just for the first time. my edges are wavy and I can't figure out the reason

      Hi Bella, I also had this problem, at first, when learning this stitch. After the first row of HDC, all subsequent rows will start on the very first stitch. I also watch her video very closely and she did that as well. At the end of the row, make sure to not make a stitch into the turning chains. Consistency is the key.

    Great explanation, but I started with 70 sets, having chained 72. It went to 70, as it should but then I found it was 68, then 66. What was I doing wrong? Thanks.

    • @bellacococrochet
      @bellacococrochet  2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      If you have less stitches each time then you are missing out a stitch somewhere along the row - it might help to crochet a small sample piece at first so that you can count out the stitches each row and make sure you're working into each one, and then when you are used to the pattern you can work a full sized piece 😊

    • @dianeharcourt9518
      @dianeharcourt9518 2 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@bellacococrochet thank you for your reply. I think I need to work two stitches from the chain at the end of the row as this seems to work and one is missed at the start of the row because the ‘chain 2’ counts as the first leg or stitch. This didn’t arise in the tension square as it was in dc! I am counting every row at the moment, which is a bit laborious but will get easier to see once the pattern starts (a row of black cats). The instructions for changing colour are very clear so I am hopeful.
