    Trying the new Logic 11 Piano, Bass, Drums for the first time. First Impressions on Logic 11, Chromaglow, and Session Musicians. Stem Splitting was mid, didn't mention in video.
    Apple needs to make more PRO features for Logic Pro. But this could save time for making demos. Could use as placeholders during the recording process too for a more fun experience.

    till you put all these parameters a session musician will record 30 times fastr a piano line that is unique and has a real human touch

    • @DIDCHOI
      @DIDCHOI  17 วันที่ผ่านมา +1

      Exactly! If you can’t play bass or have a bass player for example, it’s a good substitute. But for me, just playing it in will be so much faster

      @@DIDCHOI or just to have another perspective because you don’t have the creativity or the bass part for a bass player to play on the track

    I dont understand. can this session player add to an already made melody? Or do I always have to start with its suggestions? If it does not add to my melodies chords that make sense then this feature is idiocy.

    • @DIDCHOI

      They play to the chords you input. It does have some AI "following" tools where if you set an audio file as a reference, it'll analyze the rhythms and mirror that feel. Session players don't generally play the melody anyways. If you want specific lines, counterlines, etc, you should do that manually, or use a real player which is obviously more ideal.

    Thanks. As expected the auto parts (it isn't AI) don't relate to the leads (the music's story). So it all sounds random and chaotic.

    • @DIDCHOI
      @DIDCHOI  29 วันที่ผ่านมา

      It is AI driven. I didn't stretch the functionality that much, but there is more computation than the previous drummer for example

      @@DIDCHOI I just don't think any of this is in any way intelligent - Weak AI at best - more pattern regurgitation. It is the marketing buzzword tho so... The algo simply can't understand context. AI pics have too many fingers and keyboards never have proper octaves because the algo has no idea why I want to hold someone's hand or rock and roll all night.
      I appreciated you showing where the software was at tho so again thanks :-)
