Wow, nice to know that you actually know some filipino folks out there... Yes most of us want to sing but what can you say about the food? hahaha. It's not a fFlipino party when there is not enough food. They would also most probably pack some for you to take home with you. Singing for us is a form of a recreation, it doesn't regally matter how good or bad you are specially just during a Karaoke session. Not everyone can sing so beautifully but everyone would want to sing even though sometime they are just shy but deep inside they really want to hold that mic and sing... hahaha. BUT with a little help of alcohol everyone will eventually get that courage and sometimes some of those shy people actually have a good singing voice... you will never know....
In the Philippines a lot great voices their I have no idea why but this is true specially in singing contest because you get a price if you are 1st runner up or 2nd runner up

Instead of thinking stress problem its better to go on party like this guys doing karaoke sessions to boost our moral and self confidence!
