I was going to comment on what bikes I would bid on but there were far to many! I'm surprised there wasn't more bmws.... They really float my boat. I would leave the Ducati etc, like you say it's one thing admiring but owning, I'm not so sure. It's good to enjoy this with your kids, she has good taste.
Thanks Noob and the Ilford Stig for showing us around this varied and interesting collection of bikes up for auction, there were many tempting classics amongst them. Many of them I remember from my youth, many more were well before my time. Dave seems to be a font of all knowledge when it comes to scooters, which may come in very handy when you find yourself one from 1972. I'm glad times have moved on and there isn't the disparity and rivalry between scooter riders and motorcyclists, we're all fans of two wheels when it boils down to it. My favourites were a Triumph amongst the scramblers which you didn't give much attention to and a Yamaha XSR 1300 or possibly an 1100 which you skipped by.
There are enough powered two wheelers to tickle the fancy if anyone. What caught my eye is very different from what might catch yours. I'm just glad such places and events exist. I'm definitely thinking about the possibility of a 1972 scooter 🛵...
It's a good job I'm not loaded, I would've bought the lot and had a private collection. Imagine being able to ride any of those bikes any time you wanted. Lovely vid Noobs, thanks for taking us round with you.
Thanks for joining us! We had a really enjoyable time even though I caught (and fixed, with Nigel's expert help!) my first ever puncture. That puncture will feature in future videos...
Some really interesting machines and vintage aircraft, Noob. Bikes produced in the 50's and 60's are my cup of tea. I passed my bike test on a 1959 Lambretta LD150. It also taught me on many occasions how to properly fall off a bike. Did Exeter Rider lend you his Cyprus acquired sun hat?
@@jimsadler8704 hahaha no, this hat (which I was wearing backwards) has been mine for years. It keeps my bald head from getting sunburned and I just kept it on indoors. I'm hankering after a classic scooter 🛵 now...
We love looking around auction bikes. The couple of auctions we've done it's been interesting to see many bikes not achieving their published value. Some go for much less some go unsold. I wonder bottom will fall out the classic bike market as the older motorcycle enthusiasts pass on?? Thanks for the look around
It was watching your vídeos of those events that inspired me to try this! Thanks for watching and supporting the channel. Lots to learn and improve upon, I think. The quality from the Insta can be very variable depending on lighting. I didn't get a chance to find out how the auction we went as that was on a separate day. I've started hankering after a classic scooter 🛵😱 but I have no money right now
@@NooBiker Honestly with video quality looking at bike detail, it's difficult to beat a high def single lens camera, set to non wide, that you can crop in on without losing quality. The 360 is brilliant in lots of ways but I don't think it's at it's best indoors with it's slightly distorting affect noticeable at doorways and straight lines. Lots of bikes I would like but with retirement around the corner I'm trying not to buy stuff that goes down in value 😉😉
@@kimetogo it was an absolute pleasure to make this video, thanks for watching. I'm not sure which bike you're referring to, but I'm finding myself on Auto Trader searching for vintage scooters 😱🤣
The color of that Indian was really nice. Like someone dropped a lemon in the paint. / I thought the scooter seat had a coccyx hole, like some touring bike saddles 😅
I still think it's for haemorrhoids relief 🤣🤣 The Indian colour is like a "faded white" or cream colour. I think the Guzz Airone paint scheme was wonderful. Almost as nice as the Honda Four outside 🤩
Yes, buddy. Very enjoyable. Despite this being the day when I picked up a puncture on the Road 6 ... I thought I'd fixed it with the sticky string so didn't go for a mushroom patch and that caught up with me in France as you'll see...
Make sure you keep The Ilford Stig away from Hardly Movingsons and probably away from Ducati's as well unless she just wants to look at them and not ride them. I can't believe you are youngerer than me😮 😂

Thank you so much 👍
