The stock you've got there is unbelievable! And Dave said 100-150 calls offering vehicles to auction A DAY!! A DAY!! Cannot believe that. It does beg the question what is the ACTUAL percentage sold rate. By that I mean how many do not get sold. But by whatever measure it's an absolute goldmine with publicity to boot. Well done you guys. Even if Derek fell into it by mistake, I bet he's loving it now. Brilliant.
The seagull outboard is an earlier model called 102, if it has a copper or brass cover on top of the flywheel instead of the usual aluminium it was manufactured forcthe MOD during ww2.
@@smyrkie Is that really the answer? They used to have an absolutely packed village hall in Thornton le Dale - surely a busier place than the units at Pickering. That did not seem to be a problem. I agree with @user-me3by4in9o; I too have never understood why they no longer hold auctions with buyers present. Makes no sense to me. Perhaps the publicity with Bangers and Cash means they can solely rely on online, but it seems a shame to me. I preferred B&C when there were live auctions in the village hall. The whole things got stale now anyway. It was a great success but its starting to wear thin with me and I no longer make certain not to miss it.
I’m afraid you have become “a Typical” commentator on Vintage , always putting them down and depressing the market , I afraid that I will Not be subscribing to your channel again , and will not we watching Again !! 😡😡😡😡
Your comments about that lovely little Austin 7 were very derogatory, “ No Clutch, No Brakes , No Steering, !! It’s people like you who are depressing the Vintage vehicle market, you should be ashamed of yourself !!😡😡
Mr Mathewson senior has never made a secret of not liking Austin 7s. But I must admit there is a sense of arrogance about them since the success of B&C - especially Dave who I have grown not to like. Paul and Charlie are lovely and it's a shame we do not see more of them both on You Tube and on B&C. Often there are videos about Jack's rallying but never anything (excepting one tiny short once) about Charlie who I think won a junior championship last year. Why does he not get a look in and why no mention on B&C.
Great video guy's, really interesting.
When I saw the boat, all I thought was. "Now lets take a look at what you could have won."
😂😂😂😂
Love the TR8
Would love to see an Austin Vanden Plas Princess R review.
Opel Kadette estate, I bet Hammond’s buying it
I remember seeing Jon Pertwee having a Fiat X-19. There were some pictures of him in one in the Reading Evening Post.
could always spot the undercover transits ,how many work vans had tinted back windows .so if you saw one you get someone to go and have a look at it.
Wow, what a fantastic business, keep it up.
Great video again fellas and a lot of nice motor's for auction 😊❤

There's something for everyone

Morcombe & Wise
Senior & Junior 😂😂😂
A TVR with vacant possession, presumably worth a small premium price.
Wish I had a shed load of spare cash. Could go mad in that car shed 😩☺️
Opel Est.= Hammond bound
Why is the auction NOT available on TH-cam while the preview is?? Frustrating
You ignored the Triumph 2000 mk1 and the Vanden Plas 3000/4000 couldn't see which one, shame
re bikes. have you ever had a klr 600
really need someone who knows something about bikes
theres vincent twins and bsa scramblers there that you didnt even mention
Why have people never been able to come to the auction as pre pandemic as every other mass gathering is taking place
They wouldn't have the space on the industrial estate to have everyone there. Even on a random day in the viewing period it is manic there.
