Thankyou for this Grant...Truly amazing....isn't it wonderful to look at the beautiful work man can create instead of all the killing and destruction that man has also created....this really is a peaceful TH-cam channel Grant.Hats off to you Sir!..🙏
Absolutely beautiful cathedral! The builders were certainly master builders in those long ago times. Thank you for bringing tis piece of history to us! As always, be save and take care of yourself and those precious puppies!
This brings back happy memories of the day spent at Gloucester Cathedral! Hope you found a cozy place for tea afterwards. Cathedral towns have so many old teashops.
Fascinating , thank you. I am just one of many British people who live abroad , and we all get homesick for England. Most of us ventured abroad because of our careers, a relationship or both. British history is fascinating , and so much , so well preserved. Not forgetting the countryside and of course the people. Those of us who have lost our family members in Britain , have kind of adopted the Royal Family , as they are always there for us all , and set us such valuable examples. Here in Germany we have regular news and great documentaries on the Family. It kind of helps us keep our identity. Thank you very much for the videos. You put alot of work into it . I also enjoyed Prince Edwards films very much. I hope Britain will continue to work together with Germany , as before the wars, it worked very well. Best wishes from South Baden Württemberg.
Breathtaking! What a wonderful tour of the Cathedral with the history of the Kings and the architecture! Not enough words to describe this magnificence. Lavatorium, I do love that word! Thank you for this adventure!
Thank you for taking us all here. It is almost impossible to imagine what it took to (and continues to require to maintain) create such a beautiful place...
I enjoyed learning the history. Your filming conveys such a feeling of airiness inside, such that you'd want to linger there, and soak in all the details, and then saunter around outside to view it against a wide open sky. Thank you for sharing a look.
That was beautiful, thank you. The Cathedral is very graceful with the carved stonework and those stained glass panels are really lovely. During our past visits to the UK we have driven past the turn off to Gloucester so many times, in my minds eye I still see the motorway signs for Gloucester and the Cathedral. But we were always on our way to visit family in North Wales and time was against us. Now with covid, who knows when anyone will be able to travel, so thank you for this video. Two of my favourites are York Minster and Exeter Cathedral and I must add the tiny Church of St Nicholas in Moreton, I think - no coloured window panels, just plain glass etched with the theme of light and history of the village. Rambling now, must stop but a happy weekend to everyone.
What a beauty! A genuine medieval jewel.. ❇️💎❇️ I'm very grateful for this adorable educational tour! It's really worth to be seen with own eyes .. 👀👀 I have to say i'm always fascinated your soundtrack choices.. And sorry, but if i may... When the dear Royal Butler talking and showing monks area and mentioning lavatorium (washing room) - it's seen a littlebit earlier at 02:05. I'm really sorry, but just maybe someone is interested.. Thank you, Sir!! As always.. 🌹😌

Amazed and awed how the carvings throughout came to be with nothing more than human hands!!
So, you're rejecting the aliens built everything theory? lol

I love old churches. I like looking at the architectural fine work and its history. Has this church ever been restored??
Gorgeous. Thank you.
Wow! Maybe one day...
So detailed. How much skill went into this building?! Fascinating background story too.
Have you seen The Cambridges this week? 😃

So, I guess this bit of Latin has nothing to do with a theater for lava...? :-]
