Difference between me and him: I would just record all the hard shit at .80 speed and smash it out in half an hour. I respect Nick's path of righteousness.
Hahah its so true. "The red button effect" is a nightmare haha. I practice a riff over and over get it and then hit record and then suddenly i forget how to play guitar haha
Knew the new studio would bring out some insane creativity. This riff is one of the grooviest ones you've written in my opinion. Very Toska and early Dorje sounding but with your modern prog style. Absolutely killer as always!
Since I discovered your channel last thursday, a week ago, I've been binging your videos and learning a ton. I love your work flow. It doesn't hurt that the riffs are thick either. Keep up the great work man!
You are oozing with talent. Would totally listen to theseminstrumental tracks, make an album already. Your channel is under rated, you will blow up, pretty sure of it. Keep well
I bought my first pedalboard with amp simulation (Line6 Amplifi FX100) in 2015 and sold all my pedals and amps. Then, I invested in the Line 6 Helix Rack with a MIDI controller and two pedals (volume and expression). Eventually, I got the Helix Native and decided to sell the Rack after getting a Mac M1 and a BabyFace Pro audio interface. It seemed like a good decision at the time. Since 2020, I've only been using my guitar and the plugin, but I've lost the joy of building tones. Now, I’m ready to say "screw quality and modern tech." I'm going back to analog, but I'll use a load box instead of mics for recording. I'll keep using digital for mixing plugins. At the end of the day, it’s about feeling good and happy! Your video solidified my decision! Cheers, Sepith (9th Cult)
This riff is so sick! Definitely one of my favorites you have done! New Studio is looking great! What do you have in the rack that the orange was on top of?
Dunno if someone ever asked you, but you seem to lead with your left hand. Do you happen to be left handed? Anyways, as always, sounds sick, great riffs! Cheers from France! (even though I'm in Madeira, Portugal atm (small flex 😅))
Go to Office Depot or a store like that and they have all kinds of chairs where the arms fold up. Pretty pricey tho. I just take the arms off my gaming chairs so never in the way of playing guitar but something like this would be nice
Your new studio is quite similar to the old one, yet it seems cozier in a way. You did a great job with the place!
My favorite part was the beginning of video when it's daylight, then on the 52 takes its suddenly nighttime
.
💀
thats exactly when I noticed it to 🤣

I could never keep my laptop running that long, but if I could I probably would be able to relate 😭
7:34 And here we see a prime example of Red Light Syndrome. Don't worry, brother. It happens to all of us. You're not alone.
The record button is really a dementia button we all know this (hours and hours of recording hell inevitably ensue)
Hahah its so true. "The red button effect" is a nightmare haha. I practice a riff over and over get it and then hit record and then suddenly i forget how to play guitar haha
It’s like the men in black neuralyzer 😂
That's 1000 times true 😂 😂 whn i play without recording it always sounds killer but when i hit recording button 🔳 damn i fuck up 😂 😂.
Love that window view, Awesome looking studio!
Really got the old-school Polaris vibes in this one🙌🏼 One of your grooviest for sure🙏🙏

Thanks so much man! So glad you’ve been enjoying the videos!
This riff is damn groovy, never missing episodes cause' they are really inspiring. Thanks for no skipping
I love it when I also see someone who goes through almost 60 takes of one thing and then immediately gets the bass lines in less than 5 takes.
Nick, that’s for existing. This riff is fantastic, clean and groovy.
You are oozing with talent. Would totally listen to theseminstrumental tracks, make an album already. Your channel is under rated, you will blow up, pretty sure of it. Keep well

Honestly, using different types of gear can be super inspiring! If you’re using all the same stuff all the time, it can start to feel kinda stale!
Love this bro
This reminds me of the new job for a cowboy sm and it’s so good dude 😩
New studio is looking great man
thick studio, even thicker riff 😎
Awesome Mark Tremonti vibe!! 🔥
The new studio ❤❤❤🎉🎉🎉
Can’t wait to see the breakdown of the “New Stu”
“The New Stew” 😂
This riff reminds me of Bleed From Within, that’s so sick
The ending quick riff needs to be extended into a tech breakdown using that run!!
I was thinking the same thing!!
That record button is evil sometimes man 😂
Congrats on the new stu.

This riff is so sick! Definitely one of my favorites you have done! New
Studio is looking great! What do you have in the rack that the orange was on top of?
Thanks! I’ve got a couple warm audio pieces, a WA73 and a WA76 as well as an Apollo x6
sinister tone brother
Symphony X for sure on that part, but overall sounds just like Jeff Loomis' style!

Dunno if someone ever asked you, but you seem to lead with your left hand. Do you happen to be left handed?
Anyways, as always, sounds sick, great riffs!

DREAM STUDIO
Hahaha I black out too when I hit record.
Bro this sounds like a Rabea riff
yooo the new studio is sick!!!!!!!!
7:35 same
This was a lot of fun! What was your signal path on the last Dark Terror video where you used your 8 strings?
Orange > OG Torpedo Captor > Interface
Big Rabea vibes
lol enjoyed! This riff needs to go the distance.
That riff is sick asf. I feel like it reminds me of something but i cant figure out what it is lol
Perhaps Job for a Cowboy?
Left angle camera, I feel uneasy :S
What chair is that? I want arm rests on my chair but they get in the way of recording so that looks amazing 😭

Is that one shelf on the left crooked or are my eyes just tricking me?
take 56 was pretty good
thank
tell me why i tried to command S while looking at Nicks DAW
Does anybody make music like this? I need band names and full length songs in ths style
Hmmmm, you sure about that shade of white?
Don’t let my wife see this comment. She actually wanted me to repaint a 3rd time
@@nickbroomhallmusic haha honestly it looks great tho.
idk why ive always thought the drums are always to loud in his recent mixes
i have the micro dark. just as solid and half the price. Mf is explosively load
I’ve only heard good things about the micro dark!
bruh
noo more e kit ?
I’ll get back to using it soon, just had to finish setting up the new studio
9:02 my only suggestion is ALWAYS play guitar on classical position, your body will be thankful for that
Ok boomer
love the videos when you
play real bass
How do you already know I'm playing real bass I posted this 19 seconds ago 😭
