And yes, absolutely, please give us more expansion and refining of your existing ideas! I’ve really been wanting to grow more as a composer in the sense of taking existing ideas and refining them together, so watching you walk through that process would absolutely be a huge benefit!
Thick Riff Thursday is the best day!
Tutorial Tuesday.... Absogoddamnlutely
That would be amazing! Everyone like this comment ⬆️ if you approve of this message 🤟😝🎸
Tutorial? That’s most of the reason I’m here! I have learned sooo much about songwriting and logic through TRT. Pitch shifting the bass? Didn’t know that was a thing. These little things have helped me tremendously.
Yes please!!!
@@adammotter7430so true!
More like finish song Fridays
Yes! Full songs, and tutorial Tuesday guitar processing!
Babe wake up TRT dropped
😴
I absolutely love that we are getting to see more of your routing process, especially with the way that you’re splitting the bass send. I’ve actually been doing a lot of this as well, having the instrument, be a no output, and then navigating it with automation in the sense. I know it’s a nerdy little detail, but it was really encouraging to see something. I’ve been been doing organically be some thing that also made sense to you in this process. Keep up the great work dude!
Yeeeeah full songss!!
Yes and in depth tutorial for guitar and drums
I 2nd this
Yeah man, a tutorial about guitar editing would be sooo useful! Thanks!
first thing I do now every Thursday is check for new Thick Riff. Keep up the great work Nick. you are amazing bro
How do you manage to put out content so consistently? I've been trying to start a music channel (not this one) for over a year now and every time I sit down and try to film a video I end up hating everything I write, crying because I feel like an impostor and deleting the footage 😭
Love this series both for the riffs and for the look into the creative process
I have kept on thinking about how good this project was when you did it a few weeks ago and I'm so glad you revisited it, Keep up the thick riffage
Honestly out of everything I watch on TH-cam this has to be the absolute best channel and series. Thicccc riff Thursdays make my Thursdays that much better.
at 1:42 i thought he was just gonna say “i had a breakdown” lol
The best way to end a thursday is to watch this and eat some good food!
That Riff.....Was FACE MELTING GAWWWWD DAAAAAAMN, i stg nearly fell out of my chair!
So can we listen to the full song?
I would commit GREAT ATROCITIES to this riff, with that being said yes full song pls 👉👈🥺
Would love an in-depth video tutorial on guitar edits! I love your videos man. I've learned quite a bit since I first started watching your videos.
Hey Bro! Did u noticed all that midi bases sound fake when u going up? For example above 9th fret or just on first 3 strings?
It's sounds unnatural to me like synth.
I'd love a tutorial on how to bus drums so I can give them different EQ's on the kick and snare etc, without running multiple instances of my drum plugin.
Man I’m so glad I discovered your channel, I was in a rut with my guitar playing (even though I’ve only been at it for 3 years so far) and every Thursday I’m just as excited to play as I was when I first started
What I wanna know the most is how you seemingly get the most crushing, brutal, and "clean sounding" (not actual cleans) tones from just the stock archetype plugins
I have a high-end Schechter with active emg pickups and my tones just don't sound as good as yours.
So hyped for your new Monuments song John Browne!
I was about to say this is very close to the opening riff in regenerate lol
This isn't dance music. When the breakdown was "weird and confusing" ( aka off time and unpredictable ), it was more interesting.
That electronic drum kit you have.. do you like it? Do you have any complaints about it? Im looking into getting one. Does it real velocity hits well? I'd obviously be using GGD through it.
I would love to see a full mix theory video on how you mix/edit your guitars. I record every single day and have watched dozens of different videos on mixing guitars and mixing master tracks, but I'm just not getting that ugly chunky goodness I'm looking for. Please show us your ways 🥲
please go back and finish some of the old riffs. also, this is an absolutely sick riff, kinda reminds me oarcane roots' breakdowns which are very catch 33 meshuggah inspired themselves
I think it’d be healthier for you to focus on some of these until completion. I start projects and neglect them, and its not making me any better of a writer/guitarist/producer.
Tutorial Tuesday, please? (Where’s your Logic Pro masterclass?! 🥲)
I would love a full in-depth tutorial of how you edit your guitars, yes. Sounds amazing.
I think keeping a good mix depending on how you feel. I do worry a similar way when writing where I'll start a bunch of things and then when I have ideas to back and expand on something from before
Hi nick - cool videos and tunes , weird about the plugin opening up , I have the most recent version of logic and don’t have that problem, are you using option to copy the plugins over ?
Please please please do the guitar editing tutorial. It seems so difficult to do in logic. I'd also love to see how you mix the PV kit because I can't get my toms to sound how I want.
I felt so inspired by your gotta go fast song, that I recorded some vocals on it. Would love to send you what I did. I will send it to your IG dm
So Djenty like.
Just me, or is he playing this in 3/4? And the click is in 4/4? 🤔🤷♂️
Hello Nick.... Yes a video with you editing guitars please....
Could you do a tutorial on your whole mixing console? Like how you bus each instrument out, etc.
Please give us a couple tutorials on editing!!! PLEASEEEEE
Try not to >:c
I know you’re a Logic guy but I pay serious cash to get your templates for Reaper 😭
Dude a tutorial video on editing guitars would be sick and much appreciated!
Can you use that Bass Bus technique on real bass as well? Tried and the DI sound still leaks through
I would love the clean song you wrote awhile back. Haha
Would like to see your editing guitar tracks tutorial.
Thanks for the content!
Yes, I would love a breakdown of your guitar editing process, please! Also, if it has not already been addressed, I would love to see how you do multiple takes in one pass to comp your tracks. Thanks for your killer content. You're helping me and my band tremendously!
🤘❤️🤘
Also, this is the 1st video that randomly came into my YT feed! I'm so glad I subbed. You're an inspiration and an amazing musician, please more of everything! 🤘❤️🤘
Would u ever make a studio tour ? U come such a long way from manipulator
my guy, I had the same thought about logic and plugins opening when mixing and moving around and found out how to fix - passing along, hope it helps. (Settings - Display - Mixer - Plug-in Window - Uncheck the box that says 'open plugin window on insertion' ) 🤘 @nickbroomhallmusic
Yes. Tutorial on how you edit your guitars.
I'd love to learn more about guitar/bass editing in Logic🤓
Dude, I am stealing that riser idea HARD!!!
What drumset are you playing on? any recommendations?
Inject my veins with more songwriting content, please!
A tutorial on how you edit guitars would be awesome ! 🎸Great vid btw !
Nice! You can put the midi on the track stack and it’ll just send to the tracks in the stack.
Ima binge every episode, quality content bro
Guitar editing tutorial would be insanely helpfull
With your bass processing, do you not want to make them mono sends and busses?
I would love a tutorial Tuesday
I can never get the correct volume for PV kit any tips?
How could you tease that sick chorus and not play the whole thing at the end?
Sounds like Natural Disaster (Tesseract)
PLEASE DO a video on editing guitars
Sick! Would definitely love to see a video on your editing process too
man this was sick. You should get a double pedal!
That bass routing trick you did was gold🙌 great video and love the riff stank face qualified
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed 🤘
What software do you use? I'm on Cubase but for some reason I find that my mind was able to wrap around ProTools a bit better
I think he uses logic Pro
But it's a Mac exclusive
@@ejnova7215 Yea I just hit 10:57 in the video and he mentions logic, Thank you
Bro still hasnt even shouted out Nik Noctournal
This breakdown needs a slower china second half
Yes. Yes please. Yeas please sir. Yes please sir right now.
Full song fridays when???
Yes please on that guitar edit video.
Continuing songs would be great as well!
Finish the song please i really enjoy this!!
Guitar edit tutorial would be incredible!
Bro... You should learn how to thump.
Tutorials would be sick!
I would love to see a guitar editing tutorial!
FIRST :D
FULL SONG FRIDAY!! With special guest, Rebecca black😂
I really like the idea of you writing full length songs, but after it's finished, you can have a "VOCAL CONTEST" to fully complete the song! Hope you dig that idea 🤟
When are we getting a THALL themed thick riff Thursday??
would like full in depth tutorial.
This has a very Elitist vibe to it. sick
work on vocals in the next video
how does one achieve this rhythm tone
I would love a tutorial 😮😮😮😮😮
monuments vibes love it
I wish I had a friend like you
It’s simple. Tutorial Tuesday, Thick Riff Thursday, and of course Finish It Fridays. Maybe not every Friday? Take it, you’re the best!
I feel like I learned more from this video than any other video of yours. Your videos are not always directed at being informative but are on that line of educational/entertaining. But I learn so much watching it is both. If you did a video that was aimed directly at being informative I’d grab a pen and paper and start taking notes. Let the knowledge drop and I’m there!
Inspiring, educational, entertaining, chuggy chuggy riff riff videos. WHODEY!
Thank you so much Nick! Love the series! A lesson on your guitar edits would be great! :)
lol the tone is so unique and nasty.
Tutorials would be EPIC! Especially tips on how you use Logic. Short cuts you use and other recording tips
Nick is a shining example of what every home musician/producer strives to be. Would love to sneak a peek at your process of mixing guitars. Maybe even a riff tutorial on some of your most popular TRT’s! Phenomenal vid as always.
Looking forward to more music. Really inspring stuff!
I've literally just stopped working on a song to go on youtube and this is the first thing that pops up
oh SH#(@T !! ITS THURSDAY HOSS
ABSOLUTELY flex those songwriting muscles for us!! 😏
