Haven't watched the video yet, but I fully support you diving into the Safe corner. It's nice seeing the funkier harmless SCPs, the mysterious ones, or the ones that ARE scary without being super dangerous. Immortal death lizards are cool and all, but the blorbos deserve attention too!
The idea that someone considers telling people that there are bees in a storage room and them responding "Oh, good to know" to be scientifically interesting is so wonderful to me. Dr. Edmunson is living his best life and I'm happy for him.
I'm now very curious to know how bad Edmunson must have fucked up for the Foundation to consider his two year long search for non-existent bees a good use of his time and salary
If you're a fan of safe SCPs I wholeheartedly suggest checking out my personal favourite SCP 4334. It's a state park got pissed off that nobody wanted to go to it.
10:38 I think he mentioned that desisted scp staff members are at the bottom of the elevator because of the unspeakable things they have dose and this implies that if staff continues to do these horrible things, there next to appear in the elevator.
A safe SCP that I like is SCP 5046. Short summary is that it animates whatever it is applied to. The animated objects seem to have a consistant consciousness between them and it takes a liking to a D-class. Later tests raise some questions from the ethics committee
That was a really good one! If it's not too much trouble, would you consider including links in the description to "others scps mentioned" and/or other relevant articles?
A video doing all (or some) SCPs involving a certain character (such as Edmundson) would be really cool! Instead of a theme connecting the SCPs themselves, we could be following a specific character
“What happened to Site 13”, “House Of The Worm” and “Why?” Are all S-Tier in my mind. If you’re ever unsure of stories to read; they’re my top suggestions!
Not a Safe rating recommendation, but my favorite SCP has to be SCP-093 and would love to hear it read if ya'll find it as interesting, it's about discs that cause dimensional travel
A safe scp I would love to have y'all check out is SCP-8000. Not a safe class for this series but another personal favorite of mine is SCP-4006. It's an amusing Thaumiel Class SCP.
I enjoy these SCP thingies a lot but I haven't folllowed them for a long time. The one that always sticks with me was that creepypasta video of the infamous 'stairwell that goes down forever'. Or am I just hallucinating that
Wait... for the last one... that D-class personnel seemed to have survived for a VERY long time. D-72771 shows up in interation 3, as well as TWICE Edmundson's - and then Edmundson implied he'd wait for the D-class to LEARN TO PLAY THE FLUTE. Aren't D-class terminated after 3 weeks?
Greetings from Texas. The accent sounded more like Georgia or Kentucky to me. Texan is twangier. And I thought for sure that guy was going to end up just having tinnitus, especially after he scrapped an experiment because the other guy needed glasses.
1162 is so sad. A baby reality bender made himself a space shuttle out of a cardboard box and accidentally teleported his whole house to Mars. The fact that his powers even made his toy helmet functional so he was alive, alone and starving near his dead parents for days or weeks is just gut wrenching. Rounderhouse is a great writer but a horrible person for this 😢 (Rounderhouse if you're reading this I am joking)
Still haven’t gotten used to American date orders, huh? It’s extra confusing because our most significant cultural date is almost always said in the European fashion; the Fourth of July. Here’s a handy little mnemonic device: “America is a ridiculous place where everything is backwards and awful, so just do whatever makes the least sense and you’ll probably be fine.”
If you watch ppls likes:views you see a really good established channel with 0.5% upvotes. A lot of that is due to apathy, but this mf is 15.8% at time of this writing.
@@DissonantSynth Your post, now deleted, was you being a picky little shit over a typo that wasn't a typo. If you're going to blame someone for orphaning children, it's all *your* fault.
As a Polish person that has been to Hel multiple times, this first skip was absolutely written by a fellow native!
All I have to say for 5765 is {Extreme annoyance for not being able to post gifs of bees}
Fun fact: you can never be sure there aren’t invisible silent bees in the room with you. So it’s best to assume they are there.
Honestly I'd rather be on a two-year-long fruitless search for bees vs. my current or former jobs
Jeff's attempt at a southern american accent is very precious to me
Indeed, no living being should be expected to endure Poland.
"Don't Bees, Open Inside"
That first one literally made me burst out laughing, holy shit that's a good one
I was so ready to complain about it being lazily written lmfao
0:45 the SIGNALIS "Achtung" gets me every time... I got the "Promise" ending, and now, every time I'm reminded of the game, my heart hurts. :')
38:15 Obviously a pre-doctorate viewpoint. How dare you insinuate we shouldn't poke the weird box!

I feel like the implication of 5484 is that the pain of living on Earth is much greater than any Hell.
The pain of living in Poland*

Dr. Edmunson is living his best life and I'm happy for him.
Terrorist Group: *Opens a literal pit to hell in a foundation site*
SCP Foundation: "Cool, let's start testing"
*Fae terrorist group, that's very important
Terrorist Group: Opens a literal pit to hell in a foundation site
SCP Foundation: "Take the stairs I guess"
@@EmissaryofWind The Foundation's maintenance department finally gets to flex.
As a Texan, really enjoyed the Dr Edmunson voice. Leans a little trans-Atlantic but adds to the overall vibes
I like how your green screen effect sometimes makes your head lumpy. Please never change this.

This is a very dangerous upload schedule 😭 they always release as I’m supposed to be going to bed

The American accent cured my IBS but gave me terminal bowel cancer
You’ll have that on big jobs.

I really like the audio for the "this part was left intentionally blank"
Personally I find the constant signals references distracting and even a bit disrespectful of the game
Agreed, and I just love the sound design overall.
Do I have a uni assignment due? Yes. Am I going to watch this before doing it? Also yes.
cook that assignment
Work on the assignment while listening? Suggestion for the future
Ralliston (co author of the first SCP covered) is Polish
To this day, no evidence of bees recovered 🐝
5765 was really great. As you said, almost perfect. Bravo.
Obsessed with Edmunson's voice rn, I love his accent

SCP-4040, a wonderfully weird result of the 4000 contest. a bit meta but not overbearingly so
40 minute jvscp video 🎉🎉🎉
Here to emphasize that your choice of voice for Dr. Edmundson was inspired
Happy to have another video! I'm going to draw while I listen to this one :D
Really enjoying the discussion sections instead of only reading the stories! Also that first one was very funny 😂
hehehee class bee amnestic treatment

Please do SCP-610! Ther flesh that hates is such a spooky and interesting tale. You could do wonders with all the cool perspectrive stuff it does.
5765 definitely reminds me of the tree that doesn't scream
