Anderson, Fischer v. United States, and Trump v. United States - to deliver legal victories for the former president at the Supreme Court.

@@Collector261Okay, this is how this works. #1 Neither the DOJ or the President has any say so over impeachment proceedings. It starts in Congress in which AOC has already done but requires the speaker bring it to the floor for a vote. It then proceeds to the Senate for a trial. We don't have the numbers in either case and may or may not have them come Jan 1st.

Roberts has been a disappointment. But probably no chief justice could manage the problems the court has now. There is certainly the appearance of impropriety, and likely actual impropriety, with several justices. The politicization that has dogged the court is getting worse. I'm a retired lawyer, and I'm not particularly proud of the federal courts these days. I regret having to say that, but it's reality.
