Hi friends, am personally very interested in such topics because am struggling to serve healthy to my family. It's not easy because high resistance comes from all directions which can easily demotivate you. But am still going. Please understand the meaning of junk. Junk is the ones that doesn't provide enough nutrients for a healthy growth of a body even if it's home made. So if you consume Home made junk the harmful effects are comparatively less. I have seen ppl happily eating home made oily food thinking that's it's healthy because it's homemade. It's not so, reflect on the literal meaning of "junk". Anything of little importance or beyond comprehension is junk. It can be food or any other material. Hence do a research on what's junk or not junk whether home made or outside made. Good luck!

What about home made dry snacks (namkeens) like gathiya, sev, chakli, chiwda, chavana (like tikha Mitha mixture) , poori. Chana Dal moong Dal namkeen And we are making variety of food items like dabeli, bhel, alu paratha, samosa, vada, bhajiyas etc at home only .. All above listed items are healthy enough as they are home made?

I forgot to address ur specific query.. u know added vitamins are plain synthetically derived chemicals.. to keep costs really low... Too much genetically modified sugar, preservatives, emulsifiers, no nutrition is available in god knows what's in these baby foods.. . Diluted khichdi, diluted Dalia, mashed potatoes / banana are good options to keep kids satiated and healthy.. look for A2 milk...

Anything packed for later use is always harmful due to preservatives. You should read the label which is mostly not comprehensible to common ppl. That's the trick, since we don't understand what is what we blindly buy and consume it. Be it curd or masalas or any such stuff. Home made is better.

It's too late to reply but listen her care fully junk food is what u open and immediately eat.. u can't eat a cup of raw Dal or ata u have to cook that in ur home. What else yeah that so called multi grain sandwich is junk by the way and to avoid packing ata and Dal use ur near by chakki to get some fresh Pisa hua aata and locar kirana store to get some Dal in paper bag, eat what is local and seasonal and reasonable.. happy eating

@@swapnashah4121 no dear. Oil they use for frying is being used multiple times for deep frying. Once oil is used for deep frying cannot be reused for frying as it turns toxic. Thats why even mam has mentioned you can deep fry at home and eat because at home we know how much quantity of oil we need to use.
