    Don't sleep on the 64gb yall, it's enough space. Most of yall don't save alot of stuff on there but pictures... and u can always save ur pictures on a flash drive.... DONT OVER SPEND... TO REALIZE YOU DIDNT NEED TOO... also most of the apps if not all of the ones already downloaded on the iPad u won't be using so u can delete them

      Yess an artist said the same, because she cleans up the files she doesn't need regulary
      Myself I had an iphone with 64gb for more than 5 years (don't remember exactly how many years it was the X until this year) and I was just lazzy to transfer my images/photos and videos.. and there were apps I at the end just didn't need but was scared to loose data
      So yeah, you're completely right 😊 64gb is enough unless you use it alot for huge video projects at the same time or 3D ones

    I just ordered a blue iPad Air 256gb and it's arriving tomorrow. Taking lots of notes on getting it set up, getting some good apps on it, etc. I owned an iPad Mini 5 a few years back but ended up giving that to my aunt. This iPad is being purchased to learn digital art, do some digital planning, and organize notes and ideas for the novels I want to write during Camp NaNoWriMo and NaNoWriMo this year.

    New to Apple and my first product is the iPad Air 5. I had the iTouch years ago, but never found it intuitive as a lifelong PC user, so went to Android when smartphones came out. Thanks for the thorough overview. You recommended some different settings compared to another overview video, but your rationale makes more sense. You also covered some items not previously covered, like these three finger swipe in Safari. Everyone who uses Apple might already know some of these tricks, but really helpful for newbies like me!

      @@DionMedia a pertinent question for you. Is there a way to Like a TH-cam video while in full screen on the iPad? There are no controls like on my Android products. This makes TH-cam way less user friendly. I always try to Like while watching so I don’t forget. I often add to playlists while watching or turn on CC or change speed. Seems crazy that I have to leave full screen to do anything. I want to support content creators as much as possible. This is an annoying development for sure since I plan to be on TH-cam a lot on my new iPad. I am hoping there’s a trick I don;t know about yet. Thanks so much for everything!

    Hi Dion, Congrats. Highly informative and well explained. I have an issue with bluetooth pairing. My iPad air 5th Gen pairs well with earbuds, head phones. However, iPad does not pair with other Apple devices like iPhone, Mac book. Can you guide me with the solution? Tnx

    • @DionMedia
      @DionMedia  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Hi, thank you for the feedback. Could you please clarify what you mean by pair? To connect your iPad with your Mac Book you have to do this via cable, not via blue tooth. Blue tooth is only for accesseries such as a mouse or keyboard. Connecting your iPad with your iPhone is not possible.

    • @kammy925
      @kammy925 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      by pairing do you mean connecting everything together like messages and and syncing your information from your iPhone to iPad? if so then first you want to put in the same Apple ID you have on your phone. It might ask you to put in a code to make sure it’s you. If you want to sync your messages together and get them like you get on your iPhone then search “text message forwarding” in settings and toggle the on button. Your iPad should basically turn into your phone at that point and there you have it. If you have any other questions then let me know!

    SUPERB COMMENTARY/GUIDE/ANALYSIS! FIVE ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ STARS!!!! Dion, I must say -- you, sir have converted me. I was given an iPad years ago from my brother -- a nice woman in his office was just given an iPad (this was years ago when the first one appeared) ... she retired and the new iPad was gifted/given to me. -- I found it to be a drag as I am a "Laptop guy" -- I couldn't understand how anyone could compare this cumbersome, two-hand hold item, to compare with the/a superb L-Shaped laptop -- with an attached, real keyboard. -- You could place it on your desk, on your lap (of course), or a pillow on the sofa -- while watching TV. -- I found a tablet to be cumbersome. I never adapted to it and it remained dormant in its box. (Still have it. It even works perfectly -- but slow and old.) -- I own a nice 2021 HP Pavilion Convertible laptop. It can quickly be re-shaped into tablet form. I tried doing that once -- the first day I opened the box. -- Again, I did not / could not adapt to a tablet. Why, I wondered, would/could anyone enjoy having a PC in the tablet form. A full Desktop computer... the best ... A+. A nice Laptop computer... also: A+. -- Now.... just a few days ago a Holiday gift arrived from my brother... a brand new, still sealed in its box ... iPad Air, 5th Generation, Wi-Fi. 256 GB. ----- I received this nice item days ago and it is still sealed in its box. -- Why? The reason is, and I know with the M1 chip and nice camera.... it has to be an AAA+ item! -- But, will I really use it? I have a fine image on my HP Laptop... really vivid and great -- but after watching your new review/commentary/analysis... I am excited to open the box and try it out! I do own an iPhone (....the 6 S Plus -- my fave -- and Capt. (Chris Evans) America's too!) ... Love yhe 6 S Plus. Has everything I need and want from an iPhone ... 3mm port for WIRED earplugs (... the Bluetooth is typically out-of-sync -- as in: not good) --- it has the Finger/Touch -- the best -- this "newer" Face recognition was never a great idea -- nothing like the Touch Feature. ----- I am going to open this box tomorrow as I re-watch your tutorial again (...on the HP Laptop!) ... and see what all the fuss is about. I really do not care about being able to snap a picture with this large-size rectangular device -- I prefer an actually 35mm camera --- I am basically only interested in the picture image for viewing films and videos. -- anything else, I prefer using my laptop. --- I want to thank YOU for "turning me around" ... making me interested and excited to see if this Apple piece is truly a wondrous as most say it is. -- I thank you! A+ video! You are #1 !!!!! --- Neil K.

I've subscribed to your TH-cam Page/Channel. -- and... well, thank you! You are truly a good man -- an informative man. -- So very appreciated!!! -- Have a wonderful new year -- and -- please -- continue creating these magnificent tech-savvy videos. Easy to watch, as you have a special way of making things seem ... easier. -- You seriously do deserve a TH-cam Award ... for Best of the Best in Tech Vids! 🏆 -- Neil K

      @@DionMedia ... Imagine this, my 2022 HP Convertible Laptop, which I really like very much -- I couldn't adapt to enjoying it converted into a tablet. It is a 16.5" pc and, to me, too large and cumbersome in tablet form. Also, when in tablet form the disabled keyboard isn't covered -- HP should have included a snap-on cover -- if you place it on a table the keyboard is on the table! -- That, I do not want. -- This iPad Air, I believe, will be the GEM I am seeing you, and others, describing this iPad Air with the M1 chip, as an AAAAA+ piece! -- I am an owner of an iPhone but still find this new item to be a tad daunting as I am "Windows guy." ----- I do plan to unbox this within a few days (have had this for nearly a week and 1/2 now) and get it set up, thanks to you. -- I am considering one of those free iPad classes at my local Apple Store but I'm not certain I need it. --- The one set-up step that truly interests me is that you can scan your iPhone on it and the info/data from the phone will transfer to the iPad. THIS I want to see!! -------- Thank you, Dion. Wishing you an excellent Happy New Year and the best to you and your family! ----- Neil Kirk
