Hate to be that guy but these Chinese atvs do come with an oil filter, it’s internal, there’s a 23mm bolt on the bottom left side of the block and if you remove that there will be a spring and a filter, I just clean mine out with some carb cleaner and it hasn’t let me down
This is the best comment.... But also it's the easiest way to change the oil on some of these Chinese quads. Getting the 17mm drain bolt out on 150cc models is a tedious task because they don't put a hole in the bottom frame/skid plate for a ratchet/socket to fit. A 15/16 socket also works for those who find this(for the oil filter drain plug).
Can you please tell me which way the oil filter strainer goes back on? Does the rubber side go in first or the metal side ? I’m losing my mind it flung out when I unbolted it and didn’t see the way it came out lol
Great video... I have aquestion..thanks We have 2 Chinese atv 125cc Going to the desert last weekend and my son......check the oil.... was a little down level.....(I was put all equipment on my truck)on that moment.... And he put regular oil what i use for my truck (silverado 18).... Ones we are at the destination (desert) everything was how supposed to be ...and after 5 hrs .... Both atvs with a difference of 5 min apart...start losses compression... What really keep my attention ...like ...what? So my son tell me what he done before... So is anything I can do to recover the compression ...or I need to replace the engine on this moment..I really appreciate ....thanks.. And by the way happy season... One more subscriber ..here
Was told by my dealer you should put 10w40 80% of a quart in after an hour of riding. It’s brand new. I checked it an hour after and it’s totally full any reason why he suggested that.
Hi I noticed on my Apollo 9 blazer there is 2 drain plugs is that the motor oil? If so how do I fill the motor oil? And what kind of oil do I put in it?
What is that slanted drain plug? I accidentally unscrewed the wrong plug.. Spring came out and fluid.. Where do I refill for this one? Thanks in advance
Put it back the way it came out. The refill plug is located on the base of the stator (small plug nut) The Angled plug is for the "push rod" the cam chain tensioner.
@@MOTORSUncut thanks. I was able to put it back in.. Atv runs. I'm having trouble finding the refill plug. Do you have a picture of it? Do I need to disassemble the stator cover to get to it? Tia
This is EXACTLY how to make a how to video. Plenty of information, clear video and straight to the point.

Great video! It really helped on ATV one that had been left out in a field for years. I really didn't think the plug the that close to the fame.
Glad it helped!

you forgot to mention the possibility that when the oil is watery it can be caused by gas leaking into the engine due to carburetor issues

Hello if it’s a automatic same oil? 10/40? Synthetic or non
Good to know.
I have two bolts on my,one is a 17mm and the other is 14mm..So drained by loosening the 17mm bolt, but after i drained my dipstick still showed oil
Just wanted to make sure I did it correctly
One is the gear oil and other is a oil
@@therealbigfoot3076 what do i do if accidentally drain out the gear oil, where do i replace it?
@jaku119 have you found the answer to this?! Still struggling to find the answer
That looks really easy to do, yet you still have to dispose of the oil. We still rather take our quads to the dealer, my time is more valuable.
🤣
So loading it up and unloading it the repair guys then loading it and unloading at home is easier than just changing it where it’s at ? 🤡🤡🤡🤡
Thank you !
Thank you!
whats the other bolts for? or what other fluids does it have ?
timing chain tensioner plug (do not recommend touching)
Do you need to run the bike first so the oil is warm before changing
yes

I would not be concerned on refilling.
@@MOTORSUncut thanks for all the insights
Just curious on the Tao tao 107cc quad what is the nut next to the drain plug?? i loosened it and a springs came out. hard to find an engine diagram
It's the "push rod" for the cam chain tensioner. Just put back the plug and not worry about it.
i have a question, i accidentally drain out the gear oil/differential oil, how do i replace it. i have kazuma falcon 90
I did the same thing. The Chinese manual is trash
tao 2012 124 cc says oil is 15 40 isnt that to thick and how much oil will it take
High quality 4 stroke oil 10/40 , 10/30. Will be fine
What gear oil should I use for my atv?
This model does not include a gear box
ilang litro pagnag changes oil
Approx 2.5 liters gas tank
Thanks!

Welcome
Exactly how much oil? I lost my manual
The 110cc, 125cc China Quads generally use just shy of a quart
There is a filter it's internal
Is there a video for the oil filter?
thank you
Welcome
@@MOTORSUncut you think i can get away with 5w30 full synthetic or 5w20?
Yes @@Random.Adventures.
My 17ml slips?
Where is the oil filter located?
He said in the video, there is no oil filter.
There is one but I haven't found where on mine..I've seen oil filters for them on line and they look pretty much just like a screen
I CHANGE MY OIL EVERY TEN YEARS !!
