There's a choke on opposite side of carb than the low idle screw.
My idle screw didn't work brand new , and had to use the cable adjustment.
0:50 sounds like me trying to cold start my atv

Choke up 20% gas and wait 3minutes till its warmed up and if the battery died just push start

I searched TAO TAO DEALER to find mine.
you can go to texas and go to the trader market and they sell them there but it’s a good 800$ to 1k
I do not have the same ATV but is it normal that my engine with choke always goes out when I do not give gas? sorry for my bad English.
There is an idle screw you may need to adjust to make the idle speed higher

He loves it. If I had to redo it I would have gotten him the racing one with better turn radius. Depends what your using it for I guess. He uses it to get from a to b. Reverse is nice too. He doesn’t beat it up so I think this will last for years.

I got mine on Christmas and the texas freeze killed mine
You probably have some trash in carburetor. If you use gas with ethanol and let it set for a couple weeks the ethanol in the gas gunks up. The carb and use non-ethanol gas.
The atv never ran right when we purchased it. I think you are correct though. It was probably sitting for awhile before we bought it.
I bought mine with empty gas tank and I have never used anything but 93 pure gas with seafoam , so far so good. Going to replace the carb but no need right now, but first thing is to change these sprockets to get lower end , thing will go 50+ but I need it to pull a deer or go up hill and little logs and the sprockets they come with will wear out your clutch .

Hey i can help you with that,mine came without the key because they forgot it and my neighbour showed me how to use it without a key

That’s the absolute wrong thing to do my dude. All you do is pull out the choke no need for any of that other nonsense
