@@jittertn Yeah, that's what I was thinking too. The reason DS doesn't necessarily need RT as much is due to the game's environmental design. There isn't much high-contrast global lighting in the game that would require RT to be fully utilized. As a result, DS can focus more on adding intricate details, like bloodstains on characters, interactions with water physics and objects, and the remains of destructed objects and corpses. On the other hand, BMW purposely uses RT to enhance its environment, but because RT is so resource-intensive, the game has to quickly remove any dead bodies and destroyed objects to reduce the system's load. The focus is instead placed on things like detailed hair textures, complex visual effects during combat, and the physics of character movement in and out of combat. So it is cherry picking. Graphically DS: better water effect, better stain Wukong: better light shadow reflection Physic wise: DS: keep the corpse Wukong: impact effect and fire effect look unnatural due to its gameplay. You don’t want that much physic interruption, especially when you wield a long staff with two ends. Also having fire resistance but get burn with every little touch.
Sound FX, Level Design, and environments is Demons souls, BMW is not far behind, BMW is best at is the art (cutscenes and such) and the combat flow, but lacks on those tiny details that make Demons souls shine at the end, both are a must play and love from what they can offer, Great games, but my pick goes with Demon souls, as a gamer felt a like a giant leap on the technical standard, BWM is just realigning the gaming industry back to the basics. Both are great!
UE Games=Too much use of stock assets. Yeah, the games look good, but interactivity and attention to details are usually lacking compared to inhouse engines.
Wukong is very impressive for a first game from a chinese indie devs. but yeah, PS5 version is standard . but PC version cinematic mode & Path-Tracing is phenomenal.
Black myth looks so messy at times, every gameplay i saw looked great cuz they play at maximum and ray tracing on but base game in high settings looks meh

Physic wise:
DS: keep the corpse
Wukong: impact effect and fire effect look unnatural due to its gameplay. You don’t want that much physic interruption, especially when you wield a long staff with two ends. Also having fire resistance but get burn with every little touch.
Black myth: wukong is better ❤
Both very nice but yet i have to admit that Demon's Souls Remake devs did a insanely great job! Well done!
Click here for those who want a remake of Bloodborne made by Bluepoint! Do it and take my money Sony!
is there any plans for releasing Demon's souls remake on PC ??
Wukong is very impressive for a first game from a chinese indie devs.
but yeah, PS5 version is standard .
but PC version cinematic mode & Path-Tracing is phenomenal.
demon's souls is not bad for having come out a while ago but what they did with black myth wukong is incredibly beautiful
Demon's Souls: Better graphics and physics
Black Myth Wukong: Better gameplay
the lightning in black myth wukong is crazy good
Black myth looks so messy at times, every gameplay i saw looked great cuz they play at maximum and ray tracing on but base game in high settings looks meh
Both are spectacular top looking games!
Demon is a little more detailed, and Wukong is a little more dynamic and grand.
Either way a WIN-WIN for all gamers.
Demon's Souls remake is still the best looking game of the PS5. It’s the only one that really feels next gen and after all these years the Blue Point work on this title is even more impressive when we compare it to the latest released games.
both are crazy amazing
now i want bloodborne by bluepoint
BUT THIS TIME, invite miyazaki as advisor, don't want to ruin the atmosphere while it's look amazing
Are better Engines in house out there than UE5.
In what way? No engine is hands down the best. Whether in house or commercially available.
@@mikew1080 Bluepoint Engine: 1440p and 4k (60/30fps stable); Wukong: 790p-1080p and 1220-1580 upscaled (30/60fps+FG Unstable).
@@LiesdayI agree but ue5 is better at the top end (max settings on crazy pc) with its crazy features. It's just that it's too demanding on hardware. Ue5 shouldn't be used on consoles or maybe even in general for now for that reason. Take a look at doom eternal, even better optimisation than demon souls (less pretty graphics in general though). It hits 120fps at 1080p and 4k60 and 1440p 60fps with raytracing.
@@joemoe1560 Even on PC UE5 makes the best PC sweat, I don't consider that to be a good engine, for example, From Software's engine is a terrible engine, I know it looks horrible and it defends itself with a lot of art direction, but if an engine with such ugly graphics gives such horrible performance on high-end PCs and modern consoles, it is a bad engine. UE5 looked much better in the first tech demos and in practice we don't see even half of that, just problems in every game it is used in.
Demon Souls.
Stop the cap
this is demons souls iphone version?

Bro demon souls looks CRAZY
Crazy outdated you mean
@@Leo007619bro why y re a hater?? Why u cant accept the fact that Demon Souls (almost 4 years old game) is the best graphical game ever
Demon's Souls Remake does not get enough praise for its absolutely fantastic sound design
The difference is demon souls is a remake with the only focus to make graphics, wukong is this great right from the get go
What are you talking about? Demons Souls was the birth of souls like games, without it we might not have had Elden Ring and other great games.
@@claudiovic88 I’m talking about the remake, the original was a breakthrough genius masterpiece, the remake takes the original game and focuses only on great graphics, so of course the detail lever here is mind blowing
Conclusion: The OG Demon Souls is better than both.
Perro juegazo we
Another factoring is Black myth wukong is the first game GAMESCIENCE they made it , its the first game on PS5...
Demons soul its not the first game Bluepoint made it.. experience its important too.
Im sure the next game from Gamescience will be much better..and Black myth wukong still one of the best on PS5.
My first impression on Black myth was " im plaiyng a PS5 game , finally ".
Ma che paragone è?
bro you gotta play moroe than just the first level - wukongs different chapters shows off a lot of tech per chapter
demon soul looks far better then black myth on ps5 black myth looks blurry on ps5
I feel like if these companies were to stop releasing games on ps4 and Xbox one we could get more games that look more like demons souls and black myth wukong.
But that’s just my opinion.
Do we really need a PS5 Pro or Talented Devs?
Talented devs
Both! Just imagine…talented devs with more powerful hardware (ps5 pro) 🤯🤯
@@i-wildchild-i the so called less power PS5 is running star wars outlaws at 720p.
For me the two best games ever in terms of clean graphics and performance on ps5 are demon soul and lies of p, the only two truly next gen games.
Wow, i feel like playing demon soul now.
u5 is overhyped. Still Wukong is a great game.
When will fromsoftware learn and update their old engine
It’s complicated
I don't think they care that much, and they clearly don't have to from a financial standpoint
Never.
@@jankbunky4279 Then they will never change and fan boys still gonna foam at the mouth.
