If the games are optimised for an SSD and given that the storage in 9th gen consoles is so much faster than what's available and compatible with last gen machines, I doubt we would see no noticable difference.

I love the new walking sound a whole lot better. The original it’s just a loop of the same sounds over and over again, while the remake actually has a longer loop, so the sounds are repeated less.
The graphics of the remake version are similar to the 8th generation games. I think this game can easily be ported to the PlayStation 4, but they wanted to release an exclusive game only for the sale of the PlayStation 5 console. I think this is not a 9th generation remake, but actually a remake with graphics. It is the 8th generation, what do you think?
I initially thought like you, but after spending a lot of time in the game, I'm not so sure anymore. It's really, really beautiful; the graphics are very refined, there are lots of details, lots of physics everywhere... Just walking through a puddle of water is gorgeous. The flame effects, especially when the dragons breathe fire, are incredible... The background scenery is very detailed... And it's all incredibly smooth. In the end, I'm pretty convinced that it's indeed a PS5 game, and even the most impressive one to date (even more so than Ratchet and Clank).

Because it would be heavily downgraded. Also this game utilizes the ps5 SSD for those instant load times. It would just not run good on the ps4. 1080p30fps at max.

@@borne2game well yeah you don't buy a console for one game, you buy it for the whole collection of games to come out. But PS4 frame rates aren't very stable. It drops to 45fps for most of the time and maybe 60 if you're doing nothing. On the ps5 it's a very stable 60fps in pretty much every game without any noticeable frame drops. All that with the enhanced tech plus better resolution. If the ps5 can only run demon souls at 60 fps max, then the ps4pro would definitely not get 60fps unless it's in 1080p and downgraded graphics.

No se porque la empresa detras del juego habria gastado tanto en dos juegos distintos, sabiendo que el de ps4 no tendria mucho sentido pues ya todo el mundo estaria comprando ps5. Recordemos que en la actualidad los juegos de consola no son escalables, no puedes simplemente reducir graficos o reducir fps y sacarlos en otra consola sino que basicamente debes hacer otra version del juego, lo cual involucra tambien dos licencias y lo que fuera necesario. Creo que a lo largo de esta generacion veremos como eso cambia, pero de momento es entendible que se hallan querido centrar en el juego de ps5

Do you think, now that the remake is out, it is still relevant to play the PS3 version of the game? I mean the gap in the graphics is obvious and i suppose there are differences in the gameplay perhaps even storywise, but it's still a game with its PS3 flavour (to state the obvious). Para mi gusto, hay escenarios que los mejora, consiguiendo la misma ambientacion.
Sin embargo en otros, pierde la ambientacion tétrica y deprimente.
Se debe mucho a la iluminacion y al color,en ps3 se ve mas oscuro y gris en algunos escenarios.

Si, pero ten en cuenta que si no lo volvían exclusivo de ps5, las ventas de las consolas serían menores porque no habría juego para estrenar la consola

Wow just imagine if bluepoint games remake the PS3 original The Last of Us from the ground up.
i think it is better naughty dog does it, since the TLoU 2 engine belongs to them, and they would nail it. but bluepoint is awesome, and i wouldn't mind if they remade the game themselves.

Do you think, now that the remake is out, it is still relevant to play the PS3 version of the game? I mean the gap in the graphics is obvious and i suppose there are differences in the gameplay perhaps even storywise, but it's still a game with its PS3 flavour (to state the obvious). I know i'll have a PS5 one day and play this game but i'm really curious what you think guys about it.

Se puede cambiar cuando te lo creas.
