Beautiful car, I leased it and currently in the process of getting it bought back out for me since sadly it was a lemon car. Came with the motor shot from factory and had less than a 1,000 miles of life to it. Great car however, but only lasted with me about 5 days and this whole process has taken about a month. And sadly, I just dont trust it anymore. But thats MY experience with Hyundai.
thanks for the review, i'm almost decided on leasing one of these. Can anyone say how the AWD would handle in snow? Would this work with some light camping/offroading?
Unless someone is in Alaska or somewhere extreme, this vehicle did not come out until late spring, so nobody has much if any experience driving it in real snow. There are some YT vids where people test it in fairly challenging off roading and it does get there, but it is not a 4WDJeep. If you just mean unpaved roads to get to campsites, it should get you there & plenty of room for camping gear inside and on the roof rack & it'll tow 2000 pounds. This car can transport a good amount of stuff, especially if you get the crossbars & use the roof rack too.
What are the different drive modes in the limited? And does it have folding mirrors? I also thought I read it has automatic rear lift opening just by standing near it

@@AlphaShark wow that’s incredible I used to own a Honda and was in the market for a Hyundai and that recent recall they’ve been having with fire cars is quite concerning for anyone also the warranty’s they offer is a red flag because yes it’s a 10 year warranty ( powertrain ) kind of implies that the engine or transmission might not last for that long . But do these warranty’s carry over to the N trims such as Kona N line or Kona N or To the Elantra N or N Line ? Also I might completely wrong about Hyundai because Lemon Cars do exist and that’s another factor for such a large part of their recalls but the overall performances for these newer Hyundais are great from what I’m seeing
I LOVE everything about the car except for the light interior color. I know it's gonna get dirty right away if I were to get this car in this interior color. Everything is sharp!
Are those the gray leather seats? I want to get a Tucson limited but living in AZ black is wayyyy too hot so if those are the gray seats they look almost white.
Yup, those are the grey seats, you get your choice of black or grey. It is a light grey, definitely not white. Let me tell you, those cooled seats are priceless, no more sweaty backs & seared thighs when you have shorts on! The AC in this car really rocks and, w/ the remote start, you can have your ride cooled off when you get in. It also has dual front climate zones, so if your passenger likes it hotter or cooler, no problem! There is also a diffuser setting, so if you don't like air blasting on you, the AC comes out lots of small holes all along the dash, cooling just as efficiently as using only the vents. I switch to that once the car is cooled off.
@@heartwings2517 I’ve driven 5 Tucson’s here in AZ and so far all of them the AC has been ok at best. My current car from 2013 is cold all the time. When I drove every one of the Tucson’s if I came to a stop at a light or just sitting there idling it would get warm then cold and never stay ice cold like I used to with my 2013 Toyota Yaris. The dealership I’ve been test driving these Tucson’s at seems to think it’s an issue with the new 2022 Tucson in general. I’m gonna try test driving 2 more when they get them in and if they’re the same way with the AC I’m gonna get a Cadillac XT4. I test drove just one of the 2021 models and the AC was cold from starting idle till I turned the vehicle off after the test drive. So disappointed that the new 2022 Tucson is a great vehicle but has horrible AC in my option after test driving 5 of them!
@@DJAJ101 I live on the east coast, so it is not as not here & that could be the difference as your climate is more extreme. Next test drive make sure to shut off the ISG system as I have noticed that is does seem to effect the performance of the AC sometimes. LOL
@@heartwings2517 Ha! Funny funny! No it's the Tucson that's the issue. I had the ISG on/off and everything else in between, no difference. I test drove a Cadillac XT4 and the AC was ice cold within a minute of starting the vehicle and stayed cold the whole drive. The Tucson would get warm and cool at times but could never get and stay cold. Be prepared to pay sticker, with supply low & demand high, dealers have customers over a barrel & they know it.
They are! It's a nice quality of leather. The seats have small perforations as they can be air cooled when when using the AC. They are also heated. The SE and SEL trims do not have leather seats, the Limited does. My last Hyundai had similar leather seats & they looked like new when I traded it in after having it 10 years. I took care of them, of course, but it is good quality leather that wears well & lasts!

Looking for an SUV have tested both a Santa Fe and a Tucson. Hard to decide I want God's will not mine.
hahaha the best part of the video your brother Tucker
I agree with ALL you said but have to say the Hybrid Limited is oh so MUCH better. It's moves BIG time compared to the non-hybrid & much better MPG!
Ahhh..."button shifters" another thing to break and confuse!
well done 👏
No a good feature when the car that is parked next to you hits your car getting in because they don't have the same feature.
To get one now you're looking at $10,000 more
Interior is a dust magnet
The rest of the vehicle is (hopefully) a chick magnet! _(5/25/2022)_
Good luck finding this car for less than 38k
Nice job. love Mom
pray for my finals please
Isaac Reynolds is your boot size a size 7 you have tiny feet it looks like your boots are on backwards are you okay.
Tripods in mirror are closer than they appear!
The seats not even look like leather to me.
Try the hybrid, the gas engine lacks power.
***UPDATE*** do not purchase the car 1 month in already having engine trouble
Interesting! What's your issue specifically? Will it not shift, not turn on?
"Piano black" is not a texture.
Still.. a bit too pricey for a Tuscon
Top line model, & not even close to last gen.
I also test drove a Lexus. I bought the Hyundai. The Limited is top of the line, the SE or SEL are cheaper.
