Good idea to have the night shot of the car. It’s about time reviewers talk about how the car looks and operated at night. Nice presence on camera too. Keep it up and you will be reviewing Lambos like the other guys
We discovered you when we first got our 21 Tucson. I quickly learned that my car loving toddler loves to chill out and watch your videos at nap time lol. He’s fallen asleep to your videos many times and we enjoy seeing all the cool cars! Thank you for all the videos and for helping us convince this kid to sleep 😂
Great video, I’ve just ordered one of these… Question: is it possible to access TH-cam on the screen? Lastly, the camara on the front, is it possible to hook up a recording device to this and use it as a dash cam!! Now there’s an idea 💡
That would be a good idea but there's no way as of right now to set up any type of recording with it. And no, you cannot access TH-cam on the touchscreen. I think Hyundai is worried of getting sued lol
Awesome review, I purchased the 2022 Tucson sel with the premium package and I ❤️it! The intense blue color really stands out and is not like other blue cars that seem a little dull.
Thanks Miguel, I just purchased a Blue, Limited because of your video. I waited until my local dealership got the one I wanted. Also got a pretty good deal on it. Thanks for your g great videos
Just test drove both of these yesterday. Both were nice but went with the Limited AWD. Couldn't pass up all the features the limited had. It looks beautiful in shimmering silver! Absolutely love it so far!

Hey, Miguel on the premium you can change the color of the ambient lighting and it's on the doors as well on mine idk, but you can't customize it. But to me customizing doesn't matter due to you can only customize a color so much like on a computer or program. But I do like the limited has it in the door too.
Awesome review! I really wanted the hybrid SEL, but because of the several month long wait, I opted for the SEL Premium AWD in intense blue. It's a beautiful car!
I noticed there are no individual interior door locks. How does someone sitting in the back open the door? Is it like BMW where you pull twice on the handles to unlock - or does someone in front have to unlock all the doors for them?

Idk if its just me but on my Tuscon the android auto wireless/wired has a tendency to cut in and out and when I'm watching videos on my phone the audio doesn't match up with the video.
Dude I love your videos, you give the best info and keep it entertaining compared to all the other informational videos on TH-cam. Wish I lived in Florida, I’d definitely purchase from you, keep up the killer work bro you rock!
Thank you for the video. Very informative. Now I'm torn between the 2021 Santa Fe SEL w/premium package and the 2022 Tucson. Any helpful suggestions or advice?
I have a ‘19 santa fe sel plus, and I love it. But compared to the Tuscon, it’s a larger vehicle. The interior of the santa fe also is a little easier to use with the infotainment, and less fingerprinty gloss black on the santa fe as well. I dont think you’d regret either, but you should definitely test drive both. Inventory also seems to be more plentiful for the Santa fe at the moment, and potentially better deals since the ‘22 tucson is so hot right now.
This is my next vehicle I'm getting in a couple of years, after owning a nice 2018 Sport Elantra GT Turbo Ultimate, I hope they add more fun colors, the current ones are a bit neutral and hopefully, they tweak it for a N-Line version of this new Tucson.
Good review. A minor con, The trim is SEL, premium is just an optional package on it. I've seen on other market that the Tucson have cornering light, which is basically lights up the high beam when turning. Does the US model have it, at least on limited? Thanks
This is exactly what I was looking for - comparison between SEL Premium and Limited. I was aware about the memory seat, shifter and moon/sunroof but it was good to know about the need for a cable for car play. Also I am disappointed that Hyundai doesn't give that 360 camera view and live turn video with SEL Premium. I am going for a test drive here in NJ on Saturday. Considering all I have seen in SE, SEL and Limited I am expecting the real deal to blow me away. Already tried the RAV4 last week. So horsepower is a concern for me with Hyundai.
Excellent comparison! I just subscribed. I actually leased the 2022 Hyundai Tucson SEL Premium last Wednesday 5/5. I might have been the first person in the US to lease it because Hyundai didn’t have the lease program set up in any system. It took an extra five hours for it to get setup before Hyundai could send it to the dealership for me to sign. I initially wanted the Limited trim because I need ventilated seats. I didn’t realize you could get the SEL Premium. I didn’t like the button gear selector in the Limited. I love that SEL has wireless Apple CarPlay in case Apple removes the charging port from the iPhone in the next couple of years. I don’t like the panoramic sunroof in the Limited - it’s too overwhelming. I also wish Hyundai’s Smart Key system worked with iPhones, not just Android. While I would have loved Smart Park, the 360 camera, and memory seats, those features were not worth an extra $3,000. The SEL Premium has all of the features that matter most to me.
I thought smark part assist where it can move itself forward and backward is only for the hybrid, as it needs to use the electric motors, is that right? I thought the hybrids weren't out yet!
Nope! I thought the same thing on the Sonata Hybrid, but smart Park is only available on the gas engine version Sonata. Not sure about the other hybrid versions yet but I wouldn't be surprised if it's the same for all of the Hyundai line.
I just stumbled to your channel and surprisingly enough I'm actually local! Must be destiny! Do you have any SEL premiums coming any time soon? I'll be trading 16' Sonata, last payment will be April woohoo! Love what Hyundai is doing. Keep up the good work 👍

Even though i live in NC i just subbed, you have good knowledge of the vehicles. I am considering the 2022 AWD SEL, i have a 1996 Jeep Grand Cherokee for my 2nd vehicle and looks like the Tucson has more interior room than my old Jeep. I have a 2021 Forte 6 speed manual and its paid for, amazing gas mileage especially on the highway. I think the 17 inch wheels are fine, they look much bigger in real life
have my 2015 gls still. wanted to get the 3rd generation 2016-2021 but I actually do not mind my gls. very minimal maintenance, work and frustration still at 125K. then they came out with this tucson; was not a fan of the exterior changes in this 4th gen, but I can't wait to get it for the electrical and safety upgrades. I think Kia and Hyundai changed the game with their SUVs and warranties.
Thanks for the review. This is the one I've been waiting to see. Well and also the same trims compared in the hybrid, unless everything is the same. Online it seems you can get the panoramic sunroof with the added package to the hybrid blue, but I'm itching to see them in person. Hopefully we'll get them here soon. What is the price difference between these two shown in the video?
Hi Miguel! I recently got my 22 Tucson - your videos helped a lot in deciding so thank you! Btw, do you know if there is a way for the SEL convenience to get Apple Carplay using USB only (not wireless). I’ve looked everywhere and can seem to find a way. Thanks again!
Miguel, I’m really enjoying your delivery in your videos. It makes them enjoyable as well as informative. At this time, would you advise springing for a lower trim 2022 Tucson or taking the 2021 Ultimate if the prices are the same? I’m in Canada and with the financing interest drop on the 2021, I’d be looking at the same monthly payment for a 2022 Tucson on the second level trim, which they call “Preferred” in Canada. I’m really torn bc the 2022 looks amazing.
If it was me, I'd go for the 22 regardless of savings on a 21. The 21 has been nice, but the 22 is even more amazing, even in thr lesser trims. More powerful engine, better mpgs, new packaging options and tech the 21 could only dream of.
The exterior and interior physcial dimensions are very close to the CR-V, so obviously Hyundai is going with what Honda has been very successful with. One thing I haven’t been able to determine is if the Tucson has doors that auto-lock after walking away like the CR-V does. Even Toyota doesn’t have this handy feature.
Can you do better than a lease @ $358 a month + tax with first month’s payment and tag fee down for an SEL Premium? Asking before I drive to Miami from Sarasota.
