@@saintuk70 It's a military refueling base. Just look at how much money they have made from it. These planes must have been involved with this missile activity in you know where. Oreshnik coming to Prestwick soon.
I saw these two aircraft on Flightradar24 on Monday. Call sign NOVA02 and NOVA03; on a lengthy flight from Chania airport in Crete. No doubt, just a short hop across the ocean for these guys! Good catch 👍🏻😁

No need for the apostrophe on "Sentry's" - above. An apostrophe means someone/something OWNS something. Also known as the possessive apostrophe . Example the sentry's cap was not on properly. The cap belongs to the sentry. Where several sentries (plural= ies) are doing something it would be; " the sentries landed one after the other".
It's probably because the E-3 engines are still doing a good job and there's very little difference in the engine power between the E-3/TF33 at 21,500lbs of thrust and the KC-135R/CFM56 at 22,500lbs of thrust. When the USAF upgrades engines it usually means a Big difference in engine power.
Perhaps because the Air Force is investing in their replacement, the E7 Wedge Tail which is similar to those in service with Australia's Air Force. They recently came into an agreement on price...
The beautiful sound of Pratt and Whitney JT3s !
Stunning aircraft memories come flooding back never forget getting a look round a delayed 707 years ago prestwick ba jfk bound G-AWHU
Smoking like the last Vulcan I saw airborne
Prestwick gets some variety of visitors. Ok, no longer a very busy airport, but still good viewing.
Yeah for a Ryanair hub it does pretty well!

Beautiful beautiful 707s!!
Long live the 707! An Israeli AF one was at Brize the same day, yet to see it in person. Very rarely visits Prestwick

Excellent well done
Cheers Paul!

There moaning because it’s the wrong type of leaves for them
@@ianstewartorr8455 They're or They are... NOT "there" as in over there or indeed "their" as in their leaves - they own the leaves.

Thanks I’ve updated it. I’m usually good with grammar, clearly wasn’t paying attention on this occasion!
Wow, great catch, 👍👍👍👍👍. Hope they got charged appropriate ULEZ fees, lol 🤣🤣
Thanks! Yeah not the cleanest plane in the sky, looks, sounds and even smells amazing though 😁
Why have they not upgraded their engines?
I’m honestly not sure, but I really hope that they never upgrade them!
The KC-135 has more modern high bypass engines.

google would not disclose whether there is microwave oven aboard for inflight crew meals.
Probably cause it’s top secret microwave oven tech 🤫
@@Avi8Jack - a different YT video this year showed a military jet with one aboard, i didn't pay attention to the name / designation.
Awesome catch! shame about the light though
Cheers Natan! Aye not ideal, just had to make do!
Don't listen to him. Looks better in the dusky conditions.
So the USAF have to change their operating schedule for a few pics?? The video looks great!!
