[4K] TWO FULL RUNWAY TAKEOFFS | 2 USAF Boeing E3B Sentrys Depart Prestwick Airport 2024

- On November 19th, 2024, probably the best movement into Prestwick Airport, since the A10s arrived in 2022. 2 USAF E3B Sentry's passed through on their way back home to America. The AWACS (airborne early warning and control) are heavily modified Boeings 707s, designed to detect any missiles, vehicles boats or ships in advanced. Due to the extra weight, and the under powered original Pratt and Whitney TF33-PW-100A, both these classics used every inch of Prestwick's 10,000ft runway, literally. They departed long, loud and very smokey. Great to see these classic 707s still flying in 2024, 45 years and 50 years old respectively. Very rare to see one 707 anywhere never mind two of them departing one after the other.

Hope the tree huggers don't see these rolling coal 😂
Monkton housewives take your washing in off the clothes line the E3Bs are taking off..
Surprisingly quiet, though it might have been due to the immediate traffic! Anyway, the 707 has such beautiful profile and sleek lines. Just gorgeous! What were they doing at Prestwick?
Yeah the rush traffic with the schools finishing did dampen the sound a little. Was around 3pm both departure. A fuel stop after tasking for nato over the summer. Thanks for Watching :)
Miliband: you must all have an EV and a heat pump.
