I defeated the Chaserazor dropped a trash echo( Glacio damage% in Aero set). Not a productive use of time in early game.

Nah, keep one at a moderate distance to you and the other 2 further away, doing this will make them only do ranged attacks. The smaller monkeys are easy, they have 1 ranged attack that's easy to see and react. The big monkey can do up to 4 attacks but you can just dash away from the 2 circle attacks and the other 2 attacks are the same attack that the small monkey did and a jumping variant of it. And yes, don't fight it mindlessly, just take your time and dodge counter like in this video. The real headache is the tic tac group. They have fast, multi-projectile attacks that don't just come at you in one go but randomly and sometimes consecutively. The little havoc rat has a wait-until-the-universe-collapses attack wind-up that can instantly shut you down or set you up for it's teammate's attacks if you panic dodge. This is not to mention that if you do let one of them end game itself when it gets low, it'll leave an aoe zone that can also insta kill you.

I remember there was an Elite Carapace I saw near a pool of water. In the water was a chest, so I decided to skip the Carapace and go for the chest. After collecting the chest, the screen froze, signaling that a strong enemy was defeated, and I got an achievement. I turn around and there’s just an echo in front of me. Apparently that Elite Carapice drowned trying to follow me into the water 😂

No, if you're cutting out your wifi is bad. You can't blame an online game for your wifi being bad. That's not how WiFi works. The game will only work as good as your upload and download time, in layman's terms, your ping. Unless you're playing at a good 40ms, you're going to have trouble. The first thing you can do other than pay for better internet service is make sure you are playing in your country's region. Don't play the Asian server of WuWa if you're in America

That's exactly what just happened in this video, tho her base ping is much higher, it should not be spiking so hard off simply being in combat it drops the connection. If you're going to speak on something. Make sure you understand what you're talking about first. This experience is my own btw. I have fiber optic internet at 1gb/s up/down. My typical ping ranges around 30ms. And I was having this issue constantly. I did not have this issue in ANY other game. But sure blanket blame the isp when this issue is being reported by many people.

But, ill add the details as well, you know the little bar above your health bar that charges up with your basic attacks on enemies or using your skill? That right there is your forte skill and maxing the bar will give you an enhanced heavy attack (example: Yinlin’s forte turns her heavy into a large aoe that implants her abilities onto enemies) Trust me, you weren’t alone on being confused on what it was for a bit, even I took awhile to understand what it was.

I know this pain, its too funny to fight these red monsters. However I kinda hate the Res enemies by the sea of flames, on top of the platform that guards the golden chest. That is hard for because of the small area to fight in and its hard to keep track
Agreed, any of the grouped enemies are a huge pain because they are so unpredictable, and the Fracstidus are especially painful because of the small arena. Were you able to beat them in the end?

There's another trick. Find a not so high vantage point. One that's just barely away from the enemy's striking range. Too far away and the enemy will reset. Just use a gunslinger and just whittle it's HP down slowly from safety. For the bear, there's a small ledge to the left of the area and for the scorpions, you can stand on top of the containers on the side of the cave.
Tip for the new light crusher / tiger special enemy: corner it to one of the cliff walls around its arena. Easy if it starts running around you just run to the wall and it’ll run into the wall lmao. Once there, it’s less likely to do its annoying long-ranged attacks and pounces. Not fully guaranteed but it forces it to stay close to you and use its melees for easier dodge countering. Just watch out for the damaging roar.
You can also cheese some of these bosses especially the bear through ranged attacks by utilizing elevation. There's a small cliff in the middle of the area and you can drag the bear on it then just hit it on mid range while he's stuck on terrain.

My biggest issue with these "special enemies" are when multiple enemies are involved, this applies to just in general too but the lock on is so annoying for this, it is hard to tell whether you are locked on, or if you aren't, there are times where you aren't locked on to any one enemy yet still are fighting your controls to attack something else in the mob, it is the worst. I believe they said they will be addressing this in 1.1 but it is why I haven't bothered with the high level group "special enemies" because it is frustrating to keep an eye on all of them when one hit can kill you and the attacking being irritating, I am looking at you Prisms!
Some personal tips I’ve picked up from other vids / experience: - dodges only work twice in a row after that you have a small cooldown. So if you die often from your character just standing there while you were spamming the dodge button, that might be why. You can still spam but in short bursts when you’re not exactly sure on the timing. Successful dodges don’t count for two-in-a-row, so prolonged or group attacks you can spam dodge on if they keep coming as long as one of the first two dodges does actually dodge something and you get the slowmo effect. - different attacks of different characters have different hitbox durations. This affects counterattacks/parries and rover is one of the easiest to parry with because of lingering hitboxes. I find danjin’s res skill and jiyan’s *anything* during his ult’s duration are also great for this. Hitboxes tend to disappear and become invalid for parries if they actually hit an enemy first before colliding with a parryable attack, so might want to keep that in mind when you’re attacking into an enemy’s face.
The bear has 2 different arm swipes. The one whete he swings both arms together us a single attack and is safer to counter. The onevwhete he swipes 1 arm is paet of a 5-attack chain and is riskier, as each successful hitbyou land will makebyou vulnerable to his next arm swipe if you're not fast enough.
Love this vid :D Fun thing u can do is delay the dodge counter so that you can utilize something called 'i-frames' (invincibility frames) which means you can do a dodge counter while the bear attacks you so u don't get hurt!

there's a spot on the roots where the bear can get stuck for a while you can lure him in when he's dashing the get a gunner to deal damage or you can go coop and when one dies another will buy time and run a round til you get back so the health won't reset
its actually really easy to beat the bear just get on top of the tree thats near the bear take any resonator that can do long range attacks and spam it. it does take a long time but its easy just make sue to not stay to close or itll hit you
The proof of a hero in the end is such a neuron activation for me and now that I think about it this is definitely what I needed to fight these guys and the tips is really useful too!
I realized this with the Dual Flower like boss and I thought it was a game mechanic. Later I discovered it only worked against those particular enemies.

there's also another trick to this the cheese strategy, if u lure the bear at the big tree branch behind it climb up and the bear somehow will try to get up with you, and get it stuck there, the bear will not move and stay still and just use any gun character to shoot the stuck bear. with enough tries and got em stuck i die 2 times getting it right and i finally kill this FUCKING BEAR!!!!!!!!!!! lol.
I got killed 8 times with lvl 50 characters and managed to kill it with Mortefi, Baizhi, and Verina. I hate The Mighty LightCrusher I co-op with my friend we’ve been trying to kill it for days we finally got it to a quarter of health and then I didn’t have any more revival things so I got killed again😭💔
Best part of these types of special enemies it actually helps you practice the dodge countrr and parry combat system the first one i encountered by accident while hunting for havoc dreadmane was lightcrusher hahah turned out to be the hardest hahaha but i got better in dodging after that
The first elite that I encountered was the bear exploring. Didn't realize that it was 120 until a few minutes into the fight (I was at max lvl 40). It was all hopes and prayers placed on Chixia playing tag with the bear.
Trick to defeating Spearback King if you got skill issues or extremely underleveled. Lure them at the back of the tree where they get stuck, use someone with range attacks to deal damage, if you're impatient but have good dodging skills, you can use someone with high DPS just make sure you can quickly return to the safe spot where the bear's attack can't reach you. That's how I defeated it at Level 50 with only Verina remaining.
Trick to defeating the special enemies that are more than two: Make sure to target only one of them until K.O. while just try to dodge the other's attacks. If I remember correctly, they won't spawn back even if you get K.O.ed which lessens the enemies you have to defeat on next attempts. For the monkey bosses, avoid getting caught by the hurricane as it's gonna trap you in place and make it harder to dodge their attacks.
For Protective Scales, play it safe and do most of your damage when it's activating its circling laser attack, just dodge it once to get inside the circle as you won't get attacked once your inside and the lasers are still ongoing. For mightly lightcrusher, you do need some skills for this as I was struggling with them too until I got to Level 70, but try to make use of Geochelone's shield if you have it so you don't get one hit, when it tries to claw you just be ready to dodge at least 3 times, again play it safe and keep a distance and only do most of your melee damage after you've dodged all their attacks so you don't get hit.
I couldn’t imagine doing this. Even when fighting normal enemies. They just randomly forget me as I am actively attacking them. It isn’t even an internet issue.
Red-LV120 for dummies, use Baizhi, find a high ground and use any gunner characters to bait the monster first, then start using Baizhi to slowly kill it ( it will take quite some time), but it does the job. Of course there are some of those dxmx red-lv120 that can't use such cheap tricks, because some of them got ranged-attack that chase you! Some don't, some do, and the newer updates are making boss type monsters an all around attackers!!! They can do melee and range attacks 😢
All enemies are relatively easy except of the prism party (those elemental cubes that are immune to certain type of dmg) Monkies- You can just put lil dumb monkies in detention just move them off cliff and focus on big monkie cause he keeps u in vortex and cancels your attack The bear- just build your pistol or magic thingy character and stand on elevated area scoprions-same as bear rock golem- I mean come on he is literally just walking disabled rock he is stunning himself every time he attacks you can surely kill so disabled enemy 2 birbs-just try to focus one usually u can do it if no then dodge them and then damage best to use longer ranged characters to avoid the close drilling attack Young murmur- just dodge and try to use ranged characters and avoid the tick tack (purple one) he can use explosion that deals aoe damage and it can easly one shot u rose shroom- i guess dodge the lasers and try to kill smol ones if there are any cause their lasers damage the least but are fastest so harder to dodge roboclaw guy- he has 40th lvl and is really disabled (creates attacks that block his attacking range) so just use ranged liek always traffic lights- ANNOYING AF SHEAT you can push one outside of road down on ground and deal with one at time still hard but definetly big change from 3 ars enemies ultimate saurian- just overaly easy enemy with easy attacks to dodge chasm chonk- pretty easy attacks use ranged and keep distance ig sabyrkin- i mean its boar so fighting it needs to be boaring (He did u get it cause boring but boaring cause of boars :) I need to unalive myself)
i love how when you "die" the game says "your consciousness is gradually blurring...better be more careful next time" basically implying your character is dying
I beat lightcrusher with Verina in a couple of tries, but when it's a group of enemies and you also have to fight the lock-on system and the camera trying to bury itself between the rocks and plants nearby... forget about it.
I beat that bear with lvl 1 pistol characters, as it's easy to get the bear stuck in the tree and you can farm him then. It'll just take quite some time and sometimes the intro skills put you into the attack range again.
one more way to do those dodge counters... is delayed dodge counter... same thing, dodge but you delay a bit before attacking / countering, this works best with enemies that has consecutive atks... and well, counters like these has an i-frame so you won't get damaged.
To kill bear you can just stand on tree roots out of his reach and spam range attack, I used mortefi, same goes for three scorpions, just stand on container near them
yeah, it is not presented to players enough for them to remember but the dodge counter attack bonus is %hp based like bosses. devs are basically saying you are supposed to beat them with skills not brute force.
I've beaten all special monsters except for the pair of howlers, those two attacking together were just too annoying for me. The terrain has rocks and trees that also don't help with dodging their ranged strikes. I would suggest placing a temporary waypoint next to a special monster so you can fast travel.

I spent an hour each on the clang bang & bear proped up on a slightly elevated place where the attacks don't reach with verina who has a healer build Takes time but works for me who can't dodge well
Some characters like jianxin have a relatively long window for counters with stuff like heavy attacks or sometimes skill (with constellations jianxin gets an even longer window with skill) just an idea for counters
theres actually this trick i discover first on top of the tree and the other one is the huge rock near by the big tree which you can just take your time relaxing killing the bear so far only the bear
A couple days ago someone invited me to try to beat the new tiger thing, we tried like 20 times but we finally did it. I'm level 53 and the reward was meh for my account, but it was a very satisfying moment when we finally beat it :D
one trick i figured out in co-op is aslong as 1 person remains the enemy wont respawn and heal so if someone dies stay alive until he returns that way we beat two 100lvl wolfs
I remember suddenly being ambushed by that giant hulking 120 buffed crazed bear, all 3 in my team died as I couldn't get away faster while it's pummeling them nonstop... Bro, I was level 30 capped! Give me a break?!!! And you thought I'll learn my lesson to not just aimlessly wander around any suspicious area in the map...No I went back at it, Rover+ Baizhi+ Yangyang in my team. Rover was the first man down alert. I was busy spamming Bazhi's skills for healing and shield (cuz I got her the overlord turtle guy as echo), Yangyang kept whittling away the d@ng bear's health bar while rushing up and down, zooming in and out like a cadi, just bearly evading those sick claws... Mind you I'm a poor builder of my characters. Baizhi has 7k health, Yangyang is 5k, and boy oh boy!!!! My fingers were sweating like crazy I could bearly swipe the screen joystick. I could not believe It when I finally fell that big oonga boonga down...I think I got an achievement also hshshsh That was the longest battle I've done in WuWa
I somehow beat the Lvl 120 Tiger in the new area first try and another Lvl 120 monster on my second after running away, albeit with lvl 70 characters it was still a pain in the butt, I also encountered 2 new phantom Tacet Discord echoes at completely random and I was like, “Is this what I think it is?- Yes it is.”

I think for me one of them just fell off and died and I killed the other 2 in under 20 seconds
Just kick the rocketeer off and the fight became much easier

Love this vid :D Fun thing u can do is delay the dodge counter so that you can utilize something called 'i-frames' (invincibility frames) which means you can do a dodge counter while the bear attacks you so u don't get hurt!

at 6:50 the "pardon me sir" chain made me laugh hysterically for no reason-
there's a spot on the roots where the bear can get stuck for a while you can lure him in when he's dashing the get a gunner to deal damage or you can go coop and when one dies another will buy time and run a round til you get back so the health won't reset

its actually really easy to beat the bear just get on top of the tree thats near the bear take any resonator that can do long range attacks and spam it. it does take a long time but its easy just make sue to not stay to close or itll hit you
The proof of a hero in the end is such a neuron activation for me and now that I think about it this is definitely what I needed to fight these guys and the tips is really useful too!
I realized this with the Dual Flower like boss and I thought it was a game mechanic.
Later I discovered it only worked against those particular enemies.

there's also another trick to this the cheese strategy, if u lure the bear at the big tree branch behind it climb up and the bear somehow will try to get up with you, and get it stuck there, the bear will not move and stay still and just use any gun character to shoot the stuck bear.
with enough tries and got em stuck i die 2 times getting it right and i finally kill this FUCKING BEAR!!!!!!!!!!! lol.

I discovered these "Red Boss" when I've had unlocked 5 Star Echoes :') that makes me feel like "You're lazy, explore more"
I got killed 8 times with lvl 50 characters and managed to kill it with Mortefi, Baizhi, and Verina.
I hate The Mighty LightCrusher I co-op with my friend we’ve been trying to kill it for days we finally got it to a quarter of health and then I didn’t have any more revival things so I got killed again😭💔
Best part of these types of special enemies it actually helps you practice the dodge countrr and parry combat system
the first one i encountered by accident while hunting for havoc dreadmane was lightcrusher hahah turned out to be the hardest hahaha but i got better in dodging after that

The first elite that I encountered was the bear exploring. Didn't realize that it was 120 until a few minutes into the fight (I was at max lvl 40). It was all hopes and prayers placed on Chixia playing tag with the bear.
What I do is use my encoure and climb rocks/trees to block enemy attacks and just spam normal attack. Cheesing is the best!

Trick to defeating Spearback King if you got skill issues or extremely underleveled. Lure them at the back of the tree where they get stuck, use someone with range attacks to deal damage, if you're impatient but have good dodging skills, you can use someone with high DPS just make sure you can quickly return to the safe spot where the bear's attack can't reach you. That's how I defeated it at Level 50 with only Verina remaining.
Trick to defeating the special enemies that are more than two: Make sure to target only one of them until K.O. while just try to dodge the other's attacks. If I remember correctly, they won't spawn back even if you get K.O.ed which lessens the enemies you have to defeat on next attempts. For the monkey bosses, avoid getting caught by the hurricane as it's gonna trap you in place and make it harder to dodge their attacks.
For Protective Scales, play it safe and do most of your damage when it's activating its circling laser attack, just dodge it once to get inside the circle as you won't get attacked once your inside and the lasers are still ongoing. For mightly lightcrusher, you do need some skills for this as I was struggling with them too until I got to Level 70, but try to make use of Geochelone's shield if you have it so you don't get one hit, when it tries to claw you just be ready to dodge at least 3 times, again play it safe and keep a distance and only do most of your melee damage after you've dodged all their attacks so you don't get hit.
I couldn’t imagine doing this. Even when fighting normal enemies. They just randomly forget me as I am actively attacking them. It isn’t even an internet issue.

Red-LV120 for dummies, use Baizhi, find a high ground and use any gunner characters to bait the monster first, then start using Baizhi to slowly kill it ( it will take quite some time), but it does the job. Of course there are some of those dxmx red-lv120 that can't use such cheap tricks, because some of them got ranged-attack that chase you! Some don't, some do, and the newer updates are making boss type monsters an all around attackers!!! They can do melee and range attacks 😢
All enemies are relatively easy except of the prism party (those elemental cubes that are immune to certain type of dmg)
Monkies- You can just put lil dumb monkies in detention just move them off cliff and focus on big monkie cause he keeps u in vortex and cancels your attack
The bear- just build your pistol or magic thingy character and stand on elevated area
scoprions-same as bear
rock golem- I mean come on he is literally just walking disabled rock he is stunning himself every time he attacks you can surely kill so disabled enemy
2 birbs-just try to focus one usually u can do it if no then dodge them and then damage best to use longer ranged characters to avoid the close drilling attack
Young murmur- just dodge and try to use ranged characters and avoid the tick tack (purple one) he can use explosion that deals aoe damage and it can easly one shot u
rose shroom- i guess dodge the lasers and try to kill smol ones if there are any cause their lasers damage the least but are fastest so harder to dodge
roboclaw guy- he has 40th lvl and is really disabled (creates attacks that block his attacking range) so just use ranged liek always
traffic lights- ANNOYING AF SHEAT you can push one outside of road down on ground and deal with one at time still hard but definetly big change from 3 ars enemies
ultimate saurian- just overaly easy enemy with easy attacks to dodge
chasm chonk- pretty easy attacks use ranged and keep distance ig
sabyrkin- i mean its boar so fighting it needs to be boaring (He did u get it cause boring but boaring cause of boars :) I need to unalive myself)

I beat lightcrusher with Verina in a couple of tries, but when it's a group of enemies and you also have to fight the lock-on system and the camera trying to bury itself between the rocks and plants nearby... forget about it.

I beat that bear with lvl 1 pistol characters, as it's easy to get the bear stuck in the tree and you can farm him then.
It'll just take quite some time and sometimes the intro skills put you into the attack range again.
one more way to do those dodge counters... is delayed dodge counter... same thing, dodge but you delay a bit before attacking / countering, this works best with enemies that has consecutive atks... and well, counters like these has an i-frame so you won't get damaged.
To kill bear you can just stand on tree roots out of his reach and spam range attack, I used mortefi, same goes for three scorpions, just stand on container near them

yeah, it is not presented to players enough for them to remember but the dodge counter attack bonus is %hp based like bosses. devs are basically saying you are supposed to beat them with skills not brute force.
If there is a body of water that's deep enough, you can also drown them for effectively a 1 hit KO.

Of all the special enemies, the Mighty Lightcrusher was definitely the hardest for me.
I've beaten all special monsters except for the pair of howlers, those two attacking together were just too annoying for me.
The terrain has rocks and trees that also don't help with dodging their ranged strikes.
I would suggest placing a temporary waypoint next to a special monster so you can fast travel.
Ngl, you're the first female TH-camr I subscribe. And this is your first video I watch. I didn't know that counter attack, I just brute force em. Those enemy are not that powerful but in early game.. They're nightmare to fight.

If the enemy doesn't move that fast, I just run in circles and attack from a long range using encore. It was useful for certain enemies
I just started a few days ago and one of the special enermy got stuck and i spent 10 mins killing it with my ranged character

Some characters like jianxin have a relatively long window for counters with stuff like heavy attacks or sometimes skill (with constellations jianxin gets an even longer window with skill) just an idea for counters
I cheesed the King Spearback Bear with level 40 Mortefi. Took me 30 minutes but it was worth it at the time
30 minutes! :O You're so patient! The lv 1 team took 3 minutes to defeat the bear. But that doesn't include all the failed attempts before that!
theres actually this trick i discover first on top of the tree and the other one is the huge rock near by the big tree which you can just take your time relaxing killing the bear so far only the bear

the trick I used to kill that bear at low level: Altoo in a position bear cant reach, m1 attack until bear ded, and a lot of patience lmao

A couple days ago someone invited me to try to beat the new tiger thing, we tried like 20 times but we finally did it.
I'm level 53 and the reward was meh for my account, but it was a very satisfying moment when we finally beat it :D

one trick i figured out in co-op is aslong as 1 person remains the enemy wont respawn and heal so if someone dies stay alive until he returns that way we beat two 100lvl wolfs
I remember suddenly being ambushed by that giant hulking 120 buffed crazed bear, all 3 in my team died as I couldn't get away faster while it's pummeling them nonstop... Bro, I was level 30 capped! Give me a break?!!! And you thought I'll learn my lesson to not just aimlessly wander around any suspicious area in the map...No I went back at it, Rover+ Baizhi+ Yangyang in my team. Rover was the first man down alert. I was busy spamming Bazhi's skills for healing and shield (cuz I got her the overlord turtle guy as echo), Yangyang kept whittling away the d@ng bear's health bar while rushing up and down, zooming in and out like a cadi, just bearly evading those sick claws... Mind you I'm a poor builder of my characters. Baizhi has 7k health, Yangyang is 5k, and boy oh boy!!!! My fingers were sweating like crazy I could bearly swipe the screen joystick. I could not believe It when I finally fell that big oonga boonga down...I think I got an achievement also hshshsh That was the longest battle I've done in WuWa

I somehow beat the Lvl 120 Tiger in the new area first try and another Lvl 120 monster on my second after running away, albeit with lvl 70 characters it was still a pain in the butt, I also encountered 2 new phantom Tacet Discord echoes at completely random and I was like, “Is this what I think it is?- Yes it is.”
Meenwile, I went behind the tree with encore, staying chil and atack until the bear died without even touching me or need to dodge lol
