      HybridCheef mounting wise you need either to buy the mounts and have them welded straight or find a donor version of the scooter with similar body lines and have that mount mounted welding is defiantly involved for sure

    I dropped 175cc qmb 4 stroke in my scooter, I had a 50cc 100cc big bore kit but finally just went for it, dropped right in no problem, 42 millimeter carb racing CDI no limiter, racing coil, new valves and cam, anything that can be done has been done, custom exhaust designed and welded by myself, fastest I've got it was about 70 and I had plenty left I was scared to take it any faster with these small ass tires. Next step is to paint it because it looks like complete s***, I love pulling up to people thinking it's a 50cc and flying by their ass, anybody that knows scooters will know it's not a 50cc just by hearing it.

    If anyone is looking to swap a 150cc into a 50cc frame without welding a damn thing find you a 50cc scooter with a 1PE40QMB engine. It's a 2T. The 150cc has exactly the same mount dimensions as the 150cc long case The output shaft may have to be changed if you want to use the 50cc wheel.

      The scooter honestly wasn't terrible now it does help that they make that same scooter in a 150 so the frame was basically identical minus mounts. But that swap vs my ruckus clone is probably grab another ruckus clone before doing a 150 swap again

      Going from the 50cc to the 125 or 150cc you need a top mount engine bracket there was 1 engine that was a 150 they made as a bottom mount like the 50ccs but I heard there hard to find and when you do find them there expensive I forget the engine code for them

    Woahwoahwoah... Woah... Let me get this straight. You "swapped" a 50 cc engine with a 150? WHAT? you can do that?
    ... Quick question. Got a scooter with a kg10sa motor. It's a kymvo gy6 clone. Do you think I can do the same thing? It looks just like a standard long case gy6. . . Man you have my head spinning.

    • @RspecNick
      @RspecNick  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Yea you can swap any kind of motor you want really it depends on how much $ your willing to spend or what all you know you should be fine since you can already solve most of your scooter issues anyways hardest part would be welding in a mount for it and relocatating shock mounts if needed along with anything electrical that doesn't match up to the swap engine

      I used a 125cc big bore kit on another 50cc scooter. That was awesome and a helluva lot cheaper, but a purpose built engine would give me more peace of mind while I'm flying down the road going 50+ mph.
