I was so addicted to Greggs cheese and onion pasties during my time in UK. I miss them alot. Thank you so much for the recipe now we can make them at home 😊
Honestly Sohbia your pasties look incredible! Greggs are getting flatter and flatter with hardly any filling in them these days. Keep up the great work with your videos. I really enjoy them and you make cooking look so easy 💕xx
Looks great. I have the exact same oven and it's BRILLIANT!!! Can't wait to try these, perhaps with a little Worcestershire Sauce sprinkled on the filling before baking.
Yes they do look really good. I am not really a pasty eater any more, however, having had an air fryer for the last couple of years and Asda pastry, I couldnt resist, I have eaten them more often. My favourite is chicken and stuffing, a good way to use up sunday dinner left overs. I havent tried cheese and onion yet, as I teenager, they were my favourite, so thank you for your recipe, they are next on my list. Jane
We like to add some dried herbs a mix of fine sea salr and dried rosemary/thyme/sage/oragano/garlic granules/paprika often we will add turkish mild chilli flakes depending on the dish.
WELL , We have just made Four of your Cheese n onion Greggs Style pasties , and there is only one word to say ?! WOW ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, AB SO LOOTLY LOVELY ,,,,,,Thank you Sohbia. Perfecto Mundo.
Thanks Carol. I would do around 150-160 degrees for around 10 mins, if frozen you could wrap in foil for 10 and then cook for a further 10mins uncovered until fully done xx
That is one of my favourite pasties from greggs and if I go in I always get that one,and these look delicious they just look as if they were done in Gregg's,might give these a go but I might have to do them in my conventional oven as they might be too big to fit in my ninja air fryer draws unless I do them a bit smaller in width
Yummmmm, these pasties look so delicious. Thank you for this video, really helpful. Can this Air Fryer Oven cook a family size 12" frozen pizza or is too small for that?
Av just bought one of these ovens & am definitely going t try & cook your pasties, but one question.. does the bottom of the pasty fully cook or did you have to turn them over.. Cheers
@@sohbia4351 thank you f that... Definitely doin those & corned-beef & potatoe pasties t try the oven out.. Literally just got the oven yesterday.. 🤣 👍
Hi Wendy I didn’t turn the temperature up, its just that when the time was up I pressed the on button to turn the light on and it reset to its default time and temp when you switch the airfryer oven on. I left at 180 the whole way through. Hope that makes sense
@@sohbia4351 Hi Sohbia, thanks for your prompt reply. I understand what you are saying and I thank you for your explanation. I didn’t see you touch the screen other than when you started and I particularly took note of it being 350c as mine only goes up to 200c. Thanks again, I’ll definitely give the pasties a go now that I know I don’t need the extra power that I haven’t got. Take care, regards Wendy.
Hi Eddie. I had lots of questions like this so I made some meat pasties where I show you the bottom as well. I have linked below: th-cam.com/video/DtT-XzfllKA/w-d-xo.html
To be honest Im sure they will still be amazing without the granules but yes if you want to you can mince the onion or just cook a little extra in the pan then add it in x
Well George. First of all let me correct you there because its not just a small fan assisted oven. It actually has multi-functions including air frying, baking, dehydrating, grill, rotisserie, toaster etc. Secondly it is small & compact compared to your traditional oven which in turn cooks food faster with the help of the top & bottom heating elements. So if your food is cooked faster then you are saving money as-well. Energy efficient & cheaper to run. All these benefits and so many more. Hope this has helped you understand a little better 😊

I just left on the 1st preset which is the bread icon and just adjusted the time and temp

At what point did you turn the oven up to 230c as you didn’t mention that? They went in at 180 yet the oven was showing 230 when you took them out.

You can use fresh onions and mince them instead?

Your new Hysapientia oven is just a small fan-assisted oven. So what are the real benefits form using a conventional oven?

@@sohbia4351 Thank you for taking the time to explain this.
At the start of cooking you set the time to 180c then when cooking time had finished why did the temperature read 230c
Because when the time finishes and the airfryer rests - it automatically shows the first preset which is set at 230c. Hope that makes sense
@@sohbia4351 Thank you for your reply Sohbia and yes it makes perfect sense and by the way loved the video.
nicely done
Thank you 😃
Were you trying to sell us the air fryer or the recipe
Just sharing a delicious recipe using a great air fryer oven 🤷♀️
I assume since you kept your ninja air fryer then this isnt as good?
The oven is amazing. I kept the Ninja because I still use it..
Why did it state 230 on heating setting when it finished it was supposed to be 180
Once the timer is up and I switch it back on.. the timer resets to the preset and appears on the panel. Hope that makes sense
So why did your oven say 230 at the end?
Hi. When the timer stops at the end it resets. Thats why.
I guess they are really cheese, potato and onion pasties!
Thats whats in a greggs cheese & onion pasty too so yeah
Wow, amazing and sooooo much better than Greggs. People would queue up for yours and leave Greggs alone 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
