Prince Andrew 'Judged In Court Of Public Opinion' | "He's A Pompous, Very Rude A**e"

  • Prince Andrew may be evicted from his Windsor mansion, the Royal Lodge, by the end of the year following the release of Epstein files. The files contain affidavits and sworn testimony of accusations against Prince Andrew from two women. The anti-monarchy group Republic has called on the police to formally investigate Prince Andrew. The Duke of York may lose his home, the Royal Lodge, as a result.
Royal commentator Rafe Heydel-Mankoo says Prince Andrew has been judged “in the court of public opinion" when he continued to associate with known sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
There are calls for the FBI to release CCTV footage from Epstein's mansion, and for the Met Police to properly investigate Prince Andrew's allegations.

He has abused the privilege of his royal status and used it as a ‘get out of jail free card’ to circumvent scrutiny that would apply to the ‘hoi polloi’. He has avoided the consequences of his self-indulgent, immoral and alleged illegal behaviour by virtue of his membership of an anachronistic institution. His nauseating, nineteenth century sense of entitlement reflects badly on the rest of the family and makes it less certain that the monarchy can survive far into the twenty first century.

It is symptomatic of institutions with roots in the middle ages in the UK which fail to perform,an accident waiting to happen . One of my relatives served with him in the Falklands and PA had a reputation then of being a rude, pompous oaf (although, unlike his obnoxious nephew, his bravery in military service wasn't questioned). I've heard similar from police officers who've dealt with him, but I get the impression that PA is so arrogant, foolish and self-important that he wouldn't see through a clever user who flattered and fawned over him, like Epstein. Not defending him, but I also wonder if he's being paraded as a scapegoat to take the heat off other parties who would rather not have their associations with Epstein in the public domain. I doubt if we'll ever know the full truth of what went on.

My thoughts exactly I'm also not defending him but I keep saying he's being used because of who he is ..keep the focus on him .to like you say it keeps the heat off others .strange that nobody else has come forward with accusations against others ..I do believe Andrew was involved .but I also believe there are far more important people out there that's just as guilty. Even worse if you can get any worse ..

Prince Andrew is my least favourite of all the Royal family, his actions have been nothing short of a disgrace,
however this furore over trying to evict him out of Royal Lodge is inhumane, he has been stripped of his rank within the Royal family ,he has lost any respect from the British public, however trying to kick him out of the home he has occupied for many years is as low as you can get ,
When you realise how fragile life is ,and how in a second it can end ,you will not dehumanise someone over bricks and mortar, but cherish the life given he is still the Kings brother, though he has been rightly pushed out of the Royal circle ,he should not be treated with such contempt ,that in his elderly age looking to relocate not of choice,
He has messed up.think he knows that but this crucifixion. Has gone to far leave him.alone .
