King Charles Is Prince Andrew’s ‘ONLY Source Of Income’ | How Disgraced Prince Gets Money

  • Prince Andrew's financial situation has been a topic of much speculation and confusion. While he used to receive an annual payment from the Queen through the Duchy of Lancaster and a pension from the Royal Navy, it is uncertain where he currently gets his money from. It is known that he sold a property called Sunningdale Park for £15 million, but it is unclear how much of that money he has left after splitting it with his ex-wife, the Duchess of York. Additionally, he and Fergie bought a Swiss chalet, the sale of which was mired in controversy. Prince Andrew is known for his extravagant lifestyle, enjoying yachts and private jets funded by wealthy friends. However, compared to the people he associates with, he is considered a "pauper prince."
Recently, Prince Andrew has faced additional financial burdens. He is now responsible for the upkeep of Windsor Great Lodge, which costs £2 million a year. The king has also decided to stop funding his private security, amounting to £3 million. These expenses, totaling £5 million, are in addition to other costs he incurs. The king has been trying to convince Andrew to move into a smaller property, Frogmore Cottage, so that Windsor Lodge can be used by Prince William and Catherine. However, Andrew claims to have a cast iron lease and is reluctant to give up his status symbol.
It is worth noting that Prince Andrew's expenses are not funded by British taxpayers. Instead, they come from the king's private fund. The king has already informed non-working royals that their funding will be reduced, so it is likely that Andrew's stipend has also been affected. The prince's financial situation is further complicated by the involvement of his ex-wife, Sarah Ferguson, who has had her own money problems in the past but is currently contributing to the household income. It remains to be seen if her contributions will be enough to cover the significant outgoings.

According to the media, Charles (not the King because he is not fulfilling his duties) has taken Andrew's security away from him so many times, the poor guy must have had about 1000 security officers at any given time. If Charles takes his security away about 300 more times, Andrew won't have his security paid for anymore.

If Andrew wanted to start making amends he would voluntarily move out of Royal Lodge. Instead his usual arrogance and entitlement kicks in, just as it did when he was living the high life with his billionnaire friends.
Andrew had rich friends when he might have been useful to them but he has absolutely no influence now. I bet the friends have faded away.

It's very simple. Andrew has a legal lease on Royal Lodge. That lease is with the Crown Estate, not KC3. If Andrew can afford to run and maintain his home in accordance with the terms of his lease, whatever the King wants or thinks about where he lives is irrelevant. If he can't, then he has various other options available, and doubtless he and his financial/legal advisers will work something out, as and when necessary. Whatever the King decides to pay personally towards Andrew's security and living expenses is an entirely separate matter, and one which is private between them, since it does not involve the public purse.

It isn’t within The King’s power to evict Andrew who would have to surrender his lease which still has something in the region of 50 years remaining. I believe as part of the Lease Agreement Andrew spent in the region of £11m renovating the Royal Lodge which was offset against the cost of the original 75 year lease

Think about it, how would you feel if you lost out on a job to a prince? You needed that income, but the prince could have lived in one of the many palaces owned by his king/queen and been supported in a wealthy lifestyle by HRH. It is cruel for people who don't need to work to take paying jobs from the rest of us.

Andrew did have some work done on the place at his own expense and is reluctant to leave there. This is a sticky situation for the king in any case. I think he should downsize
Fergie bought a 3 mill house in London..so she can live there and pay for herself...She's leeched off Andrew for years and he financially supported his girls as well as her. The girls are not Working Royals and the Queen refused to promote them to that role despite Andrew repeatedly asking. They're too close to their vulgar parents and were pestering Charles not so long back, to pick up the tab for their father. The girls have got their mother back in they would want their father back too. It was Bea and Fergie who talked him into doing that interview with Maitlis. Look how that worked out for him. No to the Yorks.

Sarah has her own apartment somewhere & she could go to it making them both independent of each other. A hard decision for King Charles but Royal Lodge could be put to so much better use. ie. Visiting Dignitaries or other Royals to be within the Windsor Park area as well. Not everyone will be satisfued but Orince William will want larger accommodation once family starts expanding with the children's friends, visiting cousins etc...🇨🇦

Andrew isn't going around acting like he is royal. He is part of the family and should be allowed to go to family gatherings such as church. There is a line in the work/family relationship and I don't think Andrew needs to be shunned by his family and made an outcast. It is an individual decision within the family whether to interact with him on a personal level. On the other hand, hawwy still goes around acting like he is royal and being a traitor at the same time. Why doesn't anyone talk about the information he gave about the places in the palaces and their locations which could be a breach in security? Andrew is laying low and hawwy is still attacking while using HRH title still! That virginia matress was in it for the money from the beginning. And I am waiting for more data to be revealed and to see what the judgement is at that time. Corruption abounds with who hawwy associates with and also the coverup of his visa. Wonder if the wife is the jane doe that says she would have security threats against her.
