  • The Duke of York is facing the prospect of having to cover the costs of security at his Windsor home in the future as Sir Keir Starmer suggests that the police should investigate s*xual abuse allegations against Prince Andrew.
    The King is reportedly planning to stop providing private funding for the security operation at Royal Lodge. To stay in the 30-room property, Prince Andrew will have to come up with a significant amount of money for security and maintenance. With no clear source of income and the house requiring extensive repairs, it poses a financial challenge for the Duke.
    Petrie Hosken speaks with The Sun's former royal editor Charlie Rae.

    Regarding the civil case accusation against PA, the lawyer David Bois said that his client VG would settle if the sum was substantial. As we know, the parties did settle and only on PA's part as he didn't want the case to over-shadow his Mother's upcoming 70th jubilee. He did want to contest the accusation in court, where the case would be held not in the UK but USA. Then Bois said if PA wanted to contest the accusation later on, he would need to seek permission of VG to do so ?? (A deterrent?). PA also made the error of doing the 60 Minutes interview, which only attracted more criticism for him. His choices with whom he associated with are flawed and he is arrogant, but this is nothing new based on his upbringing and privileged life. As for VG, she was a willing participant in JE's operations (her family were aware she worked as a 'masseuse') and she procured other girls. So IMO she is not so innocent as portrayed and PA has been used as a scapegoat to detract from the many other notable clients who were involved with JE.

  • @graphiquejack
    @graphiquejack 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +26

    I would guess THAT’S why he paid the settlement. So VG wouldn’t press charges about the allegation in London. If there’s no victim willing or able to come forward, then the UK police can do nothing. And he’s clearly never going to the US again, unless he’s absolutely forced to.

    Why are you minimizing? "In a sense brought it on himself"? Seriously? Andrew has spent his entire life walking away from consequences for horrific behaviour. Andrew is a victim of himself as so many other people are victims of Andrew.
    The titles need to be removed. All of them, including the Prince title, which is the easiest for Charles to remove (they are all easy to remove, just do it). They have had forever to deal with this and they have just turned up their arrogant noses at the public and told everyone to go blow it out their ear.
    Are you listening to yourself woman? Andrew is the person in this family who has done the most wrong. How does him being even more of a disgrace by selling his family out and selling stories better his position? This E thing has barely begun.
    If Andrew had the sense he was born with (if he was born with any, because there is no indication he was), he would stay behind a locked door with his narcissistic head down because there is plenty more coming his way. He could have quietly walked away and not antagonized the public, but no, he had to throw his weight around and demand he be the center of it.
    If he is so disordered and so selfish he won't go quietly, the man has done enough he should have long ago been held accountable for, throw the book at him so to speak and let him take the consequences he has earned. This family needs to learn they are not above consequences.
    If Charles doesn't grow a pair and do his job, the British government needs to step in and sort this family out, because the have made an International disgrace of Britain. This is not their country to use and abuse, it belongs to the people.
    Charles is a joke. He needs to step aside and give William a chance to clean this gutter mess up.

Or did you leave your selected seggs vessel alone and stop harrassing her/him for a little tickle?

      My belief from what I know and have read is, innocent until proven guilty. They are doing the same thing to former President Donald Trump in the USA. I was stunned when I heard that the Lady of Justice has been turned upside down. I always thought she was blind. Something strange is going on. P. Andrew should not have allowed to have himself photographed especially with a young girl, regardless of being 16 17 18. Most people knew about Epstein long ago. Was it not Fergie that met with someone to sell P. Andrew's meeting with JE for $500,000, called pay to play expression?

      @@Shazzadut1Fergie isn’t innocent, but she does write books and has done endorsements over the years. I doubt she has $10M from that but at least she hasn’t sat on her ass. As for Andrew, I don’t think the police can do anything. The age of consent is 16 in the UK, however VG says it wasn’t consensual. So while there is an alleged crime to investigate, she’s taken a deal and my guess is a big factor in that is she wouldn’t pursue a trial in the UK over that incident. If there’s no victim, what can the police do? Can they investigate even without her testimony and participation? Maybe but then they’d need more witnesses or evidence, wouldn’t they?

      Sarah's London apartment was purchased for her buy Beatrice and Eugenie.
      There isn't a complaint against Andrew in the UK so, there is nothing to investigate.@@Shazzadut1

      @@Lovesapuzzle He is a disgusting character, a runt that no one chose to keep in line. The entitlement is still on display everytime he has shown his face. His brother evicted him and he threatened to write a book and he’s still being paraded around. He hasn’t moved. It isn't proof of a crime. I don't know what, if anything, transpired between them. It is possible that Andrew paid her off to make the story go away and spare his mother the embarrassment and spare himself his mother's rath. It is also possible that they had sex. Bottomline, we don't know. @@twingytwango6971
