THIS IS ESSENTIAL. physical sunscreens cover all of suns rays unlike chemical sunscreens but arent as cosmetically elegant. So our job is find physical sunscreen with highest spf that doesn't leave white cast.
Actually this was before....a mixture of the right chemical filters can offer soooo much higher protection ! If you look into some EU sunscreen formulated specifically for those who are prone to or at risk of skin cancer....the filters are generally all chemical !!!! Moreover when it comes to hyperpigmentation issues ...organic (chemical) filters are the best option ! I know in the US there isn't much choice ...but anyone has access to EU sunscreens...chemical one are just the BEST !!!

But as a person with a darker skin tone and knowing how difficult it is to find a sunscreen that works for our skin...I think it is important to avoid spreading missinformation ! You have a huge platform which means you have more responsability in what you share ! So please educate yourself and stop repeating the fear mongering speech of "reef safe" ( which has no scientific proof) and clean beauty !!! There are very valid resources out there that you can check out and learn !! Thank you !
I heard that the glow recipe watermelon glow one peels a lot can someone tell me if it actually does because I hear something different about it every single time 😭😭???!!
yep when its applied before makeup, the makeup starts to peel for some reason. but wearing it on its own is fine for almost everyone. so if u do buy it, maybe only wear it when u wont wear make up.

Chemical sunscreens work just as well as physical ones. No need to go for physical unless you're sensitive to chemical filters.

Try the minimalist sunscreens. I know for a fact that the SPF 50 doens't have a white cast and it's PA++++.
What about good old Neutrogena SPF 85+, is that ok on my brown skin.
