In this video, we have explained how to check KSEB meter reading in Malayalam and simple methods to understand daily electricity consumption without any special electricity consumption meter. Our method of electricity consumption calculator is purely based on reading from Digital electricity meter or digital energy method from KSEB. The model of energy meter in the case study is L&T1 Phase 2 wire AC static Watthour meter (EM101 +).
This is not any KSEB meter hack Malayalam video, it is purely KSEB bill calculation and KSEB bill Malayalam using readings from Digital energy meter L&T.
In this video, we have explained in detail how to do the electricity leakage test or earth leakage in Malayalam and explained simple technic for finding out electricity leakage or electricity leak without any expensive electricity leakage detector or electricity leakage tester. ഇപ്പോഴുള്ള ബില്ലിംഗ് സിസ്റ്റം (telescopic) നീതിയുക്തം അല്ല എന്നാണ് എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നത്. 250 യൂണിറ്റ് കഴിഞ്ഞാൽ മുഴുവൻ യൂണിറ്റി നു കൂടിയ ചാർജ് കൊടുക്കണം. ഈ രീതി ഒഴിവാക്കണം. അല്ലെങ്കിൽ ഒരു വീട്ടിലെ ആളുകളുടെ എണ്ണം അനുസരിച്ച് ഈ രീതി പുനർ നിർണയിക്കണം. അതായത് വെറും മൂന്ന് പേരുള്ള വീട്ടിലും 250 യൂണിറ്റുവരെ ഇളവുകളും മാതാപിതാക്കളും സഹോദരങ്ങളും കുട്ടികളും അടക്കം 12 പേരുള്ള വീട്ടിലും 250 യൂണിറ്റ് എങ്ങനെ ന്യായീകരിക്കപ്പെ ടും? ന്യായമായ ഒരു മാറ്റം ആവശ്യമാണ്.

ഭീമമായ ചാർജ് കറണ്ട് ചാർജ് അടക്കേണ്ടി വന്ന ഹോട്ടലിൽ കയറിയ കെ.എസ്.ഇ.ബി എഞ്ചിനീയർ ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടത് 4 പൊറോട്ടയും 1 പ്ലേറ്റ് ബീഫും.
അങ്ങനെ ഉടമ തന്നെ അയാൾക്ക് നേരിട്ട് ഭക്ഷണം സപ്ലൈ ചെയ്തു. നാല് പൊറോട്ട ഓരോന്ന് വീതം നാല് തവണയായാണ് അയാൾ സപ്ലൈ ചെയ്തത്. അങ്ങനെ ഭക്ഷണം കഴിഞ്ഞു ബില്ല് കൊടുത്തു. ബില്ല് കണ്ട എഞ്ചിനീയർ ഞെട്ടി. 850/- രൂപ ബില്ല്.
അയാൾ ഉടമയോട് ചോദ്യം ചെയ്തു. വില പ്രദർശിപ്പിച്ച ബോർഡിൽ ബീഫിന് 100/- രൂപയും പൊറോട്ടക്ക് പത്ത് രൂപയുമല്ലേ ഉള്ളൂ. അപ്പോ ആകെ 140 രൂപയല്ലേ ആകൂ. ഉടമ മറുപടി നൽകി .
"ഒരു പൊറോട്ട മാത്രമാണ് നിങ്ങൾ കഴിച്ചതെങ്കിൽ 10 രൂപ തന്നാൽ മതി. ഒരു ബീഫ് മാത്രമാണ് നിങ്ങൾ കഴിച്ചതെങ്കിൽ 100/- രൂപ മതി.
നിങ്ങൾ നാല് പൊറോട്ട കഴിച്ചു.
ആദ്യത്തെ പൊറോട്ടക്ക് 10/- രൂപ .
രണ്ടാമത്തെ പൊറോട്ടക്ക് 50/- രൂപ .
മൂന്നാമത്തെ പൊറോട്ടക്ക് 100/- രൂപ.
നാലാമത്തെ പൊറോട്ടക്ക് 200/- രൂപ.
ബീഫ് പൊറോട്ടൻ്റെ കൂടെ ആയതിനാൽ ബീഫിന് 200/- രൂപ."
എഞ്ചിനീയർ . " അതെന്ത് പരിപാടിയാ."
ഉടമ. "100 യൂണിറ്റ് വരെ 3.70 രൂപ. 200 യൂണിറ്റ് വരെ 6.40 രൂപ.250 യൂണിറ്റ് വരെ 7. 60 രൂപ എന്ന പരിപാടി ആകാമെങ്കിൽ എനിക്കും ഈ പരിപാടി ആകാം."
എഞ്ചിനീയർ."എന്നാലും 560 /- അല്ലേ ആവുള്ളൂ."
ഉടമ ." ഞാൻ ഒന്നിച്ച് തരാതെ നാല് തവണയായിട്ടല്ലേ കൊണ്ട് തന്നത് അതിന് 140 /- രൂപ."
എഞ്ചിനീയർ." ഞാൻ പറഞ്ഞോ നാലു തവണയായി തരാൻ. നിങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒന്നിച്ച് തന്നാൽ പോരേ? അതെന്നാ തോന്യാസമാ?"

ഉടമ." സാധാരണ അടക്കാറുള്ള ബില്ലിൻ മേൽ മേൽ പറഞ്ഞ എല്ലാ പരിപാടിയും ചെയ്ത് വെച്ച് കൂടിയ ബില്ലും തന്ന് സാധാരണ ബില്ലിനേക്കാളും തുക കൂടിയെന്നും പറഞ്ഞ് ഉപയോഗിക്കാത്ത കറണ്ടിൻമേൽ നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അഡീഷണൽ ഡെപ്പോസിറ്റ് ഈടാക്കാമെങ്കിൽ എനിക്ക് ഇതും ആകാം."
എഞ്ചിനീയർ കോപത്തോടെ . അപ്പോ ബാക്കി 50/- രൂപയോ?.

ഉടമ." ഞങ്ങൾ കാശ് തന്ന് ഞങ്ങളുടെ വീട്ടിൽ വെച്ച ഞങ്ങളുടെ മീറ്ററിന് നിങ്ങൾക്ക് വാടക വാങ്ങാമെങ്കിൽ എനിക്കും ഈ കാശ് വാങ്ങാം?"

നിങ്ങൾ ആദ്യത്തെ പൊറോട്ടക്ക് 10 രൂപ കൊടുത്ത് കഴിച്ചു. രണ്ടാമത്തേതിന് 50 രൂപ എന്നുകേട്ടപ്പോൾ നിങ്ങൾ വാങ്ങാൻ ഒന്ന് മടിക്കും, ചിലപ്പോൾ വാങ്ങും അപ്പോൾ 50+10=60 കൊടുക്കണം. But നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശപ്പ് അടങ്ങിയില്ല 3 മത്തെ പൊറോട്ട വാങ്ങണമെന്നുണ്ട് പക്ഷേ 100 കൊടുക്കണമെന്ന് കരുതി വേണ്ടന്ന് വച്ചു. നിങ്ങളുടെ വിശപ്പ് അടങ്ങിയിട്ടില്ലെന്ന് ഓർക്കണം. 100 രൂപ പോകുമെന്ന് കരുതി കഴിക്കാതിരിക്കുകയാണ്. ഇന്ന് ഇത്രയും മതി എന്ന് തീരുമാനിക്കും (സാധാരക്കാരന്റെ കാര്യമാണ് )
അങ്ങനെ ചെയ്യാൻ വേണ്ടിയാണ് kseb ഉം ഇത്തരം യൂണിറ്റ് rate കൾ കൊണ്ടുവന്നിരിക്കുന്നത്.
ജലം അമുല്യമാണ് വൈദ്യുതിയും, കേരളത്തിലെ മുഖ്യ വൈദ്യുത നിർമാണ സ്രോതസ് ജലമാണ്. അത് പാഴാക്കാതിരിക്കാം.
ഇന്ന് നമ്മുക്ക് മായം ചേർക്കാതെ കിട്ടുന്ന ഒരേഒരു സാധനം വൈദ്യുതി ആണ്.
നിങ്ങൾ ഒന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ചു നോക്കു നിങ്ങളുടെ മൊബൈൽ ഫോണിന് നിങ്ങൾ മാസവും എത്രരൂപ ചിലവിടുന്നു. വീട്ടിലെ ഒരംഗത്തിനു നെറ്റ് ഉപയോഗിക്കാൻ മാത്രം 250/300 കുറഞ്ഞത് വേണം. Call ചെയ്യാൻ അത്ര തന്നെ വേണം. ഒരാൾക്ക് മാസം 500/600 രൂപ വേണം. 3 പേരുള്ള ഒരുവീട്ടിൽ 1500/2000 രൂപ ഇതിനുവേണ്ടി മാത്രം ചിലവാകുന്നു.
3 അംഗമുള്ള വീട്ടിൽ ശരാശരി 1000/2000 കറന്റ് ബിൽ varum, ഇത് രണ്ടുമാസത്തേക്കാണ് എന്നോർക്കണം. അപ്പോൾ മാസം 500/1000. ഇത് എല്ലാവരുടെയും ഉപയോഗത്തിനു ശേഷമാണ്.
ഈ വൈദ്യുതി കൊണ്ട് എന്തൊക്കെ ഉപയോഗങ്ങളാണ് എന്നൊന്ന് ചിന്തിച്ചുനോക്കു.
Daily light, fan, ac, മോട്ടോർ, mixer, fridge ee പറയുന്ന മൊബൈൽ അങ്ങനെ എന്തിനെല്ലാം ഉപയോഗിക്കുന്നു. ഈ ആവശ്യങ്ങൾക്കെല്ലാം കൂടിയാണ് മാസം 500/1000.

Now, I need your advise. In my meter only one "A" is shown after V and before PF. No A P & A N. Is it normal in meter..I am very much doubtful of leakage because of heavy bill but cannot switch off complete. ..

Substantial earth leakage over time is generally prevented by the ELCB (The device between the main incoming CB and the distributions CBs ELCB = Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker).
In the distribution box used in the video the ELCB is rated 40A through current and trip at 30mA differential (earth) current.
Unless somebody tampers with the ELCB, there is no possibility of "leakage" current exceeding 0.03A. It is designed such that earth leakage that is large enough to be seen as a difference in the phase and neutral current in the meter will not be permitted by the ELCB. The 0.03A is decided based on electric shock tolerance of humans. This current may cause a nasty shock if it flows through the body, but it will trip the ELCB before the shock becomes fatal.
Old houses may not have an ELCB because the technology and stipulation are relatively recent.
I completely agree to your points theoretically... For you information ELCB is old technology... presently what we are using is RCCB, but we all name it as ELCB...
Ok come to the point... Practically for many reason RCCB "may not" trip even if there is leakage. I will give some example.. if leakage is happening somewhere between energy meter and DB, if leakage is less than 0.03 A, if RCCB get stuck due to age..., in many houses additional wiring after construction for example new AC connection may have taken from energy meter output not from DB, wrong wiring (i have seen many place where electrician purposefully avoid RCCB tripping to hide some small leakage during wiring) etc... many more reasons...
So these small tips may help at least some people . Hope you understand it...
ELCB and RCCB are one and same thing. They measure the Differential current in the phase and neutral path. The difference in the phase and neutral current can happen if some of the phase current finds a parallel path through the earth to the distribution transformer neutral. This current could be due to leakage from aging wiring or old appliances, or through somebody's body.
0 03A residual current is quite small and a safe limit as a protective device.
ELCB (RCCB residual current CB) are available with many different tripping currents. When there is nuisance tripping, one could use a CB with say 0.2A residual current.
Bypassing protection device is pure stupidity.

@@ranganathansanjayan7995 Both ELCB and RCCB are used for the same purpose, i.e. to provide protection against electric shocks. But, their operating principle and wiring connections in the system are different. ELCB is connected to phase, neutral and earth wires, while RCCB is connected to phase and neutral wires only.

എനിക്ക് വന്ന current bill 13300 × 4 മാസം. വീട്ടിൽ average reading 442 unit. എന്നാൽ കഴിഞ്ഞ ബില്ലിൽ 1648 unit വന്നു. ചോദിച്ചപ്പോൾ പറഞ്ഞത് earth ആവുന്നുണ്ടെന്നാണ്. Kw variyation കാണിക്കുന്നു (11,12....) ബാക്കി എല്ലാം normal ആണ്.. Pls reply

It will be also same... but in your meter there will be current reading for 3 phase and neutral and similarly for voltage also.... if possible i will try to make a video on 3 phase meter later on...
