As an INTJ, I like being intimidating because it keeps annyoing people away and if someone actually comes and talks to you and wants to become friends you only need to begin the analysis then.... I think this is why I don't have a lot of friends

If people don't like you for who you are, there's no point being friends with them. Real friends know you might seem intimidating because you have high expectations for how things should be done but also don't take it personally.

So true, but the friends that do push through it and reach the analysis stage, at least for me, tend to be the ones who actually become my friends. I love that confidence and look for it in all my potential friends and partners.

Imagine being an INTJ without self steem, or with a strong imbalance in their self steem. Like, a part of them believe they are better, they can achieve anything; society's pressure telling them they are wrong makes them doubt whether they can or if they are the toxic one (for being too blunt, too logic). I think the difference for being successful or not is to not let anybody's words affect you, as a sensitive intj, my advice is to believe in yourself to free your own potential.

I am an INTJ. I've always gotten INTJ in MBTI tests, including the "official one" that most use, and answered questions in depth. I also have bipolar disorder.
What's funny about this video is that I am an INTJ, but I'm capable of feeling gloomy and discouraged.
This video makes INTJs seem like borderline sociopathic power houses lol.
INTJs often times have a nihilistic view on life because if an intuitive and judgmental we are. Our introverted nature also keeps us aware of our surrounding, world events, and keeps us to our thoughts. If an INTJ is acutely aware of a deteriorating planet, we don't simply stand on it not caring as it burns.
Not every INTJ is outgoing, and it does depend on their environment or personal events taking place, such as family issues, relationship issues, or financial problems.
We don't always build ladders for ourselves. We're not always hyper motivated. We don't always make the right choices. We can be emotional, easily iratated, and impulsive, because after we criticize an event we've observed, thought about, judged from an analytical perspective, we may act assuming that we know what's right based on our intuitive nature.
I have received comments regarding my seemingly cold and intimidating personality. There are people who complain about certain miniscule things that I don't or can't care about. However, I am very compassionate about the welfare of animals and nature.
Most of this video is mostly incorrect in the way it makes INTJs seem. We're not intimidating because of our ethics, we're intimidating because we're introverted, intuitive, thoughtful, and judgmental. These are pessimistic traits when interacting with extroverts or those who feel too much or are optimistic.
I really do hope people who are also INTJ didn't leave thinking they were some potential CEO "alpha" lol

If you have bipolar doesn’t make sense for you to be intj. You have uncontrollable feelings. Ntm 😂 there’s nothing to prove this is TH-cam. If you felt the need to take several tests and then alert ppl on TH-cam you are not an intj. An intj wouldn’t care

    • @rosieposie2191
      @rosieposie2191 ปีที่แล้ว

You're pretty ignorant if you think every intjs are not ceo "alpha" material just because that's who you are. There's more to a person than their mbti type- including family, peers and lifestyles. You come off too eager to shoot down people who have high hopes for themselves just because you couldn't get yours. Typical sour loser, regardless of their mbti type. No one has achieved stuff by discouragement, but instead from encouragement either from within or from an outside source in the depths of discouragement. I have lots of intjs in my life and i am one myself. Sucks for you that you can't relate but we certainly can.😂

    • @rosieposie2191

And I'm not about to talk about your over filtered pfp that reeks of immature fantasy emotes and insecurity hiding your real face to seem more presentable despite wanting attention to your face by putting it out for everyone to see but still with filters layered.😂 honestly i can't see somone who does that to be an intj but hey whatever you wish to think you are, if it helps you stay off the meds and other people's biz. But really though, intjs are more put together in my experience rather than put out messy pfp like you do frfr. My ocd couldn't handle such blurred proportions and color coordinations. As an INTJ, I feel like my biggest problem is duality. A part of me doesn’t give a crap about anything and I feel cold, but on the other hand, I care about the bigger picture and genuinely want the world to be a perfect place. Perhaps my indifference towards everything stems from an over-perfectionistic attitude. If things can’t be ideal the way I want it, I’d rather it just not exist altogether. This has legitimately caused me problems at work but has also given me strength to walk away from pointless relationships. Duality can be a blessing and a curse.

Somebody will ask me a question and I go into a blank stare as my mind splits off in many directions like a lightning bolt or a tree branch thinking of alternate ways is of perceiving what they're talking about. I drive a truck and deliver food, I'm at the end of a long line of incompetent morons and it's a strategy all day to get done as efficiently as I can but there's so much I need to do that shouldn't need to be done it eats me up, the little bit of time at home that I should be doing stuff I'm sitting relaxing here usually with a couple glasses of burbon preparing to go to bed to get rest to do it again the next day of course beating myself up for all the things I should be doing. We are our own worst critics and yes the amount of thinking we do does take a toll But if something needs to be done you don't think twice about it you get it done but only when it needs to be done, the rest of the time you're not doing you're thinking it's the way we're programmed. Ignorance is Bliss knowledge can weigh you down.

I am often misread and misunderstood by these types of people and they seem to want to throw me under the bus for however it is they are perceiving me which usually has nothing to do with my intentions or reality. I also have recently encountered a particular example this as well.
Admittedly I going to do my best to try and convey the story without crossing the thresholds between ecsessive ambiguity and personal gossip as well as providing suffecient detail without rambling but I cannot state I will be successful in this.
I was recently attempting to strengthen some of my weaker skills in a game stream community I have built some pressence in and attempted to "bond build" when certain comments were made in jest by a moderator of the stream and I attempted to join the interaction by supplying what I deemed to be a humorous nature video of similair depiction to the recent joke in what amounted to simi secluded side thread of the community as I did desire to establish a stronger bond via humor in an open manor but simultaneously did not wish to cause distraction within the primairy chat.
As it turned out this was a grievous error upon my part, the video was deemed extreamly offensive and the other party proceded to announce they had been "wronged" in the primairy thread derailing the entire stream in such a way to draw attention to themselves and suggest the streamers community had been put at risk and they had simultaneously been in essence directly attacked.
I did publicly apologize and did try in private message to apologize for my error further as I did wish to make amends for my genuine miscalculation but was blocked only after intitial apology after which they still continued to draw all attention from the community and from the streamer mid game.
Graciously the streamer I had built some relationship with did not outright ban me but did deal rather harshly and state that was essentally my one and only mistake I will ever be permitted to make after in essence "psychologically assulting" their moderator. (Notable, I am 90% certain I have been with the community and recognised to be an established regular for longer then this moderator has even been present)
Now, in retrospect I still do believe I did indeed make an error in judgment, but not only do I believe it was mishandled, I noticed that while the video did not technically exceed TOS (being arguably being essentally pg 13 in a stated 18+ community) it was still well beyond what I would normally EVER be willing to risk posting which then confused me as it was of very significant deviation from MY norms. This will be important momentarily.
After that also took more careful note of when they appeared in neighboring communities as not to instigate trouble aside from careful posts to indicate my presence which resulted in immediate displeasure from the individual, I also noted that any stream they entered was quickly derailed by them in order to essentally be redirected into praising them by both community and streamer alike, in fact, they seem to jump from stream to stream just long enough to do this and repeat.
It was at this point I realized they are a very unhealthy isfp who has fallen to inverted negative narcissism and is horribly, near tragically unaware of the cancerous mental illness rapidly growing within them.
I also came to realize that while it does in no way excuse my error in failing to recognize an inappropriate post before making it this is likely the scource of the devience from my norms. Many INTJs such as my self if able to conciously contort their stacks to access Fe are dark empaths improper compensation on my part was then the scource of the devience from my norms.
TLDR: Self aware dark empath INTJ tries to make friends with non-selfaware narcissistic ISFP by means of self deprocating humor targeted at their shared dark atributes and narcissist went ballistic when confronted by what they try so hard to deny.

As INTJ intimidation comes natural (even when you don't want to intimidate), but to me intimidation is more like a weapon, meant to be used only when situation calls for it. Other than that using intimidation to gain respect or to dominate for no reason is a child's game. It is childish. I've never had to intimidate to dominate or to gain respect, because my skills do that for me. When you stop intimidation you open doors that were previously closed. You grow socially and emotionally. It also helps to make more connections to achieve your goal because no matter how much you try to persevere with your hard work and skills, you still need lots of connections to succeed in every field. That's how society works so it is better to be flexible and grow then be stubborn and break.

Meaning they are putting more emphasis on their Ni-Fi axis than their Ni-Te axis, and are therefore prioritizing what their feelings want to be accurate and to work more than what their Te would be revealing to them if not for their Fi feelings? Just know, all or most of your friends and family will one day hold you back from your greater success unless you separate them from your “mission” or whatever you coin your destination. There’s a few that can help or at least function along side you. Most know that eventually you’ll leave this pastor tor better ones and want to keep you with them, to help them. That’s fine if you want. Otherwise, I shoot for the skies and level up. If you’re not progressing, I’ll leave you behind. Lethargy and laziness wear off on those around you. If you have lose friends that have dreams and ambitions but don’t sustainably pursue them, it makes you lazy because you’re doing ok in the same circumstance, or worse (based on environment etc) just set your goals and be better than yesterday. Putting other’s in the equation either limits your success or anxiety and doubt. Just be the best you and you’ll be great. Geez, you'd think none of us ever had depression.
Anyhow, I have seen how intimidating I can be even though I am not trying to be. I think the most intimidating thing about us is our combination of intellect and self-confidence makes us capable of very focused, directed action that comes across (rightfully) as extremely powerful and therefore intimidating. We like being swift and decisive in pursuing our goals and so we rarely think about how that comes across to others - nor are we inclined to. And when we really get going, we get task focused tunnel vision that turns the world into things that either help us toward our goals or get in the way - and some of those things are people.
We can come across as ruthless, callous, inhuman machines - and that's on a good day! :)

Incorrect, we do not enjoy intimidating others. We are hopeless at reading others emotions and don’t even know they feel intimidated. The objective is to communicate facts or strategic insight/direction. Only some types understand us and those sensors feeler combinations just hate us as they are irrational and hysterical about non-issues.

I dont think we are incapable of reading others, moreso that we don't instincively value their "feelings" and therefore don't care or bother to not intimidate them. I feel that we can work on and develop great capability to understand and read their feelings if we want/try to - but still at the end of the day it would only have minimal (or no) effect on our major direction

Not sure if I am intimidating, but I have had close friends who have told me that they didn't like me at first. It seems that people have to get to really know ITN s in order to form a bond. We can come off as controlling and judging, but we can be very caring and generous. I am also a Virgo. I have had to really work on being more empathetic and less judging. I get very impatient with people who are not efficient, or don't take a task seriously. Group projects are impossible to me because I can't tolerate indecisive or lazy people. "They want control." Nothing could be further from the truth. INTJs want life to be like a 5 man SEAL team...they want EVERYONE to be capable, competent, master of their skills, knowing what to do, when to do it, and how it should be done, without any direction, supervision, communication, oversight, or follow-up on the INTJs' part (and absolutely no repetition!). In short, they want everyone to be the peak of their game, all the time. The dark side of this is that they don't just want it, they EXPECT it. INTJs don't want to control anyone. They despise incompetence, and that's an understatement.

I went to women’s high school and that 3 year was true hell of my life and I have no memory of those 3 years really. Even as INTJ I feel outsider from other INTJ because I learned what I need is love not power. I learned how to understand others because I needed it to survive. I learned how to socialize because I also realized I need that to be a good mother. I learned how lucky I am being born with high IQ so I also learned to have empathy because we are all sharing same soul. My son made me a better human being. I never saw myself as intimidating even though I match most of these traits. For example, I picked computer science (science field) as my major in elementary school (long-term planning) because my mother had her mathematician job replaced by computers (broke large goal into achievable sub-goals). I stuck to the plan and currently get 6 figures as a data engineer (achieved goal from accurate planning).
I don't get how any of that is scaring other people 😕; it shouldn't affect them at all.

This video has both low eq, low IQ, and high eq, and high IQ INTJs all lumped together. I personally use my rationality to correct my emotions and to push myself to care about others' emotional needs because I know what normies want... except when they are out right stupid, lol. It has to be outright because I MIGHT have missed something. It is illogical to think I, although almost always right, can't be wrong. I mean, pushing everyone away is just not logically sound, and conformational bias, and without the ability to assume you might be wrong just mean you are a low functioning INTJ. INTJs tell others to prove they are wrong, not that they don't listen to others. For me, I just cut people short and tell them that they are wrong 2/3 the way through their sentences most of the time, because by then you would know they are wrong and what they are trying to say and the rest is just a waste of MY time.

Intuition is the experience you gathered in time, all the data picked from your own experiences or of other's, stored in your unconscious mind. Intuitive people have the ability of listening to their gut feeling which taps into this resource. Many say that is ilogical and non factual. I'd rather say that is unconscious. Is a superpower.

INTJs are confident bc we’re either right and know exactly what we’re doing or have absolutely no clue.😅 We’ll make the best presentation you’ve ever seen in your life and a written contract your parents have to sign to let you attend our birthday party, but when we have to talk to someone, we’ll spend 30 minutes siking ourselves up and planning out the conversation. 😅 INTJs are binary, we’re either insanely confident or bend over backwards to avoid what we aren’t good at.

im INTJ, I have never heard I am intimidating, I heard a lot of the opposite.
alright point 1 is true but that doesn't mean OTHERS know about it, so that doesn't intimidate them, something that they are unaware of can't intimidate them, because they aren't even aware that such thing even exists. point 2 is again true but again like this time yes they do see that but they see it as something bad, making mention to what I said at the start, they see me as an arrogant idiot. point 3.... I literally can't understand what is supposed to be intimidating, I barely even understand the words that are being said in that section, yes I do keep my word but I don't see how that is relevant. point 4 is probably one of the best at trying to prove its point, it is kinda true that I do not like to talk with other people and share my thoughts and I can seem unapproachable... because I am, and yes I can understand that that might intimidate some but... most? does someone not wanting to talk with you intimidate you? HAAA no (point 5), as I said they think I'm stupid, and therefore they are not intimidated. point 6 is probably the least true one so far, I do know other peoples feelings, and I care... about some of them... about the ones that I care, I do not care about the others, but I don't really see how this can intimidate people, people care about some people and not so much about others don't they? (point 7) ............ what? literally what? alright there is no way any other point gets any stupider that this one, no it is not true at all I DO care about truth above anything else, I have questioned everything and always will, I do want to be confronted and given arguments for the other side, I want to be proven wrong, I thought that's what the T stood for, I want to think and debate and expand on ideas, no I won't blindly grab onto my first idea and give any trash argument I can't come up, that's the opposite of me....... but even if someone were to do that.... is that intimidating? point 8 yes true but you are proving we are weird and maybe annoying to deal with, not really intimidating. point 9 is point 2 again because someone was running out of ideas to reach the nice number 10. point 10 is so weird because it isn't even talking about the actual point, he just quickly delivers it and then starts to rant about general INTJ stuff, anyway I will address the point itself, it is honestly hard to tell because I haven't experienced it, no one thinks I am intimidating to even think of how it feels, I guess I would enjoy it? but I can't even be sure.
